Paul Wesley will put on the director's hat for the 11th episode, titled "Woke Up With a Monster", which is slated to air when The Vampire Diaries returns from a brief holiday hiatus in January 2015.

    IMO Paul did very well directing last season so this should be good. I'm kinda surprised Ian and Nina haven't also asked to direct an ep this season tho, they both made it sound like they wanted to at Paley.
