  1. When not-May got her face burned, did the resulting scar remind anyone else of Domino? I know she's a mutant and all but still that burn got me thinking.

  2. It's good that Fitz took that step he needed to move on, but at the same time he's doing it because he believes Jemma doesn't love him, which makes it ten times worse. Come on, writers! Stop the pain already!

  3. Agent May was kicking some serious ass in this! Also Phlinda was awesome. Good to Fitz bonding some more with Mack and Hunter.

  4. Ha I loved May's party laugh. "Whats wrong with May is she okay". "She's fine she just laughing the worst is almost over now". Followed by her "my face hurts from smiling". Killing it with the humour. I loved that for a moment it seemed liked old Coulson non director Coulson was around making jokes like the past times. I missed these interactions.

Still impressed by the Fitz storyline and his slow, realistic but touching reintroduction into the group. He's coming more out of his shell every episode and I love that he is openly acknowledging not real Simmons isn't the best person to be talking to but he was just to shy or scared to hang out with everybody else. Sad he feels so rejected by Jemma though. I know we know her reasons for not being there but its still heartbreaking that he feels so abandoned by her. I can't wait for their real reunion! I hope it comes before mid season.

  5. Oh God, Philinda love each other so much I can't deal with it. And he wanted to rip that dress off in the elevator and was turned on by the May and May fight.

Glad Fitz bonded with Mack and Lance at the end. And Lance's ex-wife is so Bobbi.

    Great episode!

  8. Words cannot explain how much this episode absolutely rocked! Holy shit, that was one of my favorite episodes of the entire series so far.

That epic Philinda mission was everything I wanted and more! It did not disappoint in the slightest. I laughed so hard when the team was shocked that May was acting like this obnoxious character that was laughing and smiling so much. That was so great.

And that action sequence with May vs. Agent 33 cloaking as May was so damn fantastic, I could watch that scene over and over again and never get bored from it. So freaking well done. I was yelling so loudly saying "YEAH!" "GET HER MAY!" "KICK HER ASS!" XD. Dare I say that it's the best action sequence the show has ever done so far? You do not mess with Mulan!

May telling Coulson that no matter what happens to Coulson, she will take care of him made me squeal like a little girl. That was such a beautiful moment and hope we see more of that in the future.

I love that Fitz had an opportunity to shine and saved the team from an explosion. Him spending time with more people in the team (this time with Mack AND Lance) is just what he needs right now. Just hanging out with a beer in his hand celebrating the success of the mission.

I kind of feel sorry for Raina. I know that she is one of the bad guys in the show but I honestly love her character and it will pain me if she ever gets killed off in the show by Whitehall. Ruth Negga portrays such a great villain.

  9. I loved it! I especially loved Agent May fighting with "herself." That was an awesome scene!

  11. AWESOME EP! love May kicking the not May ASS Its great too see woman kicking ass I just miss those days and the Dance was great and at the end when Coulson told May too put a Gun too him it was sad but respect the man's wishes but I hope she saves him another way. And I love that Fits saves the plane and is bonding that made me smile.

  12. Fitz - I don't have ex... lol great starter buddy. sad feels there.

It really feels like I'm reading a comic here, bits and pieces of everyone here and there, not getting enough specific characters.
Other then that I still enjoyed it.

  13. Outstanding episode. That double swerve with Talbot was brilliant. Totally had me fooled.

Fitz missing the old lab because it was, "Ours" made me want to cry again. And then him being afraid to interact with the others because talking is hard for him and he has nothing in common with them was so sad. But him being able to save the team at the end was a cathartic uplifting moment for a character that really needed one. I hope those keep coming.

Action, drama, great cliffhanger for next week, funny as hell. Well done, show, well done.

  14. loved it... a lot of great moments: the tango surveillance, the team's reaction to a laughing, verbose undercover May, Fitz saving the day and slowly reconnecting with people, and of course the topper was the hot May on May catfight that was well choreagraphed/executed and the nice final exchange between Coulson and May regarding the plan......

  15. this show just keeps getting better and better, i loved this episode, i absolutely loved philinda undercover and may laughing and skye and fitz thinking something was wrong lmao and that may on may fight so freaking awesome, fitz saving the team was great and being congratulated, he's getting better and better every day, that last may and coulson was amazing but sad when coulson basically ordered may to do it and damn whitehall is definitely someone to be feared like he said i'm very surprised he's doing his own dirty work, even bakshi is out in the field, loved the Lola mention i miss her so much

  16. ''I Will Face my Enemy'' just took the gold medal for favorite episode of the serie so far (FYI, that honor belonged to S01E06 - ''FZZT'' before this week). And it's not small part to the May vs fake-May fight scene, which was just amazing! I didn't knew I wanted to see this until I saw it, and it was FREA-KING A-''MAY''-ZING (pun intended!). Nice job, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you know how to deliver the awesome!

Melinda May always were my favorite character, but double that today! Just... WOW!

Also, feeling kinda sad for Fitz, now... Come on, Simmons loves him back, right?

  17. What a fun episode.

+ May vs Agent 33 May was fantastic, the show is getting really good with its fight scenes.

+ I loved that the tech Natasha used in Winter Soldier is back. Scary though the kind of weapons Hydra has at its disposal.

+ The bus exploding subplot was pretty weak but the bonding between the characters was lovely.

+ May's plan to run off with Coulson, oh my heart.

+ Talbot is secretly being won over by Coulson, he doesn't want to admit it but he is.

    + Run Raina Run

  20. The "talking about secrets in the middle of the operation" thing was stupid and the totally unnecessary dancing awful, but otherwise it was a great episode from start to finish. They actually managed to pull of a twist I didn't see coming at all.

  21. i thought more of Madame Masque

  22. such a good episode, pure fanservice... Clark Gregg and Ming-Na were brilliant.

  23. May was kicking was serious ass. I loved how she just smashed that chair when she couldn't free herself from that cuff. And seeing Fitz still makes me feel sad/mad. I just wanna hug him every time he shows up but good for him for taking that first step towards moving on.

  24. Regarding Simmons: I know she loves him, but I'm not sure she LOVES him, know what I mean? It's already been stablished (via deleted scene form season 1) that she was interested in him first, but then she moved on from that and they went on to become as close as friends can be. I mean, she obivously loves him like family, but I'm not sure that she still sees him as... something more.

  25. Great episode overall, May V/S May was a definite highlight, and it was great to see that face tech again after Winter Soldier.

I like'd Fitz' plot, but somehow it seemed too neat? "...and that's how Leo made some friends" It was not bad at all, but with the previous episodes so high on development for him, it is relatively less.

One thing that did made me roll my eyes a bit was how coincidental it was for 33 to have a body frame and skin tone that matched so perfectly May's, that was really something!

  26. THE BEST EVER! #OMFG

  27. Damn, at that lingerie May had on under the dress! Girl's got good taste. The May vs. fake "May" fight was awesome. Probably the best fight sequence on the show so far. Loved the Coulson and May mission, all the nostalgia talk, and that chemistry! May saying that no matter what happens, she will always take care of Phil, was so sweet. I just love the matter-of-fact, non-cheesy delivery of that line too. Too bad Coulson squashed the moment with his "kill me" orders.

I have also been enjoying the Fitz storyline. This episode was very emotionally gratifying, letting us see Fitz slowly coming out of his shell, making progress, being able to save the day, and then starting to bond with Mack and Lance.

Kinda worried about Raina, even if she's a "bad guy".
