  1. i pretty much felt the same way about Bates Motel which was one of my favourite movies (psycho) but the show is very good.

I think as long as they are done well and bring something fresh then I'm happy to see them, but if they are just a cash grab then no.

  7. Hello guys! Let us start with a popular show here on SPTV but rating wise a bit down under!
    Why aren't people watching The100?

No one knows but the show is great

In germany it is ice cold and tomorrow it will snow ❄❄❄

  12. In 50 years time great philosophers will debate just that question.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Ur from Germany? Which part!? I lived there and have family in NRW.

  14. Revenge and OUAT22 January 2015 at 17:19

Oh nice :) I live in Frankfurt

    ReplyDelete
  15. Pretty much this, but with wind too. Gotta love the Fens, lol

    ReplyDelete
  16. Not much warmer in the Netherlands. I think snow is coming on Saturday for us.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Typical UK weather.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Not much warmer on the other side of the sea.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah, not much better in Surrey unfortunately. My 35 minute walk home resulted in my hands going red. I ran the hot tap for about a minute and only when I could see steam coming off my hands when the water hit them did it actually start to feel hot. Worrying lol

Yeah for us too i think, not friday, my bad. The netherlands are great!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Did a gig a Frankfurt many years ago when I was in band. Lovely place. We played at a venue called Batschkapp

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ouch, be careful of chilblains :o They are nasty tbh, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I hope they don't reboot X-Files, the original was very good. I say networks should leave successful shows alone.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm snowed in. I'm in the US. I don't have a clue when I can go out again. My car is buried. And we're going to get more snow off and on all week. I hate winter.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I don't really care if there are reboots because I don't have to watch them if I don't like them. What I don't like are terrible sequels.

    ReplyDelete
  26. On the US East Coast, it's gorgeous but cool. I think I have flowers trying to bloom and it's going to snow this weekend, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Bless you. I live in the South so we get all four seasons but no snow yet. They're calling for it the weekend. You don't have to say but judging from being snowed in, I'd say you are Midwest-Upper North East. It'll be spring before you know it!

    ReplyDelete
  28. You were in a band. What were you guys called because I need to google this ;)

    ReplyDelete
  29. You're trying to get a little frostbite! Careful with that.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh wow, I've been there too :o With Back to the Planet when I was touring with them, lol. We arrived a night early and ending up seeing Howard Jones play there too, fun times :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well, Twin Peaks is more of a continuation than a reboot. I think X-Files might be the same.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ha, you didn't know this :o The name is pretty obvious ;)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yeah. Perhaps I should remember to take my gloves next time lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. It's not a good combination, I must admit.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I don't mind reboots, especially if they're well done but I do think certain shows should never be touched. Like MASH or Buffy. Some reboots will have no choice but to be worse than the original. If that's the case, don't attempt it. Twin Peaks I don't mind. It was 25 years ago, the original cast is returning and it has a lot of creepy story to tell.
The X-files I am iffy on. I loved it so much but it had it's ending. It had it's movie. (Which I think should have been a TV mini-series) It's told it's story.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The 100 is just not my kind of show.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I know what you mean! Some things shouldn't be touched. I was very torn when they announced they wanted to do a Charmed Reboot but than I remembered how much I loved the show and would like to see the sisters kicking again, as I know all the aired ep from first to last scene.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I love the show and had to binge watch last season to catch up. I normally stay away from shows that have the main characters in a love triangle because one of them gets thrown under the bus (usually the one I think is the better actor) just to please the ship audience and in my opinion takes away from what would be an awesome storyline. And doesn't it figure that's what happens after I've enjoyed half of the second season, I almost stopped watching because I thought there goes the storyline but I will watch a couple of more epi. before I decide whether to continue or just move on to other shows and there are many, many great shows out there so I won't feel any loss.

  40. Been in a couple, The Dreaming, Technology, DarkUFO, and greenhaus. Greenhaus I was one of the original members but the site is only from 2010 onwards. I left around 2005 when I moved. The old site used to have 100's of photos but they are long gone.

  41. Fair. Is it just the genre or something else?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ha, small world :) Wow, Howard Jones. Never saw him live.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I prefer sequels to reboots really, especially if it was a great show to begin with doing it with a new cast seems pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It was a bit bizarre tbh, but very awesome in a lot of ways. We were the only ones dancing most of the time, lol. This was in '93, so a while after his heyday so to speak. Guy, the keyboard player, and he got on like a house on fire, as you can imagine XD

    ReplyDelete
  45. I never bothered knowing the origin of the name.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Not really the genre. Just wasn't interested in the concept.

