  1. Jake. I'm so done with all those love triangles.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Gotta be Rowan, surely! Can't believe he isn't on the list.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Either Jake or Cyrus. Abby can die too and I wouldn't mind.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Jake and Kim, Huck 's baby mama so he can be a single dad.

    ReplyDelete
  5. The only poll Jake can win! LMAO!

    ReplyDelete
  6. That's a very biased selection. I actually like all of those characters (including Jake) for different reasons, so I would have selected "other" if that were an option. Since you are allowed up to 20 choices, I'm surprised that some of the more obvious options like Olivia's parents are not on the list. It's also strange that all of the main characters (including Olivia) are on the list, but not Mellie (not that I want her to die either...but it's just odd).

Anyway, my choices would be Rowan, Cyrus' fake husband or the VP candidate.

    ReplyDelete
  7. DITTO and I do like Jake, more than Fitz. At least he is single and is honest about killing people.

    ReplyDelete
  8. This poll is in serious need of an "other" selection. I loathe Rowan. He isn't entertaining. He isn't even a good bad guy. I just want him gone.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Wow!Jake is winning by a landslide!I've always wondered what is it about this why which transpires so much hate!Pretty much all the characters of this show is morally grey/shady,so what's so special about him,i wonder!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Jake is a useless irrelevant character. He has out lasted his time on the show like Brody on Homeland. There is no more story to tell for him so he bores me.
Rowan, Mama Pope, Mellie, Andrew and Michael should be on this list not Olivia who is the lead character.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I haven't watch the show for awhile and just read the results to know who is still there .-)

    ReplyDelete
  12. who on earth made that list...

    ReplyDelete
  13. ICAM!! In order for Olivia to every have any kind of a normal life, her father has to go!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. LOL, everything a girl could dream of.

    ReplyDelete
  15. It was actually me who submitted that poll. Initially i wanted to include Rowan as an option but then decided against it. He's not a regular on the show, so he's like an easy option to vote for because people probably expect him to be gone at some point anyway. But I wanted to see who out of regulars, people really have enough of. Only now I see that unfortunatelly I forgot to add Mellie as an option, it's an honest mistake of mine. Anyway, if you have better ideas for your own poll, you can always submit.
I voted for jake. I'm so over his presence on this show. Besides, the best episode of this season happened to be the one when he was just a few seconds on the screen.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ha, well Fitz just orders the killings, Jake does them. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Of course it couldn't be any of the main players, I would say Cyrus new husband but, they've been there and done that, so that only leaves the guy who wants to just stand in the sun Jake

    ReplyDelete
  18. When will you do the OUAT version of this? I am itching to vote in that one.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Jake needs to go away. I don't understand why he is still on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  20. That made me laugh....Our standards for Olivia's ideal mate have really dropped since season 1! LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  21. If I had to guess, I'd say that he's a threat to the Olivia/Fitz relationship (getting in the way of a romantic ship has a tendency to inspire the most hate from viewers) .If Liv wasn't involved with Jake, then he probably wouldn't inspire so much hate. As you point out, there are a lot of morally shady people on the show and Jake really doesn't top the list. I think he's just polarizing for that reason.

    ReplyDelete
  22. That would be my guess to.These love triangles destroy everything!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Nope, it is because the character has nothing to do on the show except talk about beer, Gettysburgers, sex and standing in the sun.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh, this is an easy one, Jake. And this has nothing to do with Olitz.

This is just one character that adds absolutely nothing to the show.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Quinn has less real use in the show, but I'd rather see Cyrus die over anyone else. Surprised Mellie isn't on the list. Not that I'd ever have voted for her, but it's odd she's the only series regular that isn't an option.

Edit: Oh, David's not there either xD guess I wouldn't mind if he died either.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The beer and sun talk was a very recent development. I'm pretty sure that he was very polarizing before that.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Thank you! Jake is hated because he has been shoe horned on the show and forced into every story. He diminishes Olivia and makes her look stupid while the writers want Jake to look smart. Jake is a useless piece of ish character and he should die. Jake is no real threat to Olitz. please spare me.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Girl please. Jake is no real threat to Olitz. If he was Olivia would have told Jake she loves him by now. She's only confessed love to Fitz even when Jake confessed to her, she said she wanted Vermont. So, NOPE. Just a stupid triangle to prolong the season. Jake will die or leave town before the season is over.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Man, stop with the lame excuses for Jake's uselessness. He has been talking about beer and burgers since season 2 and save me/run away with me/standing in the sun since season 3. It is not a recent development.
Maybe Shonda can do a spin off show for Jake since he has some fans. But he does not fit into the Scandal universe once B613 no longer exists. Even Shonda know this fact since on the Writers Room they talked about making him VP and realized it was absolutely ridiculous.
It would make more sense to bring back Edison since he has a legitimate role as a Senator in conflict with the White House and has a past with Olivia. He has relevance - there is that word again. I'll repeat it - RELEVANCE.

