  1. Omg so heartbreaking for the Rumbelle fans but so happy Belle finally see the truth the Queen of Darkness looks awesome March 1st is such a long way so happy get to see Regina Emma and Henry look for the author so cute Henry calling Belle grandma so sad about Regina and Robin but I did like that Marion would've step aside then that happen at the end Rumple and Ursula going find the author I beginning to think that was Rumple plan along

  2. Excellent winter finale. Did not see coming that it would be Anna 's revelation and then Belle 's awakening that would ruin Rumple's plan. That shots together moment with Regina and Emma was great -- wish Henry had held off running in a little longer so we could have seen them hanging one on together. March is too far away.

  3. I loved how Henry might have found the author of the book.

  4. Good one. Best scenes for me were the two heartbreaking townline goodbyes, Rumple and Regina convo in the car, introduction of the new evil trio and the major Operation Mongoose development in the last few minutes. Good job getting me excited for the 2nd half of the season.

  5. The only thing that would have made it better is if they had the time to show us Anna punching Hans in the face.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I couldn't hear what Rumple said to Ursula does anyone mind to tell me what he said to her?

  7. Awesome midseason finale!

Watching Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff saying goodbye to everyone in Storybrooke to travel back to Arendelle made me tear up a little. I felt like they got along with everyone so well so quickly and they were a part of the family and was secretly hoping they would stay in Storybrooke and never go back to their land. Sadly, it had to happen. I'll definitely miss them so much. But at least Anna told everyone that Rumple is not who he says he is and has played them all! Go, Anna! And aww at Elsa walking her to her wedding. Beautiful dress :)

Robin/Regina saying goodbye to one another and seeing him cross the town line was just heartbreaking to watch. I have grown to love these two together and I have a feeling that they will find each other again soon :) So sad to watch Regina tore up her Storybook page with her and Robin.

I was so happy to see Belle finally open up her eyes and realize that Rumple is up to no good again. I screamed so loudly when she held up the dagger to him and commanded him to leave Storybrooke. What a badass but it must have been hard for her to do that. Amazing performance by Emilie de Ravin. And ay to Hook finally getting his heart back and no longer being under control by Rumple! I smiled so much at that CaptainSwan kiss. It was so great.

Loved seeing Regina and Emma having some shots at Granny's Diner :) And aww to Emma helping along with Operation Mongoose! That was a nice surprise.

The Queens of Darkness were a lot of fun so far! Can't wait to see them cause havoc in Storybrooke in the second half of season four! And I laughed so much when we saw that Ursula is working at an aquarium in our world XD That's the perfect job for her.

  8. Yeah, I'm already in love with Cruella. Hurry up, March.

  9. here's my little review:

I like every episode (even those silly Hook centric episodes). I loved and hated this episode but there were a lot more things i loved then hated.

The crush me with the temporary ending of OutlawQueen. Robin choose Regina and because of Ingrid, Robin was forced to leave with Marian and Roland. i loved that Regina let him go, but mad she did it too. I have faith, Robin and Regina will be back together. I'm also pissed she ripped up that page. Come on Regina have Faith.

As an Rumbelle fan, Rumple had this coming. I'm glad they finally address that "dying", coming back to life and being controlled by Zelena changed Rumple (and not for the better). Rumple really showed his true colors in that car with Regina.

Without Neal alive, that dagger is the thing he love the most. I knew that. I'm glad Belle stepped up this episode. She was a hero in this episode.

I like the quick goodbye with the Frozen folks and the quick resources in Arendelle. I didnt need to see anything, but glad they explain real quick.

I like that the house belong to the sorcerer but not convince he wrote the book. Rumple had a look on his face like he knew the author. he did say "HE".

I'm going to guess Rumple bashed Ursula and Cruella to "our world" sometime between the 1st curse breaking and killing Zelena.

I loved seeing Maleficent again, the human form of Ursula tentacles and all, and the introduction of Cruella. I smell the desperation and gin too. Cruella looked a hot mess.. in a good way. I cant wait to see what Rumple and The Queens of Darkness have planned in 4B.

