  1. The Pied Piper storyline was terrifying and I continue to ship Abbie/Ichabod like burning. Driving! Ice cream (I think)! That was cute.

And oh shit, Irving, you idiot. That didn't end well for Dean Winchester. Read the fine print!

  2. the biggest mystery of this show is how the hell the rating getting lower every week ??!!!!
One of my favorite tvshow ever .

  3. Awesome, but the directing was very unusual compared to past episodes - soft, dreamy, NCIS like photography, tons of closeups, and more slow mo - must be a new director?

  6. The driving bit was so fun. As was their ingenious plan to record the flute sound so as to control its effects better.
Ichabod and Abbie kicked ASS in this episode. God, where to even begin-Abbie taking down the Pied Piper had me cheering, as did her breaking the bone flute and telling Hawley off (we'll just set aside for the moment whom the broken flute was returned to at the end of the episode-what the hell that's all about, I don't know and I'm already nervous to find out). Ichabod was involved in some incredible sword fights-loved him battling the Piper as well. And Ichabod's intense protectiveness of Abbie when she was transfixed by the flute noise, as well as him carrying the little girl to safety? Well, let's just say I friggin' melted and found myself saying, "Awwwww..." a lot :). Abbie was so good with the child, too.
And the case, as it were, itself was intense and creepy. When they realized what the girl's safe return meant for the other children, I actually said, "Oh, NO!" out loud, and the mother's desperate actions...heartbreaking. I loved the interaction between her and Abbie, too. Fantastic episode.
Also, the promo for next week scared the ever-loving SH*T out of me. I get the feeling I'll be watching most of that episode through my fingers. Yeow.

  7. I liked the direction this episode. It really fit the surreal, dreamlike nature of the story.

  8. I thought it was great! I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Seeing Ichabod drive was just great. Not the first time, (b/c that was the sneak peek) but the second time, he opened that car door like he owned it, and better yet, Abbie let him drive lol. It was so sexy. Ichabod driving. Ok, i'm gonna say it...there was soo much flirting in this episode. I know i ship them, BUT i can honestly say i've never seen them flirt til this episode! Not just the playful banter of "I should arrest your ass for it." "ohh you'd have to catch me first", it was the "Grace Abigail Mills" which i loveddd so much!!! And how he saw through her facade. The "I had him." was cute when she came and stabbed the Piper, and they had that laugh. BUT it was the removal of the foam from his cap that made me say, "Awwwwwww" and I smiled like a fool when he said Thank You, BUT she wouldn't look at him, she stayed looking at the floor smiling. THAT was the flirty moment. AND IT WAS SO CUTE! #$%%#$%^&^%$ hahahahaha.

Ok i really like Hawley, i think he's fun. I like to think of him as Jack Sparrow (but Jack is The Man and way better), he's this annoying, good looking, fun, charming, pain in the ass, and he's all business. (with room for pleasentries). I cracked up when he called Ichabod "Pride and Prejudice and Shakespeare" hahahaha, and I love that Ichabod can't stand him! When he saw him wounded by the rocks and said, "unbelivable" hahahaha that was great. Ok Ichabbie it's ok, calm down. haha.

I can't believe Hawley's working for Henry, damn that dude (Henry) really gets around doesn't he?? I wonder wth is that mix he's....mixing. LOL. And i'm soo glad Irving confronted Henry and figured out that he sold hi soul!!! I called that as soon as it happened and was all, F**kkk, when's he going to figure it out!!! I am very scared for irving. I don't know where this is going, and that whole scene with Irving as a demon thing, I was a bit confused. i'll have to watch again, but i soo don't want Irving to die, not this season. (or any other).

I missed Jenny in this episode, however, i was glad that they brought her up and mentioned she was the one giving Ichabod driving lessons. The Piper was cool. There were some funny moments in there, especially Ichabod trying on the ear devices. That was cute. But my favorite line tonight...."Leftenant, if you would perform the log in ceremony." lmfaooo!!

Next week looks good. Man do i love Halloween, and i think i saw a tiny bit of flirting between Abbie and Hawley, personally I think it's too soon, so i hope i'm wrong. But i'm not opposed to Abbie having a love interest, she deserves it with all the shit she's been through, but just not too fast, okay writers? Give it like 5 more episodes.