    ReplyDelete
  47. In theory The 100 right up my alley. I enjoy genre shows and I know many of the actors from other shows I enjoyed.

Something about The 100 just doesn't click. It has a lot of great parts that don't come together for me.

...And I hate the main character with a fiery passion.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Cold with a few inches of snow.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ha, awesome. Would have loved to have seen him play

    ReplyDelete
  50. See, I could cope with the cold if there was snow. I could have fun in snow. Instead, I still have to go to college all day and then walk home in the cold. Stupid weather.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Did you watched an episode or didn't even try?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Cold and it has been raining continually since yesterday.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Since its still early for Eye Candy and the viewers went up the second episode, how much of a good chance does it have?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I did about 100 gigs, which reminds me I must one day dig all the photos out.

Here is one of reviews we go at a Gothic festival (Note: we were not Gothic at all lol)

    http://www.dso.co.uk/gig34.htm

    ReplyDelete
  55. I live in New York. We don't have much snow but i have a good 3 or 4 inches of ice and we have been stuck in the house for a week now. Seems a lot of people are having the same problem around here,no one has rock salt to sell!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'll check them all out.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I think Eliza is quite beautiful, was irritated by her voice as the show started but grew to like her alot. Think her character development was great and still going quite strong.
For the overall concept I was sceptic how theCw would pull it off but S02 is just perfectly working in my eyes. They slacked a bjt in the middle of S01 but since 1x10 theybare going really strong. Loving it.

    ReplyDelete
  58. cold and windy, but no snow

    ReplyDelete
  59. In Poland it has been raining all day

    ReplyDelete
  60. I hope at least it will fit the temperatures.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I agree, that is why I decided to stop watching The 100. Well, I still have my itunes subscription to the show and maybe I binge watch the rest of season 2 later, but for now I am done. My Wednesday is full already anyway with Arrow, Stalker and Chicago PD.

    ReplyDelete

That is great :) Frankfurt is really a nice city

    ReplyDelete
  63. Revenge and OUAT22 January 2015 at 17:55

    Cool 😃

    ReplyDelete
  64. oh yeah Batchkapp! Thats the best one I think everybody went to Batchkapp in and around Frankfurt, they have a new place no.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I got chilblains on my finger one winter. That was hell

    ReplyDelete
  66. I don't really care about her looks and her voice was fine. She was just way too perfect.

She was never wrong and when she was they had to make sure the audience knew it wasn't her fault. This may have changed since I quit watching after S1.

I think the biggest issue with the show not clicking was that so much of the drama was caused by people being dumb. It's one of the things that made me hate The Walking Dead for a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  67. It's the demo that matters, not the viewers.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Best food for which show?
Some have determind Cookie Dough Ice Cream for Flarrow (that's on of the off topic postst ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  69. I bet. I have paralysis in my left leg and got it a few years back in my two smallest twos, which are numb anyway. It was horrible :(

    ReplyDelete
  70. The name is weird, Eye Candy! But watched it yesterday, and I liked it. Sadly Daniel Lessing was killed too early, I was actually looking forward to seeing a show with him again. His partner Thommy is a weak actors, they should have killed him instead.

  71. Revenge and OUAT22 January 2015 at 18:02

What has been your favorite fighting scene on Revenge?
    For me:

    1. Victoria, Emily, David, Jack, Ben vs Malcolm Black and helpers (4x13)
    2. Emily vs Kate (4x10)
    3. Emily vs Nate Ryan (2x14)
    4. Emily vs Victoria's Henchman (3x22)
    5. Emily vs White haired man (1x22)
    6. Emily vs Men in hospital (4x08)

    ReplyDelete
  72. For me was the appearance of being a show that is targeted to a very young demographic. I tried a couple of times last season but after about 2 minutes of watching decided it was too young for me. I recently went back to it after reading from several people that it's worth sticking it out, and watched the full first season and really liked it. Had I not been so heavily involved in this site, and not in the position to hear that feedback, I never would have gone back though.

    ReplyDelete
  73. So how did everyone first find spoiler tv?

I came over from the great days of lost on darkufo.

