  1. Not as good as the first episode but still awesome..
    Loved everything about this show.

  2. I knew it was going to be Bob there was way to many sweet moments between him and Sasha. To much happiness between them once he was outside along I was like well he's screwed.
Oh by the way everyone in the group minus Rick great idea to keep the cannibals running around instead of going back and finishing them off like Rick suggested. Brilliant idea because you know there was no way they were coming back for your meat. Nope not at all. I'm not usually pro Rick but in this case you should have trusted Rick.

Sidenote: Is it horribly wrong that as sick and disgusting as the cannibals are the main one talking to Bob is super hot. And that leather jacket with the hair wasn't helping. Why must you be good looking you disgusting piece of garbage of a character.

  3. Sad but awesome. Poor Bob. But this a**holes ate TAINTED MEAT!

They fooled us so much with the season 5 trailer. Gareth definitely won't become part of the goup. It's just Gabriel to who and about who Rick talks in the season 5 Trailer.

  4. Yes, Bob is Tainted Meat!!! Love The Hunters storyline from the comics

  5. I knew Bob wasn't long for the TWD world, but I thought for sure it would be from a bite (after the water incident). If not because of a bite, what was with his going outside and freaking out/crying before he got caught? Did I miss something? Or did the Terminus people eat from an infected person? Will it affect them?

Seeing Bob with the missing leg and the Terminus people eating it brought back the same horrifying feeling I got seeing similar in the 1st season of The Walking Dead game, and more cause that was animated and this was acted out. So creepy. I'm still feeling the creeps. And poor Bob.

I'm anxious to know who took Beth. Hope Carol and Daryl find her, can save her, and get back to the group soon.

Also really curious how things will turn out with Gabriel. I haven't read the comics.

  6. If you would have read the Comics you would know if Bob was really biten ;) because Bob has Dale's part.

    ReplyDelete
  7. From what I've read from comments I'm guessing he was bitten.

  8. This was a very intense episode! I loved it.

First, Rick was right. He knew they should have returned to make sure all those cannibal freaks were dead but no one wanted to go back and look what happened?!?! Poor Bob was abducted, and those freaks are hunting them!

Poor Bob!!! I feel so bad for him. The only solace I'll get from his death is knowing he has likely infected those freaks with the zombie disease, and that couldn't have happened to a more deserving group. I assume Bob was bitten because he behaved very strangely afterwards, and he seemed to be headed off to die alone. Bob and Sasha were too cute together!

I have not read the comics, but Father Gabriel was very strange to me at first. But I think he is just really scared. I think his big secret may be that he locked himself in that church and wouldn't let in any other survivors. I could see someone carving that msg to him.

I'm still loving Carol/Daryl! I must admit that I don't care about Beth though.

  9. I still think Bob was bitten in the water. The way he was behaving afterwards led me to believe he had been bitten. Plus, it looked like he was sneaking off to die by himself.

    ReplyDelete
  10. That's what I was thinking and I now know for sure that he was bit by some comments here.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Now Carol and Daryl need to get together and I'll be happy =). I know lot's of people are going to write and say yuck to that..but I don't care...I love them together and they have great chemistry.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I liked him too, but expected him to die and he's not on my don't touch list - which I've learned to keep short after I got used to watching a show that constantly is killing people off (it feels like).

And after playing the game, which is probably even worst about keeping characters alive/around. Such a depressing zombie world.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Amazing episode as usual..From the moment i saw all of them being happy at the dinner, i knew that something bad was about to happen. Poor Bob!

    ReplyDelete
  14. of course she's able to come back...she's not dying...she's in the 2nd half of the season from what I've read....so I do not think she's dying....she's awesome and her and daryl are so getting together =)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Me too =) I really believe this season will be the year they get together =) at least from what I've heard.

    ReplyDelete
  16. They are already together. Like siblings.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yep, it was a bad choice not to go finish them off. They're cannibals. They deserve death imo (if you eat people, you're no better than the walkers in my mind), and more importantly they're dangerous because of what they eat.

    ReplyDelete
  18. they are not like siblings.....he's so in love with her, nobody can convince me otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think a lot of people thought Bob would go but not like that! But any way another great episode. Gareth and the Terminus people are the creepiest villains this show has ever had.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Exactly! I agree w/Rick last week. Those freaks needed to be stopped, and now, they'll have to deal w/them before they can move on!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I sincerely hope so :-)

Their reunion was ridiculously cute! I love their chemistry!

    ReplyDelete
  22. What have you been hearing, because from what I have been reading, there are no plans to give Daryl a romantic interest this season.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hmmm . . . were you into the whole Dexter/Deb thing?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hahah :-)

I'm w/you, Nina! Remember when he thought she died in the prison. He was so happy to find her alive. And then everyone knew Daryl was going to be so upset when Carol didn't return. And the reunion? Those two are so cute. They just need to hook up!