I did a longer time jump. 6 weeks isnt enough. Henry needs to be 13 going on 14. Speaking of Henry, I'm glad he stepped up this episode.

    No one died. Thank God!

The second half of the season seem to be focus on finding the author and Heroes VS Villains.

I'm guessing we will lose some heroes and villains in the 2nd half.

  10. Oh, if I had one nitpick, it'd be Anna stopping at the very last second and being all, "Golly gee, who is this Mr. Gold guy?!?!" as a way of exposing Rumple to the gang. Silly. But Belle's awesomeness more than makes up for that.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It was an absolutely fabulous episode, I was so proud of Belle it was like she saw the wizard and got a brain, she was ultimately the hero, sad for Regina to have to let Robin go, as Emma told her she did do the right thing I felt sad for her anyway, I'm so happy Hook, has his heart back, I'll only mention Gold kinda got to me pleading to Belle, he deserves what happened to him, but coming back with the treacherous three is going to be amazing, downside we have too wait all the way till march to see the next adventures, good closure to the Anna and Elsa arc, Henry didn't let his mom down good for him!!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. I thought the Rumple and Rumbelle was good... ppl who like them should be proud of that

I just found other bits so rushed to be honest, Frozen goodbye, Hook and his heart, less of Emma, and Emma/Hook just rushed but guess overall they are the couple along with Snowing that are together.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I cried. Im not ashamed i cried with Regina and Robin's goodbye!. I BLAME EMMA!

    YAS, BELLE YAS!

  14. Loved the great ending to the Frozen storyline. Now I can't wait for the next story to start come March. The writers of this show are the best because they just keep coming up with new and interesting stories.

    ReplyDelete
  15. they have two stops to make, he said to ehr abut "the author" of the book and that they can make their happy endings happen

    ReplyDelete
  16. Now "my" Rumple lost all, he deserve it (yes, it's the true, although I love him). I'm very sad for him and now can't wait to see what happen in 4B.
Again: no one could play this 2 characters Rumplestiltskin/Gold so perfect as Carlyle does.

    ReplyDelete
  17. LOL how awesome would it be if WERE Merlin they mentioned Camelot again after 2 years, very long time since we heard it so yeah why put it now? so yeah it's very conceviable

    ReplyDelete
  18. the thing i don't get why is she in New York and not Storybrooke, wouldn't she have been swept up in the Curse

    ReplyDelete
  19. She was probably in a curse free zone like Cora. Also I don't think Ursula is from the Enchanted Forest so this maybe that's why she isn't there, she has to be from somewhere where Ariel is from, like in The Little Mermaid, at least that's my idea :) we shall find out in March :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Oooooh. This was a great episode. Is it March yet? Poor Regina, AGAIN! But I see where the writers are going with #OutlawQueen. Looking forward to epic reunion - which I'm sure will happen. After all, Robin did choose Regina in no uncertain terms and with Marian's support. They'll find each other again. No borders have ever been forever on this show.

Love this new twist with Gold powerless in New York - a sure tie-in with Robin being across the line, too. They are bound to cross paths. Also, liking this new-found library and the AUTHOR'S HOUSE. Now everything is going to tie into that as Gold has apparently intruded on Operation Mongoose as well. Cannot wait to see what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  21. but why would show work in that kind if job instead of being some big-wig in the city weird well until March 1 damn that is very log

    ReplyDelete
  22. honestly it's like four new Big Bads, gold included in that now

    ReplyDelete
  23. RIGHT?! and also the wedding

    ReplyDelete
  24. She is Ursula, she has a connection to the aquatic environment (she is half octopus) and probably stayed out of sight, waiting for her moment to reign victorious, I suppose as any villian would do. It's going to be a long wait.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I don't think this is the end of Robin and Regina's story either. Hopefully in seeing Gold's downfall, Regina will realize the importance of doing what is right even if it costs you personally. If only Regina hadn't told Gold about Operation Mongoose then Gold wouldn't have the leverage to force Malificent, Cruella, and Ursula to join forces. Who knows what kind of destruction this evil team will bring to Storybrook. It's now a race between the heroes and villians to find the Author.