    ReplyDelete
  74. In Lithuania today without snow/rain and a little snow that we had almost gone. But tomorrow seems will be snowing.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Well I think The 100 had to play the triangle/teenage drama card in S1 because of CW. But in S2 it is very much going it's own direction now. More adults and over all arc storyline. I even have the impression that Rothenberg is trying his best at keeping out any shipping scenes with Bellamy and Clark (cause we already have a couple). He is not changing the relationship dynamics but does not put in closeup of frames and shots shippers passionatly latch on to.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yeah way too perfect is a good decription for Clarke. She was quite dominant as the show started. She still is but think it is better balanced and more character got focus and development.

    ReplyDelete
  77. hahaha most germans need a long time to warm up dancing. imo it has improved very much.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Too cold for ice cream.

    ReplyDelete
  79. So sorry to hear about the paralysis. What happened (if you wanna share)?

    ReplyDelete
  80. I think they are just doing a good story and it isn't that much young oriented, even though it seemed so.
Don't know if you followed up to S02 already but the show just keeps me knocking out of my shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I heard season 2 is better. I haven't seen any of it yet though, so no spoilers please. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Lol, they do appreciate the music we used to find - it has been a long time since I've gigged over there to be honest. Every song was applauded and encores were demanded. But yes, we got used to them sitting and watching rather than dancing at many venues :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. Even though I like Bellarke's chemistry I nevee saw the writers trying to go that way and neither I think that the writers killed Finn cause of the ship. Especially after last nights ep where they established that Clarke isn't there for love.
Finn's death was really story oriented and character driven. It suited his character so profoundly. But that's at least me.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I have MS, which has caused the main nerve in my knee to become badly damaged, so I've lost most of the feeling in the lower leg on that side. It is also causing problems in other nerves too, so I get a lot of general all over pain/migraines/etc, but that's probably the main thing that impacts me on a day to day basis.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Rothenburg is no fan of Bellarke, he made that clear in several interviews, he said Finn was Clarke's only love interest. Did he said, it will never happen, no. IMO the writers created Finn's storyline, to give him a good exit for the show after all the criticism his character got in season 1. The Bellarke hype got all of them by surprise and they reacted. The Writersroom tweeted once that the original storyline around Finn wasn't that dark. Rothenberg wants to have the recognition as the new dark show, so he goes for the most explosive story. I am happy for all of those who want a renewal and got it. I still think the character of Finn will be missed, I liked season 1. Season 2 has disappointed me, it is all about Clarke, even Finn's death was more about her than him. And I go on, what I don't like, I just don't want to bore everybody.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Emily vs White haired man! definetely that one!

    ReplyDelete
  87. googling tbh. I always found this site and forgot the name untill i bookmarked it.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Once again, so sorry to hear that.

    ReplyDelete
  89. oh oh, that would such a great USD!
Can't decide, I think I am going with your no 2

    ReplyDelete
  90. 1 and 2 from your list. Season 4 has been on point with the action. Hope they keep it going.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Cheers :) It could always be a lot worse, is the way I handle it. I'm very lucky in many, many ways :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. like 8 yrs ago I went to spoilerfix but something happend and they did not update that much anymore. so I stopped googling for spoilers in generall, then I got so hooked on Lost Girl but stayed mostly on the showcase.ca forum until shippers took over. Searching for LG spoilers I found SpoilerTV, and thats when I relapsed and learned here about shows like Arrow and Strike Back and many many more awesome shows.

I submitted it but it was never chose :(

    ReplyDelete
  94. Melissa Benoist (Glee, Whiplash, Homeland) has been cast as Supergirl!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  95. sometime it takes time. Once one of my polls was chosen 5/6 months later

  96. Revenge and OUAT22 January 2015 at 18:40

Ohhh okay. Well, we shall see :)

    ReplyDelete
  97. I really admire people who have a positive attitude.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Disappointing!

    ReplyDelete
  99. It is not what I was expecting, but I think she could do a good job. We will see..

    ReplyDelete
  100. It's cold and sunny which I hate because it irritates me. I look outside and think it looks nice and as soon as I walk out the door I'm freezing my butt off.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Ha!! Same here. :)

    ReplyDelete
  102. I just hate seeing a show I loved rebooted without the original characters that made me love it. If some original characters were cast I don't mind them happening.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I think 1st season was more for teenagers. Second season is way better and what I think more for an older audience (and I am not a teenager!)

