  10. She's cool but why she did the Aaliyah movie is still a head scratcher. Happy she got this role though.

  12. there's worse, have you seen CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story?

Now that one was....absurd and at some point so surreal that it turned uncomfortable. Even for a lifetime original movie

  13. Great news for Sophie and Ty (He is an amazing actor, check out Mud). Not seen Alexandra Shipp is anything so can't judge.

  14. Meh on all three accounts...

I like Sophie, but I can't see her in the part.
The guy I don't know but visually he's not clicking for me.
I have seen Alexandra Shipp in stuff but I can't say she's ever made an impression. I will say that at least from a physical POV she does sorta work. But I dunno if she doe have the chops acting wise.

  15. I remember her from that show as well! I used to love that show :)

I haven't seen the Aaliyah movie, but that movie had a negative reputation long before they cast Alexandra (I believe Zendaya Coleman was at one point attached to the lead role, which is funny because she was supposedly also in the running for young Storm).

  16. I feel the same way.. it could be that its because its younger versions of the original characters..and I'm just not feeling it.... but no matter who they'd given the roles to... I'd still be watching... I just hope they can pull it off... I do wonder who were the.........if any were the other choices that could have gotten the roles..

  17. Great female choices! But who is that dude?

  18. Zendaya should have gotten that role, it would have been nice to see her in a more grown up mature role.

  19. I´m sorry but can someone clarify for me, why they are casting younger versions of the characters? I obviously missed something.

  20. Because this film takes place 20 years before the first X-Men film, I believe.

  21. Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying. I always thought that Apocalypse would serve as a sequel to Days of Future Past.

  22. Ha didn't see that one or the recent Whitney Biopic either, everyone one of them seem to be low budget thats why they look unprepared. Now "straight outta compton" film coming out this year, that looks phenomenal. Coincidentally Alexandra is on that too.

  23. It does but takes place in the earlier time line (MacAvoy & Fassbender) not the later one (Stewart & McKellen).

  24. Thanks for clarifying.

  25. Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 1 will straight away start from the battle of Tyrion and Danaerys. The Game of Thrones Season 5 trailer closes, in fact, with a telling scene between Varys and Tyrion.