    ReplyDelete
  26. isn't Henry 13 or !4 now after season 3

    ReplyDelete
  27. come on you know The Author won't be that easy to take down he basically created millions of lands

    ReplyDelete
  28. I also expected more when it came to Emma returning Hook's heart. Guess I was hoping for a grand, sweepingly romantic moment between them. It was heartbreaking to see Belle realize her husband's quest for power will always be the most important thing in his life. Then she had to confront Gold and force him over the town's line because he had become that much of a threat to no only the people in Storybrook, but also those in the real world. I must say that the way this scene was written for Belle was pitch perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  29. He has a lot of place where to hide.
I dunno i have a feeling that this author will be a future Henry. something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  30. This show is gotten to the point where I just don't care what happens to
the characters because the characters actions on the show have no
believability and creditability. The actors do a superb job acting the
written parts, but the written parts are just so badly written, the
writing makes no logical sense and so many random contradictory choices
are made that the audience just would not make.

    Rumple is so
hilariously evil going after the author for a happy ending, he clearly
did not want to be a good guy and have a happy ending in storybook with
Belle someone who loves him more than any other, someone he clearly does
not love nearly as much, otherwise he would have been too busy loving
her and would not have had the time to have been such a bad guy and got
into so much trouble and tried to change things at everyone's expense.

    Regina
is even more hilariously evil going after the author for a happy ending
which she already stole from someone else then lost when that
someone was saved, since she essentially wants to force someone to love
her that loves someone else more. I don't care if she succeeds in her evil goal or not, nor do I care what happens to her. Nor do I care what happens to Rumple or any other character.

It would not be surprising if
Regina and Rumple see the author at the same time and the author says they are their own cause of their own unhappiness and there is nothing to be done about that and
Regina and Rumple's happiest ending is as evil lovers doing evil things to
other people just like they have been doing all along.

But again, I could care less, I would be just as
happy if tonight was the series finale, the writing is so bad it just
does not matter any more, what happens to the characters does not
matter, I guess that is the point, and why there are so many viewers,
because the writing is such nonsense that nothing is predictable, and a
show that does not matter cannot disappoint.

I thought the show was going to be the next Lost or Fringe, but it has become a show that is funny because it is so badly written. It is just something to watch and laugh at if nothing else is on.

    ReplyDelete
  31. OMG. You're right. Didn't even think about it as a race. But of course!! This is going to be so exciting.

    ReplyDelete
  32. no he 12. the show is in early 2013

    ReplyDelete
  33. it was about a year ago during whole fake Excalibur

    ReplyDelete
  34. I did NOT expect Belle to do what she did to Rumple. I'm sorry but the mere act of sacrificing your happy ending to save someone else moves you out of the villain column and into the hero column. I'm not gonna rant about that too much cause it feels like that's where the show is heading. And I'm glad for it. Loved Regina's story tonight. Really didn't expect Belle to take the blinders off. Rumple taking the bus to find Ursula. awesome. Glad we were given the end of the Arondale story. The Evil Queens story looks like it is going to be awesome. It's been a log time since I've been this pleased with Once Upon A Time.

    ReplyDelete
  35. oh yeah my bad forgot about that LOL, then yeah it could definitely be Merlin

    ReplyDelete
  36. oh wow then these guys have to time-jump like 2 years then LOL, Jared is growing faster then Barry can superspeed LOL

    ReplyDelete
  37. would like that if it were true? it would be insanely awesome

    ReplyDelete
  38. if you kill the "Dark One", you become the Dark One, this is the curse. But never forget: you can always have a good heart, everyone comes dark, when you've the "owner" from the dagger, "kill" the previous Dark One, was it always; before Zoso and Rumplestiltskin were many other Dark Ones

    ReplyDelete
  39. given my record with spelling I had to double check my spelling.

