    For what?

Abby needs to shut her judgmental ass up and mind her damn business.

  6. For a wide variety of things, including beating the shit out of an innocent man (at least in this case) who needs a trial.

Sorry, will always hate Fitz (and 98% of the characters on this show, but he's been drawing my ire lately for his behavior).

  9. Mellie showed her true colors again. She is all about staying in the White House as First Lady. Who really thought she was mourning the child she ignored all his short life? It was only guilt and now she feels better and can go be to be herself. Notice how quickly she forgot about Karen again (as long as Karen does nothing to embarrass the White House) and Baby Teddy does not even exist for her. I loved the look of horror on Fitz's face as Mellie was talking.
I don't want to hear anyone ever say that Mellie truly loves Fitz. It has always been about him being President and her dream of being the power behind the throne as First Lady which Olivia ruined by becoming Fitz's lover and confidante.
Why is Jake taunting Fitz's about Olivia if he really wants to take down Rowan? Jake has some serious mental issues like Huck. There is some deep seated hatred and jealously of Fitz that we still don't know the full picture. He should be focusing on the issue of getting rid of Rowan by telling Fitz about the evidence instead he is making it about Olivia. Hmm
Rowan is just pure evil. He has poor Olivia so screwed up. The worst father ever.
I think Abby and Olivia will be closer friends now especially once Abby's abusive husband shows up.

  10. Why can't she or anyone hate Fitz? He deserves to be called out for his crap. He's a jealous coward that beat a handcuffed man. He wasn't beating Jake cause of his son, that was all about Jake screwing Olivia.

So you have FDS too? I DON'T CARE.

Hate this fictional character all you want, but at least try to be impartial. At the end of the day, and Abby still needs to mind her fucking business. End of story.

As for Fitz's jealousy, he is trying to get to the bottom of what really happened to his son. Bitch-ass Choke tried to make it about Olivia in order to goad him. That's not on Fitz.

Just imagine having another POS republican president but with Fitz which would be odd because as everyone knows male republican politicians only have affairs with other males. So this show is a little off base with Fitz the republican president & Olivia it would of been more realistic as Fitz the republican president & some male hooker by the name of Paul. Republican politicians always end up being closet homosexuals.

The writers are idiots, they are making Fitz look like a complete idiot. What reason did Jake have for killing the presidents son? He didn't he had no reason to kill him, but Olivia's father sure as heck did, because it was Fitz how took his job away from him and Fitz know he wasn't happy losing his job to Jake.

Mellie was raped by Fitz's father so yes she may be a little messed up but not evil. If anyone out of those two is evil it's Fitz, he had a beautiful supportive wife who he cheated on every chance he got with her so called best friend.

  16. all of you that thinks Liv isn't in love with Jake... your all so wrong... she loves alright... maybe not the way she loves Fitz but she does...and I don't think she realizes how much herself... and her father is a total wack job.. to so easily sit back and watch her suffer like that.. just to protect himself...

    ReplyDelete
  17. ROFL, the Melliestans are so delusional. Supportive wife? The Mellie who is always undermining Fitz and calling him an idealistic idiot. The wife who did not sleep with him for 10 years while he was faithful to her until he met Olivia. Her ass would have been divorced by any other man.
Please rape does not make someone a sociopath or an awful mother that is a lame excuse.

  18. I hate Abby like 98% of the time too, you know. Add Rowan (who Liv shouldn't believe at all), Quinn, Huck, Cyrus, and Liv half the time.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The reason she didn't have sex with him for so long? Because of the traumatic rape she experienced. The woman's been through so much trauma I'm surprised she didn't crack sooner.

  20. Fitz has always looked like that.

Millie has never been supportive unless it's to benefited her ( she actually ran around undermining his administration during his first term) and Liv was never and is not her best friend, so stop making up shit that never happened to prop up that disgusting character. Mellie cut her husband off for over a decade and messed around his best friend, yet Fitz should be vilified for finding love with someone else? Please.

AFTER he kept screwing Olivia Right and Left with no regard to her feelings.

    ReplyDelete
  29. YouveGotToBeKidding27 October 2014 at 01:44

    Her feelings?

She has been fucking around with Andrew since Fitz was Governor, years before either one of them ever heard of Olivia Pope. Even when she did know she didn't give a damn, as shown by her giving her tacit approval to Liv for doing her "patriotic duty", yelling at Liv for "falling down on the job" by leaving him and "breaking his heart", and arranging assignations between the two to make Fitz happy when it is beneficial to her, like begging to Liv to head up his re-election campaign & offering Fitz up as an incentive. It's only when Fitz makes it clear (which is all the time) that he loves Liv and wants to be with her that the hypocritical whore trots the poor, hurt wife routine while thwarting his every attempt to rid himself of her.