    ReplyDelete
  25. He was on the 2nd tier of my "don't touch" list. Beth tops my "Kill off at any time you want" list. Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Lol, and here I was thinking Rick's beard was totally bad ass.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Not as awesome as last week (but let's be serious, how could it top what was arguably the show's best?), but still enjoyable. I liked it dealing with all the catching up the characters had to do with each other after having spent very little of Season 4B together.

I was guessing Bob would go in the premiere, but it still sucks that he's not long for the world. At least, if they follow the comics, it'll be an interesting and memorable way to go down. Here's hoping we get a final Rick vs Terminus showdown in the next episode or the following one, so we can end those guys.

Darly and Carol after Beth! Here's hoping they stage an awesome breakout of wherever she is so she can join the rest of the characters again. Also, can we see her? I'm insanely curious what's going on with her.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Beth used to be at the top of my "I don't really care if you die" list, but ever since she got a lot of great development in the episodes with Daryl last year, she's gone on my "You touch her, I'll be pissed" list.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I don't feel one way or another for Beth. Which is always nice because whether she's around or not I'm not bothered.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I feel traumatized after seeing them eating Bob's leg and cooking his foot! Eeewwwww.

I'm guessing Father Gabriel probably locked out all survivors when things went down. He probably hid in the church with the food while they screamed to be let in and then they were all overcome by the walkers. That might be his big secret. Either way, he's shady.

There they go again with Eugene and Washington. The whole time, I was like, he is so full of it. I doubt he knows anything real about anything. I am curious to see what happens if they do make it there.

Not a bad ep. It's got its moments.

    ReplyDelete
  31. And now our group/Rick's group doesn't have the upper hand anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  32. great ep... hard to match the awesomeness of the premiere, but this was good in setting the stage for the rest of the "hunters" storyline from the comics.... with Bob apparently filling in the role that Dale did in the comics. kind of annoying that this group which is very savvy and cautious (especially when they thought that they were being watched) would have people just go off by themselves in the dark without letting someone know but that's overthinking it, of course.. of course Carl was thinking of going off by herself and now he and Darryl can go kick some ass and rescue Beth from whatever fun she is having... lol kinda odd seeing Michonne without her katana, but perhaps she'll get it back as if I recall it played a big part in the end of the hunter storyline, or more likely Rick will make good on his promise to the head canibal guy - really messed up to eat someone's leg in front of his face... ew

    ReplyDelete
  33. Haha! I hear you. I had forgotten about her until Daryl mentioned her at the end of the episode. Then I was like, "Oh, yeah. . .Beth."

    ReplyDelete
  34. Why They must kill the Carnivora?

    Isn't everyone already infected?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Another great episode!

I thought Bob may have been bitten when he was underwater in the zombie stew. He seemed like after that event he was enjoying his moments of life and walked off to kill himself in solitude.... Then the hinters got him. Talk about out of the fire and into the frying pan! Eeek!

The reveal did not phase me honestly. I suspected it as soon as I saw who had knocked bob out, but the concept of watching people eat your bits is .. ahem... unappetizing to me.

Not sure what to make of Father Gabriel just yet. Is he in turmoil for killing someone? One of his flock? Did he run to save himself letting others die? Did he have an affair with someone right before the walkers started?

I liked seeing Carl playing detective and letting Rick know strength comes in many forms.

Solid episode, but I'm a bit sad the gang is split apart again with Daryl and Carol off trying to rescue Beth.

    QUESTION:
Were the hinters in the books the survivors from Terminus or a completely separate group?
It makes sense to keep the Termites around for TV I guess, but I expected the hunters to be a new group honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah, I'm a bit confused too. I thought you only turn into a zombie when you die (ie everyone already is infected)?

    ReplyDelete
  38. That's always nice to not be bothered if someone's not around, makes it easier for a show like this or Game of Thrones where people are going to die. I think Bob, Sasha, and Eugene fall into that category for me.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yup! Rick should have insisted they go back, but they all got distracted by Carol and then Judith.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Bob is going to make it! my theory: as I'm sure someone has said this down below somewhere....
From the way Bob was acting after kissing Sasha, he was bitten by the walker in under the water in the food bank. So, it was like he was saying goodbye and went outside to die. That's when he was capture by the Garth and the douchey cannibals. Unbeknownst to them... the part of the leg they caught to eat, was the part that was infected... so now I'm curious what happens to all of them because they're eating infected---but cooked---human flesh.

They couldn't tell it was infected because it was dark out, and Bob is dark skinned and maybe it wasn't as apparent a scratch. Bob's reaction wasn't relief, because well... no matter what... someone still caught off your leg and is eating it right in front of you!!!

Thoughts???? Plus it'd be nice to have another cripple on the show----esp a cripple on the run!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Oh my goodness. I hated her episodes w/Daryl last year. She made my list AFTER those episodes! Haha! Before then, I was pretty indifferent to her.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Movember is coming up soon... and that beard is going to be me a lot of TWD's fan's spirit animals

    ReplyDelete
  43. No, Terminus was not in the comics....the Hunters storyline was a very short one (6 Issues) and they were a small group of 5 who were cannibals...and we are seeing that storyline play out now in the tv show...with the Termites playing the part of the Hunters...☺...

