  5. The Flash didn't adjust for the 1st time!

  7. Dang, I expected the finals to be a little more interesting.

  8. since there is no new total number of viewers I don't think the chart has been updated yet. This is interactive and updates as numbers come in.

  9. Me too, I think 1.4-1.5 would be great numbers for it on the CW.

  10. at least faking it went up a tenth from last week!

  11. Happy Chicago Fire didn't adjust down.

  12. It's frustrating to see a show get better every week while the ratings continue to decline. S1 is going up on Netflix in about a week but it is too little and too late.

  13. PoI writers, you're blowing it. Big time. Get it together or the show is toast, and you'll have no one to blame but yourselves.

  14. the show might just live to see another day, NO WAY Disney won't be hot to build on the phase 3 momentum Age of Ultron is going to start

They just need to adjust their promotional strategy and storytelling structure. Retooling is always an option here.

    Age of Ultron - Epilogue: Season 3 episode 1 - 11
in the season 2 finale we see Bobbi die, in the season premiere the team still grieves for their loss and at the same time try to contain the tech virus Ultron spread. Unbeknown to them Bobbi has been infected with the same virus during her death. Creating Alkhema, a sadistic creature hellbent to create her own race of robos (actual comic book plot). During the season we see episodes of the agents tracking down her allies, defeating infected humans, stop HYDRA from taking advantage of the situation and quite some stuff in the wake of the destruction Ultron left. In the mid-season finale Bobbi regains part of her memories and eliminates herself to stop that virus from spreading

    Civil War - build up: Season 3 episode 12 - 22
as the team is approached by the goverment to help them track down meta humans and register them the team follows orders at first. But soon the question arises: to what end? What would the goverment do with all that information? The team is split in two factions: those helping the goverment and those trying to stay one step ahead of the rest to help the meta-humans flee the registration. Ultimately it becomes obvious that they all walk a grey line and aren't morally above anyone, thus not having the right to register meta-humans. This common conclusion happens in a stand-off, in wich (for once) nobody dies.

    Doctor Strange - parallel storyline. Season 4 episode 1 - 11
as a young boy called Kylian Kell attracts media attention because of suffering from a sickness no one seems to be able to cure the team comes in to take control of the situation. As the boy is drastically aging and starts to speak for other "beings" it appears to look like a possesion. Ultimately the reveal that the old nordic gods, bodyless alien beings, took control of Kylans body and now attempt to use him to make huamnity worship them again the team needs to battle a demonic looking Kylian and his ritualistic, fanatic followers.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - build up Season 4 episode 12-22
episode 11 ends on a positive note, the villain is defeated and all is well. But Skyes father returns, vowing to show her the truth, he uses a device that forces every teammember to go unconcious. As Coulson awakes he finds himself not where he used to be...on a different planet altogether!
Now Coulson must race from planet to planet, finding his team and stop Skyes father from his dark plan: to terraform a planet inhabited by innocent beings to fit his needs to rebuild his race.

    Thor: Ragnarok - Epilogue Season 5 episode 1 - 11
Back from space the team has to realize that their return caused more damage than good: dimensional cracks were created, unfortunately these cracks not only lead to abnormities and need to be closed but also the midgard snake, a a giant ancient and powerfull alien serpent is threatening to come through one of the cracks. The team has to close the source of the cracks before earth is devoured by the giant, planet eating creature.

    Infinity War - build up epispde Season 5 12 - 22
little did the team know: the object that caused these cracks and is now split into pieces were part of the reality gem. One of the many infinity gems able to complete the infinity gauntlet. Black Dwarf, one of Thanos generals is sent down to earth to find the splinters. Obviously our heroes attempt to get a hold of the gem before Black Dwarf.

if they did it like that and went with the MCU this show would probably live longer than expected.

  15. The writers are doing a great job, I think this ratings is another problem, see both NCIS suffer major drops too.

    ReplyDelete
  16. WHAT? how sad SPN only got a .09 come on last years Eps have done better then this year and season 9 sucked I was thinking the rating was going too be great because of its 200th Ep but a .09 sad.

    ReplyDelete
  17. AoS - Certainly higher ratings would be nicer, but it is by no means in danger of cancellation. Plus it's one of the most watched shows on Hulu and rented on Netflix. Season 3 is coming...

    ReplyDelete
  18. I am so happy for The Flash. I hope it stays steady through out the season.

Damn it AoS and PoI. Two great shows who is not getting their due. I want to throw something. At least AoS won't get cancelled. I think it's time to decide an end date for PoI so that we can wrap this show nicely. I want a good conclusion to this show.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Person Of Interest...NOOOOOOOOO...
    Someone ease my troubled mind....

    ReplyDelete
  20. Absolutely. It may be in vain, but I hope that Daredevil arriving on Netflix in May 2015 will help AoS do well there and possibly attract some new eyeballs come Season 3. Age of Ultron also comes out that month, so the sheer amount of MCU buzz will be huge.

  21. I was told there was a Law & Order + Chicago Fire crossover going on, which might be responsible for this enormous drop. I sure hope it's bouncing up next week, since 1.3 is indeed worrisome

    ReplyDelete
  22. Seriously? Have you actually been watching the show this season or just reading comments cause the show has never been better. Since midway through Season 3, PoI has made a remarkable upturn in all aspects. The best explanation for the loss of viewers is because the show is becoming more serialized. Well their loss. If they wanna watch procedurals, they have 2 hrs of NCIS before PoI to indulge in!

  23. My friend, you can say that till you're blue in the face, but that doesn't make it fact. It only makes it your opinion. And clearly, your opinion is not shared by all. If it were, the ratings wouldn't be in freefall.

And yes, I have been watching, thank you. Most likely I'll watch until the end. But if something doesn't change, and fast, the end may be a lot nearer than both you and I would like.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Have to agree that the show has not been great so far this season. The ratings, however, are still more than good enough to get it renewed...

    ReplyDelete
  25. AoS won't get cancelled, but it could get shunted to Netflix... I absolutely adore the show - I just don't get why the ratings aren't better...