    ReplyDelete
  30. So you actually want Olivia and Fitz to end up together?

    ReplyDelete
  31. mellie is inmortal

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm still curious to know if you're a fan of Olivia and Fitz getting together. Personally, I don't care either way...None of Olivia's relationships are particularly inspiring.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Same here. He would easily be my pick at this point. I'm getting Alias flashbacks......By the time season 3 came to an end, I just wanted Sloan dead and it just wasn't happening! I have a feeling that Rowan isn't going anywhere...at least not for long

    ReplyDelete
  34. I totally agree with one exception. I may have loathed him and wanted him dead in the most painful way possible, but Sloane was at least entertaining. Then again, Ron Rifkin is one hell of an actor so I totally loved to hate Sloane. I just hate Rowan.

    ReplyDelete
  35. As someone else asked, Why is Olivia the star of the show on the list and not Mellie? Are you for real spoilertv?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Bad actor so he does not have the ability to endear himself to the fan as say evil lovable Cyrus or Tortured sexy lovable exasperating Fitz

    ReplyDelete
  37. Easy, Shonda seriously adores Scott Foley from her marathon Felicity watching days and so he went from a 9 episode arc to a series regular to now getting second billing on Scandal when he is the weakest actor on the show. It's like watching bread dry when he is on screen.

    ReplyDelete
  38. And at least Sloane's character didn't subject us to a neverending stream of pointless monologues every time he made an appearance.

    ReplyDelete
  39. This is not Spoilertv it's a poll randomly submitted by people who visit the site

    ReplyDelete
  40. I can only hope that karma comes around (sooner rather than later) to bite Rowan in the ass the same way it did Sloane. What a brilliant, beautiful, excruciating miserable existence for him. 😄

    ReplyDelete
  41. Who wouldn't want them to end up together? Olivia and Fitz became the heart of Scandal with the first episode "Sweet Baby". Olitz is to Scandal as Mer/Der is to Grey's Anatomy. They are the root for couple and anyone who thinks Olake is don't know Shonda Rhimes writing. She puts all her couples through the ringer but eventually, they will come together.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I suspect it's split down the middle among viewers, (based on comments and postings on other threads). I'm surprised you think that everyone wants Olivia and Fitz to be together., Their relationship started off great, but now it seems dysfuctional . We don't have to agree with everything Shonda Rhimes does.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I don't think you know what you are talking about. From the polls I've seen it is not a split. Olivia and Fitz wins all the time on spoilertv. Their scenes always gets voted the best of Scandal episode by a landslide. You can fool yourself and believe there is split, but a majority of the fans I've seen are rooting for Olitz to be together.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Olitz fandom is very strong, so I have to disagree about a split down the middle no matter what Shonda does to Olitz they always seem to bounce back. Jakes fans are growing though! Not mad at him. This season Shonda intentionally propped Jakes character by making him so macho now in the beginning of the season and finally standing up to Olivia when he has always been her doormat. Then he is a damsel in distress that has to be saved (once again and now poor Jake was beat up by mean Fitz-which was not in character at all or realistic for a PResident to do!), and she makes Fitz a monster because there is no other way to get support for Jake. I don't think people are falling for the contrived story lines because Fitz has never been such a jerk until Jakes character gets more air time and Olivia has never been so stupid and whiny until this season, the season of Jake.
Also, I have to agree with others that it just seems like they don't know what to do with him so he is all over the place and the story and plots are suffering. I loved his introduction to Scandal. now he's all over the place and unbearable.
Nothing about Jake and Olivia seems authentic or natural. Just kind of dropped out of nowhere. Very disjointed first half of the season. Would rather Shonda just keep Olivia with one of the men or single. She's never been so ditzy its really annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  45. When I was talking about being split down the middle, I was not referring to Fitz versus Jake. I was just referring to people who like Olitz and people who don't like them (it was in response to one of the comments above). I definitely don't think that Jake/Olivia has the same following as Fitz/Olivia.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't think those polls really take into account non-shippers......and by "non-shippers", I mean people like myself who don't ship any relationship, because they're all messed up on that show. I don't think that Mellie and Fitz make a particularly good couple either, so Olitz being "no more dysfunctional" than them isn't much of a ringing endorsement, LOL! I don't know why you keep bringing up what "Shonda says" I don't have a problem with her creating dysfunctional relationships......you do realize that it's possible to enjoy a show without necessarily rooting for a particular couple. If Olivia ended up choosing no one would that be so horrible? It would mean that she finally realizes that she deserves better.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I believe some got that from kerry on Ellen show. Kerry who is team Shonda all the way will sell whatever lie she can to promote the triangle. But Kerry don't know how hated Jake is. There is no split. Look at this poll? People want Jake dead and Olitz to be together. Jake adds nothing to the show, so his only purpose is a triangle which is sad.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Lane excuses is being too nice. lol. Jake fans are funny to me also. lol. And spin off show? Didn't Foley last show failed after only a couple of episode? He can't carry a show. He's barely a D lister.

