ReplyDeleteI've had a particular hatred for SyFy after how they treated Stargate but I actually feel sorry for them at this stage. They admitted they messed up and their really trying to get back to the network they were but so far it's not going too well for them. They still have a lot of new shows to premiere though so it could still go their way.
ReplyDeleteZ Nation did well, much better than most expected. Helix might pick up next episode, well I hope at least. I am still angry with them about Cancelling A Town Called Eureka, SGU, Angel (I think that was syfy) that was left on a cliffhanger.I could go on.
ReplyDeleteI turned off Z Nation half way through the pilot but didn't it just get 0.4-0.5 the whole time like Defiance & Dominion? I did think it would do a lot worse though, like 0.3's. SGU is the one I'm forever bitter over, it's still my favourite show ever. At least they gave Eureka a final season. Angel was The WB but I dropped that too with Buffy. Helix got 0.3's last season so maybe they'll renew it again with 0.3's. Hopefully it won't go down any further though because I enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteIt got a few 0.6's as well. I would say that a 0.5 for syfy is a good result. It will take them a while to get back to their glory days since a lot of people can't forgive them after the countless cancellations made. I reviewed Z Nation and I actually really enjoyed. It was a fun take on a zombie apocalypse that was made purely to entertain you, and to not be a serious show.
ReplyDeleteHelix only got one 0.3 last season, if it gets 0.4's the rest of the season it should get a renewal. I wished Angel got a final season to wrap everything up. I also wished SGU didn't get cancelled, it was an amazing show.
Aw. But 12 Monkeys is really REALLY good. If I didn't know any better I would say that it aired on TNT or another network. Its just so amazing.
ReplyDeleteWould you look at that! H50 at the top of the list for broadcast network demo! Just announced that starting Feb. 24th, first 4 seasons will be available on Netflix. It's a very good day for H50 fans.

ReplyDeleteWhoa H50 1.4 Saturday and then 1.5 WOW! Did I read that right? So happy. Early announcement soon I can see. Netflix just purchased H50 for a syndication deal for the first 4 seasons last night so it's likely it'll happen