    ReplyDelete
  104. Ohhh this is interesting!! I want to go off topic. But idk what to start off with? LOL Let me just scroll down, see what grabs my interest.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I really enjoy that lone ray of sunshine on my face when I step out in winter.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I don't. xD I have spring/summer for sunshine but I my snow during the winter. There has been like 2 or 3 days of snow last year and 2013, there was barely any snow either.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Sunny, but cool. We've actually been doing pretty good weather wise. I was looking for more snow. But we may still get some soon. The winter isn't over for us.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Half the time I hate reboots. Seriously some thing should just be left alone!! It really irks me.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Clarke gets on my nerves too (way too much of her) I want to get to know the other characters, how they became what they are now,... There are enough shows that are not concentrating on just one character. But still there are some moments when she just surprises me with what she is doing.
Also that shipping of fans about Clarke and Bellamy...it is not just about that couple hooking up but about survival in the wilderness for christ's sake! But you don't notice it during the show (especially during the second season) that is why I think it could have way better ratings if it weren't on The CW. It reminds me of a mixture of The Walking Dead, Lost, a little bit of Game of Thrones and BSG.
No matter what, I love that show because how it is written, actors, storylines, suroundings,... All in all one of the best shows on tv!

    ReplyDelete
  110. I prefer sorbet. Mmmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I really wish it snowed here.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I See Dead People22 January 2015 at 19:52

It's never too cold for ice cream

    ReplyDelete
  113. I See Dead People22 January 2015 at 19:55

I like to pick certain series, and watch them back-to-back.

Normally i base it off of what series i think go together. I normally watched, e.g. Knights of Sidonia and The 100 back-to-back, Salem and Sleepy Hollow back-to-back, Bob's Burgers and Greek back-to-back, and Tru Calling and Beauty & the Beast back-to-back.

I was wondering if everybody did this, and if so, what series do you watch back-to-back ? :)

    ReplyDelete
  114. I See Dead People22 January 2015 at 19:56

I love it so much. Didn't think season 2 could get better than season 1, I'm 2 episodes in and I think its but it's done it. I'm into reading the books now, too :)

    ReplyDelete
  115. I think the Charmed reboot was just a rumor, was it not?

    ReplyDelete
  116. I See Dead People22 January 2015 at 19:58

    Freezing

    ReplyDelete
  117. I started the show because of Jaha, Kane and Abby, and now they are sidelined, and the experiments in Mount Weather are just awful, and the group of the kids they have split up, I liked that group dynamic, so I move on. I still watch too much TV anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Same for me. The adults were the ones keeping me watching the show. I just hope that we are going to see more of them soon.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Well, last nights episode was basically all about Clarke. And doesn't anybody find it weird, that the leaders are teenagers?

    ReplyDelete
  120. It was in works but they didn't proceeded with the pilot. Wasn't even picked up for production. Early in the fall M. Ausiello CBS backed off the project.

    ReplyDelete
  121. As a person who l is beyond the teenage stage, I find it extremely weird that both groups now are lead by teenagers. The kids had an advantage of 25 days of the ground, and now all leadership skills from the sky people are gone.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I like the German programming of Arrow and then Grimm. But normally I don't like to watch the same type of shows back to back.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Yep mostly Clarke focused. The M. Weather teens got finally some focus and development.

The issue is that the adults don't know how to act on Earth. Clarke and Co learned the tough way how to survive on Earth. It is more about respect and playing this war game properly.

Of course it is strange but currently suits the story. They adults should step up as the story progresses. I mean they are about 2-3 weeks on Earth max, give them time.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Okkk, I think I've got a question. IF you could be anywhere right now, Where would it be? WHO would it be with??? (Character wise of your favorite shows, Characters only not actors) and WHAT would you guys be doing??? Also it can be different places with each different character you choose! I'll start off with a few.....

I'd be with Caroline Forbes shopping in France, then Go see Damon at a Wine Gallery with Alaric taking pictures.

I'd be with Barry, Cisco, Joe, and Iris...in the future, at the Allen residence, drinking maragaritas and having all the Speedsters race each other. LOL

I would love to be with Team Arrow, to visit Mama Smoak in Vegas, painting the town red, trying to win some of Oliver's money back. Lol Then Oliver, Diggle, and Roy, have to enter a Elvis striptease contest and me and Felicity have to cheer them on. LMAO

Me, Ichabod, Abbie, Jenny, and Irving, go Sky diving in California. Ichabod's reaction would be priceless!!! Ohhhh then I'd take him to a race track!!!

Me and Elijah Mikaelson...we'll be in the Bahamas, in a hotel...and you know. LOL

    OK GO!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  125. Hmm, I don't do that. BUT I do like to go back into my old shows and have marathons, and say the character's lines before they do. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  126. I'm trying to remember who she is? I watch Glee, and idk who she is?