A wall sconce; the light fixtures that are attached to the walls. The thing that Henry pulled to open the door to the library. The common way to open a hidden door in old moves was either a fake book on a book shelf or a wall sconce. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Author gonna be eating a sandwich when they find him Lol. Do we know if he has been on the show before??

    ReplyDelete
  41. Agreed about Carlyle. I absolutely think Rumple had it coming, but was glad he wasn't "killed". A large part of why I watch this show, is because of Robert Carlyle. He's just perfect in the role of Rumplestiltskin. I have no doubts, he'll be back in Storybrooke in no time, and with a vengeance.

    ReplyDelete
  42. actually 4 villains, you've right, because Rumple has now really nothing to loose, he lost Neal and now Belle (his own fault, sorry, although (yes mention it too much) he is always my favorite.
What I'm exited about: in the promo, Regina has the dagger (seems), fotos from filming episode 13 you can see Belle and Hook with the dagger, so if they can command Rumple, have him under control, can he be bad?

    ReplyDelete
  43. can't you kill a Dark One only, if you become the new Dark One, is the curse of this dagger, or misunderstood I something in all the years?
Vengeance: he has now nothing to loose. Belle is his own fault, Neal not (mean the death, not the moment he was a coward to go with young Bae). But what I'm not sure (wrote a few seconds before up): as long he has not the dagger, he can do nothing.
First time I'm a little devasteted that for him (seems) it will give a no happy ending.

    ReplyDelete
  44. oh and forget: without Carlyle/Rumplestiltskin/Gold would be boring LOL.. he always was my favorite actor (since many years) but here, I think is his best performance ever.

    ReplyDelete
  45. That was a great final! so much better than 3x21-3x22 because it focused on almost everyone (except Snow/David....).

Marian was the best even if I was a little mad that she just accepted it like that, she was the bigger and better person so good for her. Lana Parrilla shows again how much of a great actress she is. Because even if I don't particularly like OQ, she was so good in those scenes.

Rumple and Belle scenes were heartbreaking but sadly he deserved it. Belle was really brave.

The Rumple/Regina scene was brilliant. It always is with those two amazing actors ;) It's a shame that it was their ONLY scene in S4A. Because damn, those two characters just WORK together.

I'm so glad that the Frozen stuffs is over. I liked it but it was too much of them. I'm way more excited about the Queens of Darkness ;) (their sass duel with Rumple was everything :p)

Emma and Regina becoming drinking buddies is everything I ever wanted :p This scene and the one with Henry in the library were the best. Those 3 are always going to be my favorite thing about Once. So I can wait for more of that and operation mongoose :)

Damn, 3 months is going to be looooooooooooooong :(

    ReplyDelete
  46. Awesome episode and very interesting ending. But why the hell did we need to say goodbye to the Frozen cast, out of all guest stars they were my favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Shut up please.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Loved it. I'm proud of Belle. She finally knows the truth and I do not blame her on her decision.
Also they HAVE to do a Frozen spinoff because I'm going to miss Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff so much! I would've of liked to see the wedding!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I wouldn't care about an Once upon a time without Rumple tbh! Him, Regina, The charmings, Hook, Belle are the heart of the show and what this is all about! We need this ups and downs from the heroes and villains! they are "humans" after all and that is what the show is about imo

    ReplyDelete
  50. what you said about Hook is perfect and just how I feel! I love everything about the ep, the roller-coaster of emotions BUT Hook they revolved Hook's arc didnt please me. I mean we needed more from that couple! it was disappointing :/

