Jason Butler Harner has landed a recurring role on Scandal, EW has learned exclusively.
Details on his character are being kept under wraps, but with Olivia (Kerry Washington) having just been kidnapped, I’d put my money on him being connected to that storyline.

ReplyDeleteHe's not necessarily connected to the kidnapping, EW is simply speciulating since his character is being kept secret. As long as it's not another love interest for Olivia, I'm cool though. A love interest for Abby however, I would so be down with.
ReplyDeleteEW "speculations" tend to be very much on the mark. Abby is in a relationship with Leo Bergen, former campaign manager for VP Sally Langston and more recently for her ex-husband Chip. I think another entertainment source speculated about someone coming onboard as a love interest for Liv. But I've looked at pics of Jason and he definitely doesn't have the right look for POCs to support a hook-up with Liv. I'm a Jalivia fan but there's no amount of contortion in my thinking that would make this actor attractive enough to make me ship him with Liv. Nothing.
ReplyDeleteShe's not exactly in a relationship with Leo, they only kissed once. Plus, Olivia is the only one who can be involved in a love triangle? It was just my wishful thinking that Abby might get more to do. But as for Jason's looks, I think he's rather handsome, unless I'm looking at a rare good photo or something xD
ReplyDeleteNo, Abby didn't only kiss once with Leo. In one of the final episodes (might even have been the midseason finale), when Abby was being interrogated by David, she implied that she had spent the night with Leo after that kiss and that they were pursuing a relationship (or that she was considering it).
