I haven't really liked The Originals the last weeks but when Davina and Kol danced and cried, my heart just broke and I started crying.
ReplyDeleteKol's death scene because it was sad to see them saying goodbye.
ReplyDeleteI was kinda surprised that no bloodbath occurred during the wedding itself. I was half-expecting an ax or an arrow flying out from somewhere and hitting a bull's eye on Jackson's heart just as he was about to kiss Hayley.
ReplyDeleteI mean sure, I know Kol was dying and all, but it feels weird not to see any bloodshed happening in an average episode of The Originals.
I loved the baby Hope scenes. I can't wait till her parents are aware of her magical talents. I am hopeful that she will be the strongest witch they have ever seen.

ReplyDelete2.The wedding was ridiculous but was shot wonderfully.The background score was phenomenal.
3.Josh and aiden sorted out their differences after their apparent breakup.
4.Last but not the least-Caleb dying in the arms of his brothers and sister.That was a heartbreaking scene.I cried a little,i admit.
Hayley tells Jackson why she married him. Arranged marriage is a very old and complicated concept, but Hayley obviously recognizes that she's lucky to have someone like Jackson in her life in spite of everything she's done. I love watching their relationship evolve. Hopefully this brings to a close any love triangles so the season can move forward.
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping my fingers crossed that this whole Rebekah in another body thing could lead to a potential comeback for Claire Holt now that she didn't get SuperGirl... It's nice to have the character around as I can picture Holt in my head but it is just not the same... Rather have no Rebekah than pretend Rebekah
ReplyDeleteKol's death scene. While I hate that he died again, it was a much better death this his first one. Fingers crossed he returns in his own body.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that Hayley and Jackson's friendship, love, marriage and family ( I really want Jackson & Hayley to give Hope a half sister/brother ) bonding will truly flourish over the remaining 8 episodes this season .... before Jack is killed during the final .... giving Hayley even more reason to be apart of this supernatural species war..

ReplyDeleteYeah, Hayley is slowly disconnecting from the Originals. The only thing keeping her from starting a war with them now is the baby.

ReplyDeleteIts rare though for studios to let actors do more then one show...I suspect because the other show is in a different country and aired in the US during a different time of the year that the studio allowed it to happen. NBC is notorious for not allowing their actors to do other shows.

ReplyDeleteFor me I did not have a really good scene I liked the Klaus and cami scene and seeing baby hope. I am a huge elijah and haley fan and I hate seeing elijah cry and he was going to say the words. I know there are a lot of haters and I have to believe they will find their back together and he loves her. It sounds like klaus was jelous of CaMI and elijah spending time together. Kol scene was dad glad his family was there. Haley playing the victim give me a break

ReplyDeleteKol's death scene was awful. Elijah seemed more upset that Hayley was getting married than that KOL WAS DYING. They've totally destroyed Elijah. Klaus showed more emotion when Kol died on TVD, then he did here.
ReplyDeleteI actually really liked the scene where Hayley told Jackson why she married him. I needed to hear that she married Jackson because it's what she wanted for her - and it wasn't just about helping the werewolves gain new powers.
what do you mean? it's not like if Liz were turned she would've been in eternal pain. I think it's because Kol's a New Orleans witch now that he CAN be consecrated, like when they consecrated esther's remains. Either way i really thought Kol finally being accepted into the "Always and Forever" pact the three siblings had for centuries allowed him to be saved by his family and that BASTARD!!!! finncent were the one to die

ReplyDeleteMy point being about Kol and consecration is - Kol is in some other witches body. That said witch has died along with Kol, as such, would it not be the original person who would be consecrated and not the host Kol, who left his body behind in TVD? Kol should have theoretically been able to jump or dissipate until called forth into a newly prepped body.
Definitely the werewolf heads wedding gift. These are the kinds of scenes I live for! Klaus at his wittiest and sneakiest.

