Jem and the Holograms, the classic cartoon from the 1980's is set to receive a reboot in comic book form. Pictured above are the new looks for Jem, Kimber, Aja and Shana as designed by Ross Campbell. Issue #1 is set for release in March 2015. A movie is also scheduled for release sometime in 2015.

    I know they can't really stick to the 80's style.. but, I'm horrified. It's My Little Pony all over again. :(

    Ugh...

    While I like the concept...I dunno how I feel about the modern designs.
    The original had a touch of class while still being outrageous. These just feel like Jem meets Nicki Minaj.

    If they toned down the hair slightly I wouldn't be so mortified.