    ReplyDelete
  51. very great episode: Me devasted for goodbye forever Rumbelle and now he must hate her & he wants maybe to kill her but I'm gonna survive. I cried so much the flashback was perfect worth being the last Rumbelle momemt ever. I love Ursula she's thin yea but sooooo good Evil. Maleficent as well. Love her cows. SwanQueen Operation Mangoose together yay! Loved how Emma cheered Regina up. Emma knows how to be "evil" too and where to hit to cheer her Regina up :D. CaptainSwan was sweet & OutLawQueen a written drama poem, loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  52. So happy that Belle stood up to Rumple and that damn douchebag got his just desserts. He should spend the rest of the season trying to make it up to Belle and prove himself to her again, but I doubt it, he's gonna be working with Maleficent&Co. Eh, idiot. That's not what Neal died for, asshole. I'm sad that Regina is sad, and I'm also sad that I still have to deal with Hook being alive. Eh, the writers clearly don't like me.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oh, right. That wouldn't have ended well. Oops.

    ReplyDelete
  54. oh yes, you wrote so well about the Rumbelle-scenes, I'm sad too. And when he walked on NY's streets, "heartbroken", I've remember myself, what he said as Rumplestiltskin to Belle (when she asked him why he saved her): if someone crush your heart, it will be me. Hope will never come true and have the little hope/faith that is always a little good in him (always my hope about "my" Rumple)

    ReplyDelete
  55. The first half of the episode was boring, but the second part of the episode was awesome. So I guess I'll go with good.

Belle standing up to Rumple has to be the highlight of the episode

    ReplyDelete
  56. can someone explain me, because I can't understand: neither Robin nor Rumple lost the Memory, after they have crossed the line. Why? I think I've missed something :-(
2nd curse when they came back from the Enchanted Forest (S3B) or Ingrids curse changed something?

    ReplyDelete
  57. the only explanation i see is that Robin, Marian and Roland escaped the first curse : Robin stayed in the EF with Roland and Marian was supposed to died a long before Regina cast the spell and the crossline is one of the effect of the curse. But i can't understand for Rumple, maybe the fact he's already gone through the line keeps his memory safe now.

    ReplyDelete
  58. thank you. Perhaps you've right. I hope they explain it in 4B..and perhaps what Rumple made the 6 weeks, how he went to NY

    ReplyDelete
  59. Memory loss was effect of FIRST CURSE. Snow White casted second curse so se made rules of her rules. There was no memory line after second curse was broken.

    ReplyDelete
  60. thank, ok I understand

    ReplyDelete
  61. I forgot to add, that now is just a cloaking (Snow Queen's) spell, exact the same like Belle casted on Storybrooke in s03e07. Cheers.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Awesome episode but slow, I expected much more action, but it´s just setting this for the second part of the season which looks awesome too. Best part were the flashbacks.
I don´t understand something, can someone answer me please? The Snow Queen died, so all her magic should have dissapeared, Marian´s spell wore off but the ice wall and her cloaking spell didn´t?

    ReplyDelete
  63. again thanks :-)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Whatever your after, the game is rigged the villians never win.

Let's start with the Frozen storyline. They went back in Arendelle, and the scene with Anna in wedding dress is a few days/weeks later, right? Also, I wish they showed Kristoff in wedding clothes.

The Regina/Robin situation is now really messed up. I guess Robin will come back with Rumple, but I heard the actor isn't filming anymore because of other obligations. And, why were Will and some of the dwarves at the town line? I still don't understand why Will joined this season. Hopefully, we'll se more about him in the next half.

The scene with the hat in the clock tower was trully amazing. I know it's sounds stupid saying this, but I wish Belle didn't ruined the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  65. thanks I do still hope Rumbelle can be back but don't think so. :(

    ReplyDelete
  66. what would I do without Carlyle in OUAT :-(

    ReplyDelete
  67. I would preffer that version of Ursula's costume, not actress, but I can understand that she is a goddess - she can do anything - and she stood on ground.

    http://labellemelange.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/slide_17953_248693_large.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  68. No. There was a DELETED scene, that Gold explains to Emma and Elsa that magic never dies.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqtbUV4sV7o

    ReplyDelete
  69. then why did Marian un-freeze?

    ReplyDelete
  70. IDK... Maybe her heart re-activate freezing spell? IDK.