    ReplyDelete
  49. It is sad how most fans see the bull. You are on point. Fitz beating up Jake and calling Abby a Bitch was so over the top and deliberately out of character to make him look bad. Fitz has never called any woman on the show a bitch before and a President interrogating a suspect is unheard of in real life. It won't happen, So, once again, Shonda writes non-sense to prop the useless Jake instead of just killing the POS off.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I actually like all of the characters on the list. So I'm just as much a Jake "fan" as I am a Fitz "fan" or an Olivia "fan". I suspect, however, that you are an overinvested "Olitz" fan.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Shakyira Nicole Allen3 December 2014 at 00:09

That's not a guess. It's the exact TRUTH! They are simply threatened by him

    ReplyDelete
  52. Mellie and Jake.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jake. So that idiotic, juvenile triangle can end. Enough of that bs.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Matt, I had to read your comment twice for the truth you told. I agree Jake/Olivia fans are growing and are becoming more vocal; however the question for me is if that pairing is sustainable without making Fitz look like a jerk season after season. Would that relationship be interesting on its' own without tension from outside forces ? I guess it would be okay with most fans as long as they got to see Jake take his shirt off every now and then (lol) ... but really how does that continue with the show's theme ?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Agree. If Olivia were 18 like Bella or Katniss from the young adult stories, OK, confusion is normal. Every character on Scandal is at least mid to late 30s-50s. Its juvenile to have a grown woman go back and forth.

    ReplyDelete
  56. No, I just hate the character. Ever since he joined the show, its been even more B613, dark, crap. That and he killed James. I loved James, Cry, and Ella's little dysfunctional family.

And don't give me that "for the Republic" crap. That is a line Jake fans use to feel better about a killer.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't watch the show at present and i'm not a personal fan of any of these characters TBH,but what exactly fitz appealing as a character then? He's no saint either, maybe even worse than jake if i may be so bold.Nope,i think the love triangle thingy is the main thing for this massive hatred and the actor playing the character is mediocre at best.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Only thing Jake has going for him is that he is good-looking. That's it. No talent. No charisma. No presence on screen. No purpose for the plot. Why is he still there?????? He needs to go.

    ReplyDelete
  59. So somehow you remembered to include the lead character who the show is about, you remembered to include the other main character who the main character is having an affair with, but didn't remember to include that character's wife? I call shenanigans. You deliberately left Mellie out and you should have just owned it, instead of expecting people to believe that you forgot.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Wait, what killings did Fitz order?

Fitz killed the old witch who tried to assassinate him for something he knew nothing about. He was under orders when he shot down a plane full of people. I need to understand who he ordered to be killed. Or are you talking about Mama Pope, because that wasn't that straight forward either. Please clarify.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Olitzers hate Jake for sure, but there are plenty more people who just don't understand what he adds to the show other than being the side piece to the side piece. He's a regular character who has no purpose, he doesn't stand alone, so the writers have done the most to elevate him. My main problem with Jake is that for him to resonate with the audience, the other characters have had to be dumbed down. Olivia in season three was the worst, they had to make her stupid for Jake to be a viable character. They muted her, left her voiceless, and made her into a woman who would fly into the sun with a guy who's very presence in her life was based in a lie, a guy who's mission it was to sleep with her to get between her and the president, a guy who landed her in hospital and then urged her to lie about how it happened, a guy who walled her up and choked her, a guy who threatened to kill her during her time as command.