    ReplyDelete
  127. Yes that is weird. I totally agree with you on that. I can't imagine myself being led by (my) children...just sounds/feels awkward to me. I just hope that they are going to do ssomething about it though.

    ReplyDelete
  128. The first season covered about 22 days, I think. That is the advantage the kids have, the sky people survived all these years up in the sky and now they cannot adapt? So it still kind of is a teenage show, just as cruel as a cable show.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Good! I mean I probably still would've checked it out as I was a big fan of Charmed, butttt I'm good. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  130. I am looking forward to Kane and Abby stepping up, if the writers allow it. Also next week Jaha's and Murphy's interaction might be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I loved the scenes between Abby and Kane back on the Ark! And that Jaha scene in the promo: "sacrifice the few to save the many" so maybe there is hope that the adults are getting a little more focus too.

    ReplyDelete
  132. It's very very cold here in the UK, but it doesn't want to snow :( well at least where I live anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I haven't seen snow for the past 2 years! It has been snowing in the UK, but nowhere near where I live.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I always have a little joke with my friends that when the forecast says "Britain will be colder than Everest tonight" and/or "3 inches of snow is set to hit Britain overnight" we always think 'Yep, everywhere in Britain except here', where we're seemingly immune to the rest of the British weather. It's like we're in a different country here in Surrey.

  135. You probably don't know the show but if I could be part of any fictional universe, I'd pick Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. I remember wanting to be a waterbender so, so badly. I still do but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.

    ReplyDelete
  136. She played Marley, one of the new students from Season 4.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I watched one with family. It's not a show I'd ever become a fan of.
Nowadays I try not to get into shows. I have too many already.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Ohhh goddd!!! Marley!!! Are you kidding me??? Ohhh no. Ohhh I don't like that.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Heard of it, and never watched it. And THANK YOU for participating!! Personally I felt this was a fun game, I was anxious to read everyone's answers. Lol Maybe since you answered, that may get the ball rolling.

BUT....which character would you be with And what would you be doing? = )

    ReplyDelete
  140. I think her name was Marley. She was on S4 and S5. She sang Wreaking Ball lol.

    ReplyDelete
  141. "Yep, everywhere in Britain except here" Me and my friends think the exact same. We have said that we probably live in the most boring part of the country. My dog is 2, and she is yet to see snow...

    ReplyDelete
  142. We just have rain and cold. And the occasional bit of sun. That's pretty much it.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I liked Marley's character (to a point) but having her(the actress) play Supergirl. Just no, I'm very disappointed. Out of all the options they could've chose, they chose her. I don't like it. I'm hoping that she can pull it off, and I'll shut up.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I'd definitely be with Scott McCall from Teen Wolf and it wouldn't matter where we were or what were we doing he's awesome enough to make anything enjoyable :)

    ReplyDelete
  145. We've had a bit of a warm up where I live (Iowa) this last week-some of our snow has melted. We did get a bit the other day, but only a dusting. There's supposed to be more snow this weekend, though, so we'll see how that plays out. Today it's just cloudy and cold-a damp sort of cold more than a bitter cold.
I love winter, myself-it's my favorite season. But being snowed in and unable to go anywhere is never fun, so I hope you can manage to dig out very soon. And it sounds like the northeastern U.S. is supposed to get a big snowstorm this weekend, so stay warm and stay safe, everyone living out that way!

    ReplyDelete
  146. If we haven't gotten snow by December 1st each year I always get a little nervous. Christmas without snow just seems so very wrong to me. And I get a little sad when we have a bit of a thaw and our snow melts in January, too. Once it's winter, I prefer it to stay winter at least through mid March, if not April.

    ReplyDelete
  147. It's all over the place here in Ireland as usual :P Snowing and freezing cold early this morning, sunny and warm during the day and lashing rain and super windy now. 4 seasons in a day is pretty typical here lol

    ReplyDelete
  148. I honestly can't even remember now-I think I either heard someone talking about this site during a discussion about various TV shows somewhere else, like TV Line or AV Club or something, and I wanted to see what all this place had to offer for information on my favorite TV shows, so I popped in to look.
And in short, I came for the spoilers, stayed for all the interesting discussion :).