I dont know.But I do believe they are slow burn-I am so hoping that Jackson is bad and if he hurts Haley he is a dead man. Does Haley not know how much Elijah loves her and what he has done for her and he cried for her when he thought she was gone forever. These writers like angst. Do you think Elijah will stay away from the compound. I dont think Jackson can protect Haley or Hope. I dont get how you can love someone and sleep with someone else if they slept together-- especially if he was Eiljah the most gorgeous man on that show

O h I forgot he saved her life multiple times and saved Jackson life and if it was not for him Haley and the baby would have died, he grieved for her. And Elijah loves her it does not come easy for him. Give me a break on this nice guy routine.
ReplyDeleteAnd? Saving Hayley doesn't mean anything, Elijah has done some horrible things, and is a man whose virtues and morals change depending on his mood. Disregarding saving Hayley's life (that is a weak argument). Jackson is the only genuine nice man we've seen, Hayley deserves him. He literally has done nothing that merits people not thinking Hayley should be without him.

ReplyDeleteHayley didn't let Elijah confess jis love cause she would back out of the cerenony. And she couldn't do it , cause of Jackson, Hope ans all the wolves.
The two will come around, they have an eternity to make it happen.
Of course he'll come back to the compound.This track has more to do with daniel's shooting schedule of Saving Hope and less related to hayley's wedding.I guess we'll see very less of him for the next 2-3 episodes,maybe for 1/2 scenes,then he'll come back.
ReplyDeleteJackson's character needs more spice,he's too good as a character.In this type of show,that's considered bland.Nathan parsons is an average actor at best whereas daniel is a terrific actor,that's why these comparisons are unfair.Anyway i like both of them and u hate jackson-that's okay.everyone has different preferences.

Agreed....they could have still done a body switch....anything could have been done...it is mystifying....many holes in this storyline.

ReplyDeleteFunny thing....I tried to explain this show to my sister....and she was like....it is wayyy tooo complex for me to get into now....LOL....it really is, if you think about it....specifically for moments like these.
I replied to her, that she would need to watch TVD and then the Originals to really get it....she replied...that is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much TV for me. I died laughing!
I hope so I love them together. I guess I have to put up with Jackson and Haley. I should stop listening to haters. And it is true that its the only second season. And dont compare Jackson and Elijah they are different. Its hard for Elijah to tell his feelings because he has been hurt kind of like Klaus. That scene broke my heart I hated to see him cry he does love her. And watching Jackson and her makes me sick I still think something is up with him. Do you think Kaley will happen. I hope not I can hardly handle this

so did Joseph. I wished that Elijah would not listen to Klaus. I want
Haley and Elijah to be endgame not Kaley.

ReplyDeleteThe only horrible thing that Elijah ever did is killing Tatia which he did not know he did. Lets see Elijah has saved Haley and Hope multiple times and he saved weak ass Jackson ass a couple of times. I think that Haley and Jackson are boring and I am not the only person that thinks that. I am a Elijah fan and I have been since day one. He should never have saved Jackson and now going to work with Haley against klaus because he wants to kill Jackson- just let him kill him. So I guess Haley deserves a boring SOB. I will always be a Elijah fan and you can like who you want. Jackson will get killed off

ReplyDeleteThe moment Hayley turned her world fall apart and Jackson is giving her what she needs right now, someone to lean on. Elijah wasn't really reliable this season and he can't blame Hayley for doing what she thinks is the best for her and hope.

Someone said they don't like Haley and Elijah and that's their opinion but someone thinks Elijah and Gia it was already explained it would not happen and I could see Haley getting jelous. And Elijah does not love easily. What do you think

ReplyDeletei have to correct myself now bec i realized the episode aired the 2 chanting spells (Kol/Davina and Freya) side by side. these 2 scenes are connected together and has something to do with the hex. yes ur right. Hex was broken when Finn died and only reactivated when Freya resurrected him thus making Kol's nose bleed. i guess it's one of those where the spells are binded to a witch's life

Elijah was just telling Klaus the truth. Like how Klaus gets upset about Cami spending time with Elijah it was his ideal. And Elijah does love Haley he just needs to tell her and its only season 2 maybe they are prolonging this for later. Someone though Dalia was Haley. How could that be possible?? For me my endgame couples are Elijah and Haley and Cami and Klaus.