Also, in order for Jake to be noticed, the writers made him command, after deliberating whether or not to make him Fitz's Vice President. They even went as far as filming the scene. If that's not propping up, I don't know what is.

Not to mention that in order for Jake to become a viable love interest, Fitz as a character had to be destroyed, the writers did the most, with him

    ReplyDelete
  62. He's not even good looking to me. Not my type, so that leaves nothing in his favor to interest me.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Ha, I had forgotten about Fitz killing the old woman, he got his hands dirty, so he is no better than Jake.

    ReplyDelete
  64. So the biggest issue with Jake is that people think the writers are smearing Fitz to make him look good?? So basically every time Olivia makes an ill-advised move or Fitz does something wrong, it’s not their fault it’s Jake’s fault? That seems extreme. For starters, the worst (and most out-of-character) thing that Fitz ever did was kill Verna, which happened before Jake was even introduced. What about Huck? He deviated from character more than anyone else by going postal on Quinn last season. Was that
Jake’s fault too? Are all the main characters doing bad things just to prop up Jake? I’d like give Shonda Rhimes’ more credit.

If they wanted to successfully prop up Jake’s character, there are so many other ways they could do it, like…say not having him kill Cyrus’ husband or blackmail David. Or maybe the writers “made” Jake do those things to prop up Fitz, LOL. I don’t buy the Fitz smear campaign. His character has been fairly consistent from the beginning
(excluding the Verna moment). He has his good moments and his douchey moments
just like everyone else, including Jake, Huck, Quinn, Cyrus, etc. The flawed and corrupt nature of everyone’s character has been a theme from the beginning. Also, the argument of Jake being irrelevant makes no sense especially when compared to some of the other characters…but this post is long enough…

I'm sure that there are people who don't like Jake's character for other reasons, but since most of the very negative comments are from Olitzers, I still think that the majority of hate comes from that end, especially after reading all of the “justifications”. Writers making Fitz do bad things to prop up Jake is the best one I’ve heard. Consistently rationalizing or ignoring all the flaws of one character (e.g. blaming producer manipulation), whilst villifying everything that another character does, sounds like classic shipper talk to me. Or at the very least, a double standard!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Seriously, I talk to you about how dumbed down Olivia was, and all you want to talk to me about is Fitz? Fitz was destroyed, but my hate for Jake stems from how stupid Olivia had to become in order for Jake to have any relevancy. I don't watch this show for Fitz, Fitzes are a dime a dozen, whereas there is only one Olivia Pope.

Olivia making ill-advised moves? I honestly feel like you weren't watching the show last season if you felt that Olivia was just making "ill-advised moves."

She let Jake choke her and her wall her up, and it was never addressed. She was devoid of any character consistency all season, and just became a cypher for the writers. In order for Olivia to get on that plane with Jake, she had to disregard the fact that this man was programmed by her father, was sent in by her father to sleep with her, has lied to her since their very first meeting. None of that was addressed in any real way. Olivia's character was subject to a writing room that didn't care enough about her to develop her in a way that made sense, they were all too busy trying to find ways to shock the audience into submission.

In order for Jake to be elevated, Olivia was turned into a fool, who could barely tie her own laces. I wasn't the only person who noticed how ridiculous she became in season three. This season, there's been an attempt to go back to season one Olivia, and it's no coincidence that the best episodes this season have been Jake-lite. He casts a long shadow over this show, and Scott Foley should never have been upped to a regular.

Ask yourself, why was Jake the one looking into Harrison's death instead of Olivia and her team? So Olivia can investigate random cases, but just accepts that her friend and family is gone with nary a look into his death? In what world does that make sense? In the world where the writers need Jake to have a role of course.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Fitz killed the woman who tried to have him assassinated for something he knew nothing about, the woman who murdered an innocent woman who'd had two children. Jake murdered three people, including the father of Olivia's God daughter in cold blood. That doesn't make them remotely the same people. Not in the Scandalverse.