Now, unless you are able to discuss the show as it as been portrayed onscreen and not through some delusional, AU prism where "poor" Musty-ass Mellie is a victim of anything besides her bad life choices, don't bother to come for me. Unlike you newbies, bandwagon watchers and delusional stans, I have been watching this show since the beginning and and am able to think critically about the bullshit that has been fed to me.

Well, clearly you didn't watch the show right. Mellie DIDN'T have an affair with Andrew when Fitz was Governor, Andrew did let his feelings very noticeable to her but she didn't do it, in part because she was traumatized by the rape still, in other because she wanted to be the perfect wife.
Mellie believed that Fitz wanted this career, that he wanted to come out from his dad's shadow, so she shut up about the rape, put a fake smile on her face and did what she thought was what would make Fitz happy. But since she was raped by her father in law, and had to live with the doubt about his son's real father, the fake smile never faded. She probably felt like she had sacrificed herself for Fitz, she wanted her sacrifice to be meaningful, no surprise she made the same association in this episode with her son's death.
Yeh, Mellie went after Olivia, once her husband was drowning in liquor, being even worse than his natural self, throwing way everything she feels she got him, because her mistress was gone. Which happened AFTER she finding out that was happening, after she told him to stop, after he screwed another girl (cause, yeah, the first episode of Scandal was all bout that, even if it was a kind of frame up, Fitz did cheated, if I'm recalling it right). She did it, she begged, she realized that his mistress was more important to him than his wife or his duty s president, so, yes, she went after Olivia, and she humiliate herself, not because she didn't care, but because she was doing what she felt was best for him, and yes, for her too. I mean, if you're going to have your husband pining down and going ballistic for his mistress, you should, at least, be able to preserve something of your own life. And by the way, 90% of the sentences you mentioned were said with irony, cause she cared, of course she cared, but she had to swallow her pride and do it nywy.
I watched this show from the beginning, day one, so don't come trolling everyone who can have different vision than you, it's called point of view for a reason, everyone can see the same thing different, but if you watched this show from day one you know damn well that Fitz doesn't seem to have any remorse for being a cheater, and to say that the fact Mellie didn't have sex with him gives him any excuse to do it is pure BS, if he had being more perceptive, asked more, he'd know why. If he was tired of it, he'd have a divorce. Mellie has a lot of flaws, and she can take the darker path, but she's not a monster, she's product of things that happened to her and bad choices.

An emotional affair is no better than one that includes sex, so the semantics game you're trying to run here won't cut it. She carried on for years with two-faced family friend Andrew, even longer than Fitz with Olivia--deal with it. You can spout all your 'she probably's" to justify her disgusting actions all day long--all your doing is creating an AU version of Scandal that is acceptable to the Poor Mellie narrative, instead of acknowledging what has played out on the screen. Mellie decided when she was a kid that she would be a First Lady, & whored herself into marriage to do it. Keeping her husband in the dark about the (ridiculous, ret-conned) rape and choosing to blackmail her rapist in her quest for power is on her, as is the way destroyed what little bit of marriage they did have; as is the BS way she chose to hold it and (her many bad choices) over his head as a "sacrifice". The way she held him responsible and demanded restitution for a crime he didn't commit was completely disgusting. And if you had been watching as you say, you would know that Fitz begged her to tell him why she pulled away and what he could do to make it right, for over the course of a year since she'd had Jerry by then. She flat-out lied about a dead libido. But hey, if you're going to moronically blame her rape on Fitz, why not blame him for not "perceptively" reading her mind a year after the fact? Placing the blame on Mellie for Fitz not knowing would make too much sense, I suppose...

No Fitz hasn't had much remorse for being cheater; and why should he? He'd already been celibate for over a decade, and he and Mellie completely despised each other and hadn't spoken for years when Olivia arrived on the scene. I didn't see any remorse on Mellie's part for her adultery either, so "oh well" on that score. He has been actively pursuing a divorce since the assassination attempt in S2, which you'd also know if you've been watching. Funny how you don't acknowledge Mellie's sabotage whenever he tries to rid himself of her; must be too real. The hypocrisy kills me, especially with those infected with FDS--acting like Fitz is the most awful being ever and that his and Liv's adultery is this show's ultimate sin while excusing away the adultery, pimping, baby-inducing, election-rigging, murder cover-ups, blackmail, assassination attempts etc of other characters. Gee, wonder why....

Fitz is having an affair and in the process has treated both Mellie and Olivia like crap. I'm glad Mellie decided to step out on Fitz and I am so glad Olivia has someone who truly loves her who she can see whenever she wants and whom she calls BOYFRIEND!!

  43. YouveGotToBeKidding27 October 2014 at 05:17

Yes, yes, Mellie and Liv are just victims with no agency whatsoever, and have never treated Fitz like shit at all; they've certainly never hit or slapped him. Choke Bastard loves Liv so he made a sex tape of her and gave it to her father, concussed her & put her in a hospital, threatened to kill her, choked her out, constantly talks down to her and slut-shames her as punishment for not loving him. So much love.