    ReplyDelete
  149. I'm terrified of the idea of skydiving, but now that you've brought the "Sleepy Hollow" characters into it...I may have to reconsider :p. I'd pay to see Ichabod's reaction to that and something like a NASCAR rally.
I think it'd be fun to explore the old Winchester mansion with them for some reason.
As for other characters...hm...I'd love to hang out with the gang from "Community". Maybe we could take a road trip.
And I'd be more than happy to hang out with Spencer Reid from "Criminal Minds". A nice quiet evening date at a coffee shop or a bookstore, walk around the park, then going to one or the other's place and just having a cozy night in together....yeah. That'd work just fine for me :D.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Hahahahahahahaha idk all your characters, but that sounds like a helluva good time! That would be great. I can see the smile on your face. LOL....omg taking Ichabod to the NNASCAR, would be amazing. He'd be like a kid in and candy store. I'd have to tell Abbie, ok, use your power of Law enforcement, say there's a bomb on this vehicle, and drive it away, then one we get around the corner, have Ichabod jump in and take over. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  151. Boooooo. You gave me half an answer. LOL This is YOUR imagination. I don't want him to make it enjoyable. I want YOU to make it enjoyable. Lol Idk this character, I don't watch TW. Sooo tell me something about his personality, and then tell me, based off that, what you could see you two doing? C'mon...make me laugh?? I know you have something, I wanna hear it. = p

    ReplyDelete
  152. Hehe, thanks :D. "Community" is a fun, wacky show, so if you haven't seen it yet, I'd definitely recommend it. And Spencer Reid's from "Criminal Minds", and he's kind of one of the most adorable characters on the planet :).
Yeah, Ichabod grew up in an era well before cars, so he'd really have no concept of "driving on the other side of the road", but he'd still be wondering why they're all making left-hand turns only, and then he'd want to give it a try himself, and Abbie'd be trying to talk sense into him while Jenny and Irving just look on exasperated at their arguing, and yet go along with their crazy plans :p.
But I do love the idea of them each taking a spin in a car for whatever reason :D.

  154. I would steal The Doctor's TARDIS and with....

-Melinda May as my companion, we would kick some Hydra ass

-Henry & Jo (Forever) as my companions, we would solve all of history's unsolved mysteries

-the cast of Galavant and Whose Line Is It Anyway as my companions, we would travel the world singing completely inappropriate songs in every major city

-McGee as my companion, we would write best selling novels about the adventures with the Galavant and WLIIA cast

-Reese, Finch and Fusco (POI) as my companions, we would go back and save Carter - cuz we need both Carter and Cookie (Empire) in this world

-Diggle, Roy and Oliver (Arrow) as my companions, we would just disappear and reappear five feet over and watch out the windows as Felicity, Ray, Cisco, Caitlin, Dr Wells and Barry, Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj, and Sylvester (Arrow, Flash, TBBT, Scorpion) fangirled over the TARDIS

-Jane (JtV) as my companion, we would visit every child and every teenager that didn't think they were good enough to be loved and make them listen to Gina's GG speech. #ICanAndIDid

-Mary, Queen of Scots (Reign) as my companion, we would visit all the beautiful castles of Scotland

-the Winchesters (SPN) as my companion, we would go back to the height of the MoL society and learn the magic of their grandfather

-Raven (The 100) as my companion, we would save Finn

-Elijah (TO) as my companion, we would go back to the 1800s and dagger Klaus

-Nick (Grimm) as my companion, we would figure out the mystery of they keys. And kill Adalind.

-Hannibal as my companion, we would travel the world, tasting everything the locals have to offer ;-)

-Constantine as my companion, we would smite some demon ass

-Raymond Reddington (The Blacklist) as my companion, we'd do every illegal thing I ever wanted to

-Parker, Eliot, Hardison (Leverage) and Neal and Mozzie (White Collar) as companions, we would pull off a perfect heist of the crown jewels

-Scott, Lydia and Styles as my compaions, we would round up all the Omega wolves and lonely Banshees and create the largest pack of Supernaturals Beacon Hills has ever seen

-Dr Reid (Criminal Minds) as my companion, we visit every museum in the world. And then I'd deliver him to Angela cuz he really is the most adorable character ever ;-)

And last but not least, when I returned the TARDIS, I would boot Clara out and become the 12th Doctor's new companion and along with the Librarians, we would save worlds all over the universe!