  67. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend5 December 2014 at 02:15

So Jake is the character who elicits the strongest reaction from fans. That means he's the least likely to die. Thank you haters. He's my absolute favorite character )

    ReplyDelete
  68. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend5 December 2014 at 02:17

A woman who dates another woman's husband and calls it love is juvenile. Or a man who cheats on his wife - total scum.

    ReplyDelete
  69. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend5 December 2014 at 02:18

I think he was left off because most of us would have picked him. I didn't vote because I like the cast ensemble.

Kim is Huck's wife. There was no divorce. Kim also became a lawyer. So baby mama? nah. Oh I love love hot sexy Jzke - a great match for the beautiful Olivia.

    ReplyDelete
  71. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend5 December 2014 at 02:21

I'm so glad my bae Jake won because he's the least likely to be killed. He's the one some fans love to hate.

    ReplyDelete
  72. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend5 December 2014 at 02:23

Yeah I agree. It was designed to bring our the Olitz trolls and it did. But I think it's a great sign. I'm glad Jake won - he brings out the fans - both the lovers (me) and the haters.

    ReplyDelete
  73. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend5 December 2014 at 02:25

Oh I love Jake. I have always loved Scott Foley - great actor and I thank Shonda a 1000 times for casting him as a love interest for Olivia

    ReplyDelete
  74. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend5 December 2014 at 02:31

I think it's about Olitzers and people who should be watching reality TV. This is an amzing show that does some awesome things with the cast monologues. and to call an actor mediocre is beyond the pale and demonstrates your level of stupidity. You really do need to find another show. Geez

    ReplyDelete
  75. Oh boy. I dont' know where to start:
    1. You're so obsessed with Jake, that you've completely failed to see the main reason for Olivia's turmoil last season, which was her parents!!! The things she learned about them would have sent any sane person over the edge, Finding out that her mother was responsible for the death of Fitz son was probably the last straw. Jake had absolutely nothing to do with her partial breakdown. She saw him as a means to help her get through her pain.

    2. Olivia is a strong character, but she's not a robot. If she has a hard time dealing with a tragedy, that doesn't make her weak. That would be like saying that Mellie was weak for mourning her son's loss. I think people have ridiculous expectations for Olivia's character, and I'm not sure why. In the first season, viewers complained that she was too perfect, and everything was too effortless for her. So the writers humanized her and now viewers complain that she's weak and dummed down.
    3. Jake was hired by Fitz to spy on Olivia. At that point, Olivia was just a stranger and he was just doing a job. Fitz, however, thought it was OK to have someone spy on someone he cared about without telling her and worse, he tried to use Jake's intel to find out about the men she was dating. Between Jake sleeping with Olivia on Rowen's orders and Fitz having her watched. neither guy comes out shining, IMO.
    4. Olivia getting choked was awful, but as I recall, it was Huck who did the choking . I have a lot of issues with what the writers have done with Huck's character, but that's for another discussion. Unless you're talking about the struggle with Jake where she accidentally hit her head??? I don't remember any choking...
    5. Olivia was having an affair with the POTUS prior to meeting Jake. The poor-decision-making in her personal life was occurring way before Jake came around.
    6. I also thought it was strange that Olivia wasn't more active about investigating Harrison's death. It was clearly a plot device to get Jake involved and then framed by Rowan. But I don't think the storyline was about making Jake look good. It was about showing how dangerous Rowen could be .

    ReplyDelete
  76. Affairs arent juvenile gown ups engage in them every day. Also this show is based around the fixer being in love with the president since the beginning so if that bothers your morality level, this may not be the show for you

    ReplyDelete
  77. He choked Olivia up against the door after she slept with him to steal his phone to dismantle B613. He did it in front of her colleagues when they were about to make a toast. He also told the whole office including Cyrus and the President that he slept with Olivia. He kisses and tells but he' cute so it's okay

    ReplyDelete
  78. Olivia is made weak because she didnt investigate her brother Harrison's murder, because she believed her father when he told her Jake killed Fitz son, she is made weak because since when does OP chase after and cry over someone not calling her, she is weak, she is muted when addressing Jake but is so vocal with putting others in check ( with the exception of Mellie who calls her a whore ever other episode last season) and lastly because she is so wishy washy when she is a grown professional woman . She was never any of these things before S# and S4.