    ReplyDelete
  44. As far as we know, no member of the group ate someone who was bitten.

    ReplyDelete
  45. In the Comics the Hunters eat Dale and when he tells them that he was bitten, they freak out and cry because they think they eat tainted meat.

Well, the Comic-Hunters don't live long enough to finf out if they would have turned just because they ate Daleburgers.and I would be surprised if it wouldn't be time for Rick's Machete in the next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Another great episode.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Beautifully written episode.Love every seconds of it and that ending... Poor Bob :(

    ReplyDelete
  48. Issue 64, starring Bob. :)

This would definitely make sense, based upon how much Bob's optimism has been emphasized recently. It didn't seem consistent with his character that he'd go out to that graveyard all alone to cry after kissing Sasha ... UNLESS he knew something the others didn't. Since they showed him get pulled underwater by that walker earlier, I'm guessing he definitely has a secret -- and Gareth and his Hunters will find out soon enough.

Awesome way to write that in, if my guess is correct -- and *really* hoping this will somehow save Bob (vs. what happened in the print version). He's gradually become such an encouraging voice of hope for the group. Those seem to be in pretty short supply. Though the fact that Talking Dead mentions an "unannounced cast member" on next week's couch ... not a great sign.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Everyone's infected so when they die, they turn. But being bitten or scratched (and maybe ingesting tainted meat) causes a fever and death, so then you turn like any other dead person will.

    ReplyDelete
  50. The pace was a little slower than the premiere but it was still really enjoyable!

Bob watching his own leg being cooked and eaten by Gareth and the rest of the Terminus people was absolutely disgusting. I felt so bad for Bob :( Here's hoping that his leg was infected from the walker that attacked him in the supply mission and now has infected them. That's what you get for being a cannibal in a zombie apocalypse! And does anyone else get the feeling that Gareth and his group were watching the church the whole time? Just waiting for someone to come out of there and grab them?

Carol and Daryl going off to catch the car that took Beth is going to be interesting. I really hope she isn't dead/is a walker by the time they find her :(

Who is that woman with the glasses in the photo next to Father Gabriel in the last few minutes of the episode? Is she a part of his past? Hmmm, I'm intrigued in finding out more about his backstory.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I almost forgot how divided people were on those episodes. I remember reading the comments and either people really enjoyed them or really hated them. I fell into the category of loving them, the Daryl/Beth alone episode I thought I would hate but it's one of my favorites of the series.

    ReplyDelete
  52. "You taste much better than we thought you would" WAIT WUT?
That was so sick and that's why I love The Walking Dead.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Melissa McBride said herself that the daryl/carol "romance" was fan-created. It isn't real.

    ReplyDelete
  54. BOB NOOOOOOOO! They ate his leg SICK!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Wow! That episode where they are looking for alcohol is the ONLY episode of the series I actually hated. I thought it was awful and didn't get interesting until the very end.

It's cool that you liked it though :-)

    ReplyDelete
  56. What old days?

    ReplyDelete
  57. The woman with the glasses in the picture was the walker that he was trying to run away from when they were in the water.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I type so fast. Sorry, I slipped it out.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I didn't think anything of it at first, but then I started thinking "have they ever gone on a mission together?" I can't remember that happening.

    ReplyDelete
  60. They cant catch a break, can they? I am so gonna wait for the moment when Gareth is set to die in the most horrible way possible!
Bob why did Bob got out teh church that way? for me it felt like he ws infected and he went out to kill himself. Lucky him the bastards found him and i hope they cut out the right leg xD!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Based on the description, I expected to hate the episode, I remember groaning loudly when Beth was all gung-ho on getting some alcohol. Still, I ended up loving it. Right, I respect that you have your opinion on it, and I'm sorry it wasn't great for you. Hopefully they do better with Beth this season for you.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm right there with you on hating finding Gareth so attractive, but they make it hard not to! This show, I swear... sometimes I think they do this stuff just to see how many people's once clear morals they can blur and then sit back and laugh (evilly) about it as they try to think up new ways to mess with our heads.
Once upon a time I drew the line a long ways before clearly insane, even for fictional characters, and now, this morning before I'd even had a chance to watch this episode (was on vacation with no tv or internet access until this afternoon), I was dreaming about Gareth kidnapping me and Daryl and threatening to bite a chunk out of my neck just to piss Daryl off and make him squirm. It was super creepy, but somehow hot too. I woke up with a smile on my face and have been highly disturbed about the whole thing ever since... especially after watching the episode and seeing what they did to Bob. *facepalm*

    ReplyDelete
  63. That had to be one of the most disturbing scenes I have memory of seeing in a movie or TV show. Shocking.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oh, it's cool that you liked it :-)

I just couldn't get into it until the very end when Daryl blew up at her. I do hope future Beth scenes are good!
