Hey all,

We enter the penultimate day of the competition, and we have our four semi-finalists. Congratulations to Castle, Supernatural, The X Files (our only remaining non-seeded show) and Outlander for being the final four. You have 24 hours to vote for your show to try and reach that final.

The match-ups are: Castle vs. Supernatural (in a repeat of last year's final) and The X Files vs. Outlander.

Share the polls, tell all your fellow fans. Only two can go through to the final, so do your utmost to help your show get there.

Reminder of the rules:

1) Two shows will go into battle in a poll, where after exactly 24 hours, the leading show will win the battle and will progress into the next round.
2) Vote for your favourite, spread the word with your friends & fans.
3) Comment on what you voted for on in the comments below.
4) Have fun. This is a friendly & competitive competition. Please do not start attacking other fans or fangroups in the comments, because this really isn't what this competition is about.

    Supernatural and XFiles without question for me. I dropped Castle when Beckett and Castle got together and Outlander is good but it's only had 8 episodes. That's not enough for me to vote against a classic like The X-Files.

    It's based on the first book of a series of eight (books). This first book was published about 25 years ago. So there already is a very huge fan base.

    OUTLANDER! Seriously! I have never seen a better adapted series from a book. It's true to the spirit of the book, if not always the letter, but in some cases, eht adaptation was better than the book! The scenery, costumes, everything...this is just a really high quality show from a really great book. I don't care who you are, this is good stuff.

    No, I dropped it much later than that. I watched through season 4, I believe. Beckett was suspended from the force, Esposito and Ryan were on the outs, and Castle and Beckett had just slept together. I didn't watch after that.

    It took a long time for The X-Files to suck. When Outlander has a season or two under it's belt, I will feel more comfortable about voting for it here. Of course if it goes against Castle next, I will change my mind and vote for it as the winner.

    Outlander is an adaptation of a series of books that have been written over the last 20 or so years about a time travelling woman from the 1940's who goes back to Jacobean Scotland. It's made by Starz in the Scottish Highlands, has a superb cast and really gripping storylines. I didn't think I would like it as it looked like a love story from the first cursory glance I gave it, but it isn't really, it's more about the Highland clearances and the Stuart uprising leading to the Battle of Culloden and its aftermath. It's stunningly filmed, pretty brutal and stark in places and very realistic. I highly recommend it.

    100% disagree. That is the worst part for me and by a lot. Shipping ruined the show. Esposito and Ryan's partnership was the best thing about Castle.