    ReplyDelete
  79. TY. Two people who weren't married fell in love. It happens in real life and in fiction. Yes, Scandal is based on the fixer being in love with the President. Some people act so brand new. Although, I do believe Fitz will divorce Mellie before he leaves office. It would be a great story.

    ReplyDelete
  80. The least likely to be killed are Olivia and Fitz...the two leads on the show. You are truly a delusional troll if you think Jake is safe. He has no ties to the show except for the triangle. He's days are numbered.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Olivia being with Jake makes her look like a chicken head. Smart women do not date guys who her father hire to sex her and men who choke them. So Olivia with Jake does make her stupid. Jake's days are numbered. He'll die a faux hero but at least he'll be dead.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I feel like I can't take anything you say seriously because your handle is "DerekMorgan'sFakeGirlfriend". This is as much attention as I can bring myself to give you. Oh well.

  83. Immabaritonehoney7 December 2014 at 13:03

Do Jake fans actually have anything sensible to say except he's "hot" or "sexy" as a guy IDGAF but he actually adds nothing to the show only if you count him professing his sexual powress as something meaningful

    ReplyDelete
  84. (I already know you're going to hate my response)
I actually do remember that scene.. However, I was so horrified by what Olivia did that I barely registered (or remembered) Jake's response. Not only did she use Jake in the worst way possible, but she brought down an important part of the country's defense system and put Fitz' life in danger. Had this been done to any other leader of B613 (aside from her father, I guess), she would have been killed, because basically she committed a form of treason and took advantage of Jake's feelings for her to do ti! In fact, if anyone else had done what Olivia did, they would have been killed. It's funny how everyone is OK with Olivia doing terrible things and treating Jake like crap, but whenever he reacts, he's this horrible person. How did you expect him to respond, given what she did? I have to give points to the person who put the video in slow motion without sound, to make the choking look even more dramatic.

    ReplyDelete
  85. You're right, I hated your response, because you basically think that Olivia trying to bring down a shadow agency who thought themselves above the law was worth choking and walling up the woman that you proclaimed to love. I didn't see Olivia trying to choke the crap out of Jake when she learned that he KILLED HER GOD DAUGHTER's FATHER, or when he landed her in hospital and got her to lie to the president.

Also, as I recall, Jake had had ample time to get Mama Pope and Dominic, and he kept telling Charlie and Quinn to wait. His non-action caused that mess way more than what Olivia did, because he'd been hesitating and pontificating so long, that Olivia's shutdown happened before he could get a clue.

Buy yeah, let's try to persuade ourselves that Olivia deserved Jake choking the crap out of her when he'd already had the opportunity to get Maya and Dominic and he didn't.
If that had been Fitz choking Mellie, no matter the justification, people would have been going in on him, and rightly so, but when Jake does it to Olivia, nobody says a word, except other black women, who can't understand why that behavior went unchecked and totally ignored.

  86. I just wish Scandal wasnt so dark now. I really hate B613, its just overkill now and stupid. If they can find something else for Jake to do without making the show so dark and outrageous, I don't mind if he stays. I miss the old Scandal and Olivia solving problems and being a boss. Don't want her crying about a man ANY man the whole episode.

  87. It doesn't continue with the show's theme. Case and point the Olivia and Jake dance off. That was just so lame and awkward for Scandal. I cringed because it was so hard to watch. That totally didnt fit the tone of the show, and since when does Olivia a woman who answers the phone with "what" and hangs up in peoples face and is this badass just want to have a dance along monologue.

  88. It was at that moment that I felt like Olivia was unraveling mentally.

  89. I voted Fitz... I truly detest his character and having him die would give the show a real change it needs IMO

  90. I prefer Fitz without shirt. Rewatch season 1 episode 6 and season 3 episode 8. Tony so sexy...

  92. Exactly!!!! The jake story line is so forced and stagnant, which is having a negative impact on the show. The same could be said for b613, Rowan, and Mellie. The writers are forcing jake, Rowan, and b613 into the story line and in the process, marginalizing the leading lady and her gladiators. It's very clear that the task Jake is carrying out could easily be carried out by the gladiators or a new, fresh, more convincing b613 command. Plus, the actor that plays Jake is just not convincing and, IMO, the weakest actor. Nevertheless, Keeping this cliche love triangle going is hurting the credibility of the show and when gone, Jake really won't be missed.
