LOL,reign won't be canceled especially as to how beauty and the beast got renewed with lower ratings. I do think it's keeping that slot warm for izombie.

it's a canadian show, that's why the ratings aren't included. But last I heard it was like the top #1 canadian drama series or something

Why is just about all scripted tv shows failing in ratings this year? Worse I have ever seen it. Gracepoint didn't even pull 5 million? Damn! Haven at .72? That's got to be like an all time SyFy low. Reruns usually get around that much. Of course Sleepy Hollow and Agents of Shield did terribly as well. Good tv on it's way out?

Ofc, if the ratings were better, things would look better, but the only 2 shows on the cw that are from CBS studio are reign and Batb, and the cw will have to keep in business with CBS studio, and out of the 2, reign no doubt has the upper hand in terms of critical aclaim
ReplyDeleteOne could argue BATB is completely owned by CBS and they will try to get it to more episodes for syndication. If the race is between BATB & Reign, i would say BATB will be at an advantage, since Reign is only partly owned by CBS.

ReplyDeleteLet's not forget what kind of ratings Batb was pulling in its regular slot okay. Reign so far is heads and shoulders above batb ratings wise; and the fact that the cw let reign continue to stay behind tvd is another sign of confidence

BatB was on MONDAYS, wich is a worse night than mondays.
I could care less about either show but BatB certainly had a worse slot
Or you could interpret it as the Cw wanting to make sure Reign will have good enough ratings to warrant a renewal for season 3 and beyond

ReplyDeleteI read about it in a magazine. I think EW. They mentioned shows that don't have high ratings in the states but are huge overseas and BATB was amount them. Its more popular than majority of the CW shows like Arrow.

ReplyDeleteI'm spanish and you can watch BATB on a spanish channel called Cuatro although it's not very famous,the second season had low ratings. But I don't like BATB.It's very boring and ridiculous. I don't understand how the CW hasn't cancelled it yet.
