  2. One of its most intense episodes in a long time. Loved Quinn this episode and Carrie got a chance to be a badass again.

  3. Probably my favorite episode of the series. Shame we can't manage to sustain such intensity more frequently.

Very upset over Fara's death... :(

  4. Well, Quinn is in full Jack Bauer mode, it should be VERY interesting. Loved the episode.

  5. Great episode with lots of heart-stopping action--and maybe the only show on TV that gets the geo-political quagmire of the Middle-East right. It's something you can't walk away from...but any sense of winning is undermined by the sacrifices in lives and moral compromises that must be made.

Quinn (and now Carrie) are on a mission to save lives of Good People (our Assets) who have been put in danger when Lockhart made his "Sophie's choice." The last two episodes of the season hold out the hope that those Pakistanis who are not anti-American will make their Right Choice and help the badly outnumbered Quinn and Carrie to save the lives of our Assets.

Finally, I doubt very strongly that Homeland will end a second season in a row with a Major Death (Quinn or Carrie); that sort of we-gotta-kill-somebody mentality is more Game of Thrones than Homeland.

  6. I know it felt like a while, but two weeks ago wasn't that long ago. ;-)

  7. The look of disgust on the ambassador's face when she sees her husband didn't kill himself is just priceless! Fara's death will add more fuel to the fire that's already burning in Quinn's mind. Unleash the beast, dude! I'm sorry that her death didn't hurt at all. To me, anyway. It will be important for all the characters.
This hour made my heart really pounding. Can't wait for next episode! Welcome back, Homeland.

  8. Can we just throw an Emmy at them already

  9. Everyone. The whole cast. The writers. The directors. Just everyone. Literally everything was absolutely top-notch in this episode.

  10. Amazing how Homeland can deliver its worst episode and then after another two episodes, deliver its strongest set of episodes to date (in the last 3).

  11. Actually, SOA deserves to win all the major awards, next year

  12. Actually, Homeland deserves that more, though there are other series that are more deserving than either of them.

  13. Well there's Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire. Other than that, there's nothing

  14. Thrones, Yes... Fargo, F YES... I also think that Season 4 of Shameless should be in the running, it was pretty brilliant, but that will never happen

  15. Beautifully done but very sad about Fara. She was a great, silent character.

  16. I agree with this 100%