  155. We weren't the coldest place in the US today so that's a great January day in Minnesota.

    ReplyDelete
  156. lmfaoooo!!! Holy shit!!! I think we have a winner!!! Emma Emma Emma you certainly had fun!! I love it!!! There was a lot of things you said that i really enjoyed (and some of your shows i watch as well). I will get back to you, so we can talk more about it. Right now i'm in my TVD zone!! = )

    ReplyDelete
  157. It kind of freaks me out sometimes whenever we have those moments where it's warmer in a place like, say, Alaska, than it is where you live or here in Iowa. Something about that just always sounds...off...to me when that happens :p.

    ReplyDelete
  158. -the cast of Galavant and Whose Line Is It Anyway as my companions, we would travel the world singing completely inappropriate songs in every major city
I haven't even seen "Galavant" yet and I approve of this SO MUCH. That would just be a blast.
And awwwwww, thank you in regards to Reid :D! I love your idea with him-I think he would very much enjoy that. And the best part: you wouldn't need a tour guide, 'cause he'd cover that himself :p!
I also love your idea with Jane from "Jane the Virgin" (another show I'm curious to check out given all the good comments about it). That's really sweet and thoughtful.
Your ideas are awesome. You sound like fun :).

    ReplyDelete
  159. Galavant is so much fun! The song lyrics are hilarious - so sad that it's a limited episode order and this weekend is the finale already. The ratings tanked after the two premier episodes so it's likely to be bear chow but it was fun while it lasted!

Jane the Virgin is another great show. I, like many others, groaned and rolled my eyes at the name of the show but binge watching all of Teen Wolf over the summer taught me that I shouldn't judge a show by it's name. So, I gave it a shot and I love it - it's soooooo addicting though so if you do start it, make sure you have enough time to get caught up on all the episodes....it will suck you right in!

Reid is the only character on Criminal Minds that if he left, the show would really lose it's appeal to me. There's been a couple times this season when Kate has challenged Reid on his knowledge and I found myself going all Mama Bear like "B*tch, you best shut your mouth about my Reid". I own all the seasons on DVD so every now and then I'll watch an early season (3-5 are my favorites) and there are a couple episodes where he tries to get one of the team to go to a museum or a play with him. With his intelligence, attending something like that with him would just be so insightful and a ton of fun.

    Awwww thanks - I think I'm fun but I admit I'm a bit biased ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  160. Thank you for posting the idea - that WAS so much FUN!!!! Look forward to discussing! I don't watch TVD but I get being in the zone of your favorite show :-)

    ReplyDelete
  161. Right? Over the last few weeks, several cities in MN were colder than Alaska by more than 20 degrees! Don't even get me started on the windchill! But tomorrow, it's supposed to be almost 40 degrees....and then 3 inches of snow on Sunday. **sigh** why do I live here?

    ReplyDelete
  162. I wanted Elizabeth Lail, she was so good at Once Upon A Time and would've made a better Supergirl.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Oh, wow. Yeah, considering how cold it was here earlier this month, that's...crazy. It was amusing talking to a couple friends of mine who live in Vegas and Georgia, they heard about the cold snap up here and kept asking, "Are you okay?!" And I'm just thinking, "It's fifteen below and yet...I've felt colder!" LOL.
And then my friend in Georgia would be talking about highs around 30 and how cold it was where she lived and I was like, "Pass that up here, people would kill for that right now! Practically light jacket weather compared to this!" :p.
Yeah, the weather in the Midwest can be very confusing. And it's only likely to get weirder as we get into March and April...hell, I'll never forget the surprise snowstorm we got on May 1st/2nd a couple years ago. My sister's birthday is on the 1st of May. She was NOT happy about that weather.

    ReplyDelete
  164. So I've heard! I know what you mean about a limited amount of episodes, but at least that means it'll be easier for people like me to play catch up! And I'm sorry to hear that about the ratings, too, especially since it seems like an inventive, creative show. Hopefully somebody at ABC will have mercy on it and give it another chance to gain more of a fanbase/viewership. Sometimes it just takes a while for a show to click-I wish more network execs would understand that.
I honestly never gave the title any thought one way or another myself, but I do remember a lot of people being wary of the concept of "Jane the Virgin". I'm glad that it's managed to prove a lot of people wrong. There've been a few shows like that in recent memory-iffy title/concept, only to wind up being a very enjoyable series. I'll add that one to my list, too-and I'll keep that in mind about it being addictive :p!
Oh, god, yes, I feel the same way about Reid. I love the team as a whole, they're all wonderful, but indeed, Reid has such a notable presence on there, and if he left, it'd be very much felt and noticed. LOL, I thought similar things when Kate challenged Reid, I was like, "Okay, I know you're new and all, but this is Reid's thing. Just nod your head, accept that he knew that, and move on." :p. I LOVED that moment when he did the little fistbump with Hotch immediately after an encounter of that sort with her in a recent episode. He takes his knowledge and facts seriously!
Seasons 2-4 are my personal favorites, so a bit of overlap there :D. But I do love season 5, too, there's some excellent episodes in that one, too. And I know! I always feel so bad for him when everyone turns down an invitation to some event he wants to attend, I'm just sitting there wanting to raise my hand and shout, "I'll go!" The stuff he wants to go to always sounds interesting, and like you said, you'd learn something along the way, and hanging out with him would just be fun in and of itself. He's such a sweet gentleman, so he'd make for a good date.
Hehe, hey, it's only natural we'd be biased to our own good traits, right? You're welcome :).

