  1. Good quality episode, but I wish they would address what McGarrett just went through. It's frustrating that we never get to see the aftermath of the big, emotional episodes. Love the show though! I really wish more people would give it a chance. It has such a great cast!

  2. I know, right? It makes me feel like nothing ever happened and that cuts deep into the episodes' realistic aspect.

  3. I agree. Lots of show have a similar issue I find to. They have something major like that kidnapping and beating happen to a character and next episode boom character is back at work, healthy and never mentions a word of it and little to no concern is shown for them. Not that I want shows to focus on the traumatic things every single episode but an occasional reference to their time off to recover or a "hey how is it really going with you honestly?".

  4. I appreciate that they finally wound up what happened with Catherine. But I agree, these guys heal way too quickly with no down time, no physical therapy, no scars, no psych evals, nothing. I'm just waiting for McGarret to crack with severe PTSD from all the torture he's gone through, Special Forces or not.

  5. Its not just McGarret, Danny killed a man and his brother was killed but apart from one scene with steve it hasnt been mentioned.

  7. Liked the episode, but the stuff they told about Cath is total bullshit. Knowing the character for the last 4 years, seeing how she was with Steve and always being there for him, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY she would do that to him. She loved him too much. The writers are going downhill with this show!

  8. Agreed. Having Cath stay in Afghanistan was a cheap cop out.

  9. As much as I love her I rather she died. At least then it would have been believeable and we could have closure.

  10. I think Steve should stop picking up relatives at the airport, there's always some suprises there ;-) !! Btw, I love McG funny side!

  11. And not to mention the building explosion last season. Danny was still recovering and was going to Physical Therapy so they at least mentioned something after that.

I agree it's a shame I thought Deb would be asking about the scars on his forehead

  12. I thought it was a good standalone episode loved the twists and turns in between thought it was Tai's mother and then it just went back and forth finding out it was a suicide for the mother to give the money to her kids was interesting but felt bad about the boys having to find out the truth soo sad.

And I have to agree with the whole aftermath with Wo Fat thought something would've mentioned like Deb asking about the wounds on Steve's head really? But was happy they mentioned what Cath was up to and they have found the boy but I'm happy there's closure that she decided to stay to save the family but hopefully eventually she'll come back and visit but I don't think it'll be anytime soon

  13. Plus poor Grace. I mean how many times is that poor kid going to be kidnapped or exposed to violent murder scenes before she needs serious couch time, but every time we see her, she is a cheerful little cheerleader.

  14. I noticed that too.

  15. The case of the week was decent and the culprit was kinda expected. The real problem with this show is that they don't ever follow up any big event aftermath.Same case happened with danny, now it's happening with steve. Why not include one or two conversations about it,it'll help a lot with the continuity.A lot of CBS shows are currently struggling coz of this very issue.CBS has this weird obsession towards non-serialized pattern of storytelling and it needs to stop ASAP.Anyway, moving on.The wedding at the end was beautiful as expected.Cliche but nice.I have no idea why kono was not present at the wedding though,it made zero sense.I absolutely hated the explanation they have for katherine. That was a total cop-out of the part of the writers. They had no idea what to do about the character and now they have made it worse by giving an absurd explanation which was totally uncharacteristic of katherine. She would never do that to steve,in a sane state at least.
I love the show and the cast & crew even more but they need to up their game to stay afloat. There are too many good shows out there now.

  16. Kono was at the wedding. She was in the front row at the other end. They showed her dress when the camera was showing the crowd and the marrying couple. It was white with flowers on it

  17. They didn't actually show he face though which was funny...it was always hidden..this could have been filmed when Grace was in Vancouver with her family..you never actually see her face..

I am not the biggest Steve fan. As one of the few due to his arrogance and controlling ways. But really Steve is getting to be more in depth. As he misses Catherine and plus Deb seems to be the only woman that Steve trusts. In the family that is. As really he doesn't trust his mother. Hopefully that will come to wrap up his mother Doris. And his PTSD!

  19. The only possible justification that just occurred to me is that the CIA or someone may have turned her into an asset in the region for intelligence gathering seeing that she already had a big in with the people there and major mojo in carrying out recon missions.