  9. I cracked up when he called Ichabod "Pride and Prejudice and Shakespeare" hahahaha, and I love that Ichabod can't stand him!
I loved those nicknames, too. Especiallly "Pride and Prejudice". Ha. And Ichabod's not even remotely subtle eyeroll when Abbie allowed Hawley to join them was perfect.
I've mentioned before how I like Ichabod's devotion to Katrina, and how, if anything were to ever happen between Ichabod and Abbie, I wouldn't expect it until after something happened to Katrina to make it possible. I'm good either way when it comes to shipping Crane and Abbie and the possibility of them getting together.
All of that said, however? Yeah. There were some very undeniably flirty moments going on with those two tonight for sure. Whatever one wants to call their chemistry-platonic, flirty, etc.-there is absolutely no question that they have it in spades.

  10. Lol your schedule is super awesome and impossible. ..
    But we can dream lol

    ReplyDelete
  11. wishful thinking, true
I could see Faith happen though

  12. That eyeroll was perfect. I was wondering how long can Ichabod keep his composure. LOL As for shipping Ichabbie, when it comes to their moments, Katrina is NOT in my thoughts. She's a third wheel in my mind. I'm well aware of Katrina and her "presence" I mean they (the writers) shove that down our throats every chance they get. Verbally, visually, yes i know i know. I'm not saying i want anything to happen with Ichabbie anytime soon or while he's still married to this boring woman, seriously they need to let her work her magic (literally) and get away from Abraham. After seeing info for episode 7 (i think) today, i'm not going to begin to TRY ONCE AGAIN, to like her anytime soon until she starts interacting with the rest of the characters.

But anywaysss, like i was saying. I'm not expecting anything to happen between them while Katrina is around or they're married w/e. Abbie is more respectable than that, as is Crane, I just enjoy them together. All their moments, good/bad, it doesn't matter, but their flirty moments? Mannn, they light up my screen. Seriously their chemistry is ridiculous, and when they have moments like they did tonight, there's no way i can't mention it. LOL

  13. Mac, you ass! You almost had my heart rate, I was about to get pissed. Like what?? They're doing a Faith spin off?? When the hell did that announccement come about? and why the hell didn't i know about it?? Relief sigh. But that would be awesome though, a Faith spin off, with Eliza. sigh Sadly, she's too old for the role now, they wouldn't do it. She shouldl've done it long time ago when they pitched it to her. But noooo, she had to go with Dollhouse (was that it?) which was cancelled anyway.

  14. It does not take much to get Crane all agitated, no :D. I love seeing him get all riled up about something or other.
We shall agree to disagree on Katrina as she stands-I personally like her, myself-she seems so quiet, polite, and demure, to the point where I sense there is actually more to her than meets the eye. But I definitely agree with you in that I do hope she gets more involved in the action as the season goes on-I like the idea of her playing mind games with Abraham, and possibly Henry, but yes to her using her powers, and eventually managing to break away from Abraham somehow and team up with the others to really get her hands dirty, so to speak. Seeing her change from the woman we know her as now into a more aggressive, active, feisty sort of character would be quite fun, I think. We'll see how that plays out.
And you're right about Abbie and Crane being respectable people, too. But yes, watching them interact in general is just such a blast, and all their moments together make both shippers and non-shippers happy for the time being, which is no easy feat, so I'm all for continuing to have fun watching them fight evil all while having these lovely bonding moments on the side :).

  15. Sorry...sorry :(

Dollhouse came after Buffy ended, she went with Tru Calling instead of the spin-off.
She's not to old IMO. I could easily follow an aged Faith cleaning up LA after demons stormed town, possesed humans, erased each trace of themselves and now cause pain disguised as humans. Meanwhile Angel and Spike had their memories erased and were turned human (explaining their aging) now servivng as W&H employees (as visualized by evil!Wes and evil!Lindsay).

I thought about this...a lot. Sadly I can't pitch this to Joss Whedon :(

  16. very enjoyable ep. loved the interesting take on the Pied Piper lore, IC's learning how to drive a car, and the Captain realizing his predicament and what possible plans War may have with him a demonized soldier of sorts.... as always the IC/Abby bits are always good for a laugh

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh yes, I think it's great when we see different sides to Crane, it's very fun to witness. No prob on the agree to disagree, however, I do agree that there is possibly more to her. But it's time for us to see that, b/c the Damsel thing is Sooo old for her. I didn't mind her in the beginning of season 1, but that quickly changed for me somewhere in the season. But it wasn't for her "damsel-ness". Personally, if I have to share ONE good thing I'm looking forward to with Katrina it's her going shopping With Abbie and/or Jenny (like we were promised). I want to see the difference of how she's introduced and accepts this time as opposed to Ichabod.

