  1. I knew from that synopsis awhile back that they'd be bringing Brick's ex-wife back. They really had to do a number on her to make her look older too.

  2. Zoe and Wade continue to be so cute!!! poor Wade with that D-Bag little moron LOL, really like George and Annabeth

  3. I mean they used a bunch of makeup and bad lighting to make Meredith Monroe look older than she is. In truth, she's only 10 years older than Jaime King yet she's supposed to be her mother on the show.

  4. Yeah... the George/AB thing is not working for me... not at all... it's just so forced...
And it was especially more glaringly obvious that is was forced when the episode had AB and Lavon interact and you had Tansy and George spend so much time together too...
Though I will say seeing AB more or less tell Lemon she could suck it when it came to why she's spending time with Lavon was worth it! Even is she did end up giving her "blessing" in the end.

Regardless the AB/George pairing will be a dark mark for me to hold against to what is otherwise shaping up to be a pretty good season.

The Brick storyline was excellent. I do love it when him and Zoe get to bond and help each other grow. And he and the girls do deserve answers. I'm glad they are re-addressing that storyline, even if it means we have to sit through Meredith Monroe with some terrible makeup...

Zoe Wade as per usual this season have been lovely, beautiful, excellent, what with their getting excited, freaking out and just being overwhelmed yet committed soon to be parents...
Who wants to bet the kid's getting named Harley BTW?

  5. Loved it! I really live this show. I'm so happy Wade and Zoe are back. I am not sure about AB and George, but well give it a chance, they could be cute.

  6. holy chesseballs LOL, then they did a very good job

  7. why Harley? from BMW? LOL

  8. Being from Alabama, I find them hosting the state football championship one of the most ridiculous storylines to date, and there have been many head scratchers throughout this show.

  9. I am enjoying seeing Wade and Zoe prepare for parenthood. Those scenes and Wade's reaction after a confrontation with his younger self show his maturity and determination to be a good father. As usual Zoe overthinks everything, and I am glad she had a counseling session with Brick. They helped each other out this week, and it seems that Zoe and Brick have repaired their working and personal relationships back to Season 2 levels.
Time has not been good to Alice. She did not look anything like the perfect Southern belle that Lemon wanted to emulate in Season 1.

  10. Harley as in "Zoe's biological dad, from whom she inherited the practice and is the reason she even came to town in the first place" Harley

  11. I'm so sick of the Lemon/Lavn/AB/George/Tansy merry go round I could vomit. And while I'm glad they're giving the Breelands closure when it comes to Alice, I'm annoyed that it's also going to feed into the aforementioned love quadrangle from hell.
Seeing George and AB in this episode confirmed for me that I don't ship it. I don't see anything there at all, really.

It's a shame we'll never get to see Wade and Zoe as parents cos that's clearly shaping up to be a hilarious disaster on par with everything else in Bluebell.

  12. Harley is Vivian's son's name (who is Wade's ex). I'm rooting for Jack, male version of Jacqueline, Wade's mom.

  13. A Tansy/George reunion would have been better. GAB is so forced.

  14. I can't imagine Wade wanting to name their son Harley after having to deal with Vivian's son in Season 3. Too many painful memories.

  15. George /AB are too rushed & forced.Glad too see Tansy again.Holy cow at Aluce being back & Brick talking to her & now Lemon saw.

  16. Jamie Kng(Lemon) is pregnant with her second baby

  17. I think Wade's a bigger man than that. If it meant something to Zoe to name their son Harley he would have no problem with it.

  18. I don't think Wade would veto Harley on that premise.
But I do like your idea of naming him after his mum...

  19. Tansy/George, AB/Lavon and Lemon/someone new is how it should have been... Oh well...

  20. Lemon/Peter were a great pairing.

  21. Yeah, I liked him too... I would have been okay if they'd brought him back.

But I wouldn't be opposed to have had someone totally new for her.

I've mentioned this idea before, that they could have brought Jesse, Wade's brother back, and then done something with him and Lemon... I think that would have been interesting, because it crosses over with many more storylines.

    Woulda shoulda coulda I guess...

  22. whoa i did not remember his name LOL

  23. now that you put it that way, i'd like that

  24. is it confirmed by Pedowitz that it's THAT season though?

  25. Is what confirmed? If you're talking about if it's been confirmed that the show will end then no, not officially. But the numbers suggest it's almost guaranteed the show won't be back. They kinda knew that going in, which is why we know that this season will end with some kind of closure.

  26. I agree that I don't think Wade would veto the name if Zoe really, really wanted it but I'll still be very surprised if they go with that name. They've already had a character on the show who was called "little Harley" and was named after that character, I can't see them naming someone else that. Even if she has moved away and it would be awkward on multiple levels, theoretically Zoe still wants to have some kind of relationship with Vivian and giving your kid the same name as your cousin's kid is kind of weird. Maybe they will even have Zoe and Wade discuss that at some point? I think it's much more likely that Zoe and Wade use Harley as the middle name than the first.

  27. I have to admit, I've had a bit of a change of opinion regarding George/Annabeth and that is hard for me to write because I was very against it. I still don't care for the way they did it (coming out of absolutely nowhere), and I still don't like that it feels forced and too much like they are trying to tie everything up in a neat little package but I did kind of like the George/AB scenes in this episode, and believe me I didn't want to.

I'm still bothered by AB having another serious relationship with a Lemon castoff and that them being together validates what Lemon did by trying to set them up but they are kind of cute together. I still prefer Lavon/AB but I knew that was never going to happen because LG is such a huge Lavon/Lemon fan, for some reason. I guess if they had to pair them off I would have preferred they had George and AB become more friends and we had gotten to see them hanging out as friends (instead of just hearing about it) and then at the very end of the season they could have said we maybe want to explore the possibility that there is something more there. If the show ends with this season you still have them both happy and if it does get another season you can explore that relationship.

I have realized that I also might have been more open to the pairing if they had both had another relationship first. AB just said she was still in love with Lavon! George just realized he is in fact, NOT in love with Lemon after spending the past few months telling himself he was. I know this wasn't really possible with only 10 episodes but I think the speed of how it's happening is a big part of the problem.

I will say I'm really happy they aren't putting George and Tansy back together (even though I knew that wasn't going to happen from interviews LG did before the season started). I've never been a Tansy fan or a George/Tansy fan and while I'm happy she didn't take that tool Scooter back I certainly did not want her with George!

I really enjoyed the Zoe and Brick scenes. I liked her explaining that it isn't that she is worried about raising a boy so much as raising an Alabama boy! I also liked her comforting Brick after Alice showed up too. She clearly feels protective of him after what Alice did to him and I think that was nice to see. We don't often get to see how much Brick and Zoe actually do care about each other so it's almost more meaningful when we do.
