  1. Why December 8? Are they planning on running it through the holidays or something?

  2. 4 episodes in a row? Should I be worried?

  3. Ugh. I was hoping it would replace the McCarthy's at 9:30 on Thursday to shore up Elementary more.

  4. They're encore episodes which means they are repeats.

  5. not a surprising timeslot, but im surprised they aren't bringing it back january 5th. i know its a full season but cbs sitcom ratings always rise in january (i assume some combo of people getting caught up during the winter hiatus and no competition from the voice/dancing with the stars?) and it would be weird momentum wise to air two episodes, go on winter hiatus, then return. but not complaining - glad to have the show back, im watching it as i type this to catch up!

  9. No, they probably just want to be able to finish it within the regular season. There are 19 Mondays available in 2015 (excluding the NCAA Monday in which the regular lineup is preempted). If they air 2 episodes of Mike and Molly in 2014 and run it in all available 2015 Mondays, that's 21 episodes aired. Then they just have to do a one hour season finale and everything fits.

2 Broke Girls can also do away with just one repeat since it has already aired 4 episodes and is presumably airing another one next week. It will therefore have a 5 episode advantage over Mike and Molly. So if it were to air in the 20 weeks Mike and Molly is airing it would do 25 episodes. That's one too many since they have a 24 episode order. That means a repeat elsewhere and everything fits.

  10. I was also expecting a January premiere but they probably didn't want to double it up three times which it would require for it to air entirely in season. At the end of the day though, this is probably not the type of show for which it matters terribly.