  168. Finally a little cooler in Karachi! Though it doesn't really go any lower than 11 C and that's only at night :(

  169. I did that when I was catching up with Scandal and How to get away with Murder, those two are really compatible!
Also did it with Shield and Sleepy Hollow

    ReplyDelete
  170. I remeber that, worried about Fringe's fate on its third season, I looked for multiple sites that made renewal/cancellations predictions and I stuck by with this gold mine.
I visit daily ever since and became a reviewer :)

    ReplyDelete
  171. If you submitted it, it'll be showed eventually. I submitted a question once and 7 months later it popped up. I was shocked xD

    ReplyDelete
  172. I actually never do that when marathoning, that is an interesting idea.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Same here. I still miss Lost by the way!

    ReplyDelete
  174. After years o watching Fringe I became able to eat almost anything regardless of how gross a scene is, so I eat almost anything while watching TV.
It's hard to choose, since I eat about anything while watching, but I'd say:
    -Popcorn for Scandal.
-Ice cream for Revenge (best served cold ;) )
-Chocolate for GoT and The 100 (to get through depressing moments)
    -Chesecake for TBBT

    ReplyDelete

I cannot eat anything while watching the 100 and GOT

  176. I understan that, I wasn't the biggest Clarke fan at the beginning, but her character development is incredible! From the weakest link she became one of my favorites as time went by. As she stopped being perfect and became complex she started to click with me a lot

  180. Gregory House and I would be hanging out/best buds. We're so alike, and I think we could be great comrades. We would go wherever House wanted to, honestly I don't care where.
Alex Blake and I would be roommates; I've thought about this a lot. We both love linguistics, so we would do crossword puzzles together, and drink coffee together.
My dream job would be to work with Shawn Spencer and Burton Guster at "Psych".
My nighttime activities...it's probably very bad that I'd want to be Dexter Morgan's apprentice. Oops. He better not touch my babies. It would be hard getting to Miami every night to help him out - maybe all my friends would move there with me.

What has been your favorite episode of revenge this season? Only one you can choose. For me it would have to be Abduction because it was so fast-paced, exciting and brilliant.

  183. #Lmfao Hilarious!!!!! Love the idea!

  184. I hope you do this more in the future! See, there are some times when you want to talk about something TV-related but can't find an appropriate place. So, here are two of the five questions that I will post later in the evening on another site:

    1) Hit or Flop: NBC's newly-ordered dramedy Apocalypse starring Rob Lowe and Megan Mullally?
    2) After renewing all of their fall shows, do you think that the CW is looking to experiment with the 10pm hour in the somewhat near future, and maybe even throw some comedies in the mix?

    ReplyDelete
  185. This is a permanent feature, this thread will always be available for people to discuss what they like in.

  186. I watched a lineup of Growing Up Fisher~The Goldbergs~Modern Family~Trophy Wife. Growing Up Fisher could have been swapped with The Middle but I choose to watch that show live—don't have the time for them all.

    ReplyDelete
  187. I'd probably be making out hanging out with Bolin. He's the goofball on the show and just generally all sorts of adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  188. Is anyone here watching the UK show Black Mirror? This goddamn show is terrific and horrifying.

    ReplyDelete
  189. 1) Too soon to tell, need to see trailer and timeslot

    2) No to the 10pm and maybe to the comedies but probably not so soon (no indications of that in the pilot season and too many dramas renewed)

    ReplyDelete
  190. Great Idea! I know how easy it is to get off topic or to chat about too many topics at once! This will be a good way for us to all get to know each other better!!!!! :)