    ReplyDelete
  71. The second half of the ep was pure delight. And here I was baking my had at the trio of Queens of Darkness...how mistaken was I. Love the new additions. And Victoria Smurfit's voice is so dreamy...anyone knows is it her regular one, lol?

And Rumple finally got what he deserved. And at the hands of Belle no less. AND!!! We need to talk about that ending with blank storybooks, yay Henry! Emma's in :')

    ReplyDelete
  72. + I wish they showed Cruella & Maleficent in our world. By the way, how the trio ended up in Manhattan?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Marian was frozen by the Snow Queen, so when she died, her magic disappears. The ice wall was still there, because Elsa made it.

    ReplyDelete
  74. it was much better than I thought it would be. They resolved the Frozen storyline with happy endings really quickly, but the rest of the episode's storylines obviously needed more attention. I wasn't expecting Belle to do what she did to Rumple (even though it was well deserved!). Itll be interesting to see the villains come together and learn how they ended up working together in the first place

    ReplyDelete
  75. Good episode but not great like the episode The Fall. They tried to cramm too many things within 42 mins. The rumple storyline was resolved way too quickly and abruptly.I really would have loved to see the sisters defeat hans & anna's wedding but i think the time constraint didn't permit that. The flashback wasn't that great either,i expected a more grand entry of the villain trio. The most disappointing aspect of the peisode was how they resolved the whole robinhood-marian-regina triangle thingy.I hope we will get to see more of robinhood in future. That being said, this episode also had some great scenes-I loved the ending, the final belle-gold confrontation, henry finally finding the author's home,hook-emma reunion scene, elsa and anna final goodbye scene from storybrooke, all the scenes featuring regina(Lana is such an amazing actress)!
I can't wait for the next one although the wait till march is going to be rough!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I felt so bad for Regina! Why not just title every finale as, this is the new way we are going to cut Regina's heart out! Anyways, I am rooting for the idea of Regina being pregnant! I want to see it!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well the gauntlet was random as f*ck. And Belle apparently can teleport stealthly, or borrowed an invisibility cloak (Harry Potter coming?).
But the biggest plothole is that when she ordered him leave he didn't just go to Arrendale. In the exact same vein he sent Anna there without the dagger....
So I voted poor. Awful I reserve for such abominations as the warewolf episode.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Wasn't Maleficent killed by Emma at the end of season 1?

    ReplyDelete
  79. wellll, compared to what some teens get up to in small towns spending most of a day roaming around an empty mansion isn't a bad thing. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  80. I guess she killed the dragon, but Maleficent survived, because we saw her later in a different form (when Hook had a fight with the monster).

    ReplyDelete
  81. I forgot about that. Not a surprise because it's so lame and nonsensical.
Anway it brings forward another plothole. Why wasn't she there when they got back to the Enchanted forest?

    ReplyDelete
  82. Not a Rumbelle fan. But what a scene of Belle and Rumple on the townline - it was needed and it was such impact.
Emma giving his heart back - the way she did it lol. And the kiss (i so hope there is more to come for this the aftermath - she nearly lost him and WHY he had his heart taken and the hand business)
Also Rumple controls Hook in the diner whilst speaking to Emma, this scene was so great due to how Colin performed with Rumple's mannerisms and so on AND Hook broke through the spell and control Rumple had him in to give Emma a kind of warning that he is not ok, something is wrong... when he grabbed her wristed and was shaking... that was a huge deal!!! His love for Emma broke it through even for a second...

    ReplyDelete
  83. Right Jared is 14 playing 12.. smh.. there need to be a major time jump ASAP

    ReplyDelete
  84. honestly no one would believe that Jared is 12 he has too much of a deep voice for 12 year-old and he's very tall too, they're lucky he didn't go through puberty during the Neverland arc since they can't age there

    ReplyDelete
  85. is that a first?, Hook being able to do that? i don't remember anyone else being able to do that, even Will couldn't stop himself from wanting to kill Alice when cora had his heart before Alice got it back for him
