  1. Luke is a very jealous person for someone who really shouldn't be all that jealous. He has Rayna, he has the fan attention, the nominations, but Deacon gets a little attention backstage and it is a BIG deal. Jeez.

He's just really insecure. Not soo sexy in a man!

  3. Nashville is on an absolute roll this season story wise IMO!

  4. I enjoyed this episode. What I liked about it:
    * I really liked Luke's duet with Sara Evans, as well as Deacon's song backstage.
    * Juliette and Avery are talking to each other like civilised people. Avery asserted himself as the baby's father, and Juliette took the high road with the press and towards her contractual commitments.
    * The show expressly addressed the issue of Rayna (as well as other women in the show) being defined by their men. Juliette did the same thing when she gave Avery an ultimatum. This is how the show started, being about two strong, independent women, and this message was starting to get lost (and is still lost with Layla, for example).
    * I was initially tempted to condemn Teddy for his bad parenting, but putting it in its perspective all adults involved were to blame. I liked that the show addressed that a woman doesn't have to drop her career to be a mother, and men should weigh in as well.
    What I didn't like:
    * Scarlett has no purpose as a character. Her storyline is disjointed and she doesn't even sing anymore.
    * Zoey continues to get on my nerves.
    * Will and Layla's storyline continues to be exhausted since the start of the season. At least the reality show is over.
    * Jeff continues to be a douche.
    * Maddie continues to be a brat.

  5. So I guess Jeff will blackmail Teddy into signing a record deal for the girls. Yawn.

  6. I feel a lot more tension between Rayna and Luke his jealousy is not attractive and his attitude towards Deacon makes me very angry. Maddie is Deacon's daughter NOT Luke and Deacon has every right to see his daughter after getting in trouble. Rayna's no help with her daughters and Teddy is adding onto the already troubled daughters he has.

I am sooo with you on many of the points you have made.

Zoey is plain irritating, she is wayyyyyyyy to insecure. However, it says a lot about Gunner that he could not go and talk to her about his son.

Layla, has been a waste of time ever since she started the show. As far as I am concerned she and her hubby can ride off into the sunset. They are both tiresome.

Teddy is holding down some questionable actions. I get it, everyone needs a night out, and in order for Rayna to succeed she has been abdicating much of her joint child rearing duties to Teddy. But seriously.....Sex Trade Workers....for real.....Teddy gets into one scandal after another and just does not learn from his mistakes. His children should have come first, rather then frolicking with Jeff, who is of questionable character. I feel like Jeff used this as an opportunity to set Teddy up for blackmail...and Teddy being soo thick headed, just won't have a clue until its too late. I bet Jeff uses this as his way to get the girls signed to his record label....which would just be ick all over!

I really like Scarlet....but she has got to get a clue, the whole country bumpkin routine....is old and tired.

I am glad that Avery and Juliette are no longer. Avery is just tooo much. I get it, she was wrong....but he is also wayyy too emo and wayyyy to self righteous, considering how he treated Scarlet. It just goes to illustrate what goes around comes around.

I really like Luke and Rayna together.....I hope they survive this, test of wills and careers.

BTW - did no one find it weird that Luke did not go and see about his son once he realized that his son was no longer at Rayna's house? As well, seriously......is the show really going to put a teenage romance together between Maddy and Luke's son? Yikes!

I am hopeful that he will get his act together and they support one another through this. Cause seriously....it would suck if he ended up damaging this relationship based on the fact that he was jealous of her star rising.

I bet there is something going on with him, hence the reason he has not started his new album as of yet......