I'm very much looking forward to Ichabod's reaction when Abbie tells him she has a date with Hawley. LOL not on a "b/c he'll be jealous" thing. He won't be. But he'll be protective and give her the speech. "Leftenant are you sure?? I'm not sure i like this, that man is....not of your stature" lmao, and she'll be all, "relax it's just a movie. Don't wait up." And he'll be staring at the clock waiting for her return. HahahaHahahaha, I could see him running out the house and going to the theater, Ticketer "What movie?" Ichabod: "Ummm, Annabelle." LOL could you imagine??? Omg!! He has no clue what that movie is, he'd go in the theater, Miss Mills? Miss Mills?? (looks at screen) Oh my!"

  18. what is with the over dramatics of late? I understand that they are in a war and they are trying to drive home that and the idea of fear and forward movement but I think they need to dial down from 11 on the dialog faux-tensity. it is rather distracting and eye-rolling.

    ReplyDelete
  19. This episode was AWESOME, Sleepy Heads! The first 5 minutes of dialog between Abbie and Crane alone was worth the other 39 minutes............did Crane really "drift" a Jeep Cherokee in a parking lot (lol)........driving lessons from Abbie's sister anyone? Crane's Ben Franklin crack are just to funny (No More Spoilers)! 4 THE HEADLESS EXPERIENCE, I will be Nobody!!!
Favorite/Scariest Monsters of the Week (so far):
    - Mohawk "Sand Man"
    - Pied Piper
    - The "Anti - Death/Horseman"

  20. I disagree that Hawley work for Henry. I think he doesn't know he sell that flute to Henry. Because Henry doesn't get the flute by himself

    ReplyDelete
  21. When I meant "Work for Henry" I didn't mean he KNEW he was working for Henry. I meant his "Boss" is Henry and he has no idea. Just like Irving didn't know Henry was his lawyer. For all we know, Henry could've "hired" Hawley, b/c he has a rep for finding any and everything, and once he finds it, he sells it to Henry, Henry gives him lots of cash. Get it? That's what I meant. It's not too far of a stretch, everything Abbie and Ichabod are looking for (from last week, and forward) Hawley is looking for, and that may mean Henry is looking for it.

  22. I prefer Katrina to be quite, polite and demure woman except when she cast a spell. Because it will make Ichabod's love more fun and more drama when Katrina team up with him and Abbie if Katrina cannot intercept Henry's plan anymore. Because Ichabod will be hesitated and confused to choose who he love most,Abbie or Katrina? Because both of them have their own personality that Ichabod like.

  23. Hope this director direct more episodes!

  24. This was good but not great. I loved the MoW and the family dilemma but some of the other stuff was kind of blah.

I'm curious as to every little thing they have going on with Henry, why did he need the bones? We what's his evil master plan? But I don't buy the Irving part of it, that seems rather bland.

I also don't get why the blonde hottie keeps popping up in the show. I like him but he's essentially a male Jenny, and I'd rather have Jenny in the episode working with Crane and Abbie. Is he a potential Love Interest for Abbie or something?

    ReplyDelete
  25. From Comic Con before this season start, Yes, Hawley will be a love interest with Abbie but from the current episode today, I have no idea how she will love Hawley..

    ReplyDelete
  26. Finally getting back to the show I fell in love with. Love the twist that the mother was damned if she did and damned if she didn't. Abbie and Ichabod are so far behind the 8ball. War has Irving and now the pipe.....freaky.

    "It's hot under the foam."

  27. OK thanks. So that's why he's constantly showing up. I have no problem with Abbie getting a LI, I just wish it didn't feel like it was at the expense of Jenny.

    Thanks!

  28. I kinda figured it out in the episode when he suddenly said bout the bone flute and and thought who else would be interested and bam! Henry.

him crushing the bone and then tasting it was so Walter from Fringe lol.

  29. I don't watch Fringe. Lol sorry.

  30. Oh well lol. What odds do you think that Hawley is telling the truth when he said the coin is in a safe place?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Slim to none, but only b/c he's unknowingly working for War. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  32. I wanna see the episode when he starts believing the threat is real lol

  33. Probably in the next 3 Episodes.
