  26. Really wish I could say that Firefly was a favorite back during this time but it didn't become a favorite until very recently when a friend loaned me his DVDs for my Gilmore Girls DVDs...what a trade, huh? :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I completely understand this. I didn't watch Firefly until after Castle began, and I wanted to see NF in another role.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Buffy, Angel, Smallville, Veronica Mars and Firefly

With Dark Angel as a honourable mention.

    ReplyDelete
  29. So many choices, but going with Buffy, Xena, Charmed, X-Files and Seinfeld.

I'm guessing the author forgot Lost started in 2004, so the first season would of counted in this poll, as would desperate housewives.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Buffy and Charmed are the best tv shows EVER!

    ReplyDelete
  31. My friend who loaned me his DVDs kept telling me that I'd love Firefly because of how much I love the witty banter in Castle and he was so totally right. Firefly was fantastic so it is now a favorite even though I have no intention of getting any of the characters, including the Serenity tattooed anywhere on my body.

    ReplyDelete
  32. F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Charmed, Smallville, that's so raven and Lizzie Mc Guire if those two counts , i still cry with Friends and Lizzie's Finale.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Smallville, Buffy, and Xena!
I miss Callisto, she is one of my fave TV villains.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Lois and Clark, Buffy, Angel, 24 and Smallville!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Friends and Full House were my absolute favorites, I still watch the reruns and don't get bored.
Friends has a magic of its own.

24 of course, another favorite. I also enjoy Everybody Loves Raymond!

    ReplyDelete
  36. What a cool poll, but so unfair with so many two choose from but only being able to choose five, my goodness that was great tv back then, however I was limited to go with Lois and Clark, Soprano, Ally Mcbeal, X-files 7th heaven, Smallville!

    ReplyDelete
  37. That was another great one, do you remember LA Law as well?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Besides full house I didn't watch any of these shows cause I was a kid during this time. My favorites were Kim possible, sponge bob square pants, Lizzie McGuire, thats so raven, Zoey 101, powerpuff girls, catdog, courage the cowardly dog and etc....

    ReplyDelete
  39. That's my childhood right there! Loved that show as a kid

    ReplyDelete
  40. My best friend is a Sci Fi fan, and she had been trying to get me to watch Firefly, and when Castle began she knew that she had her leverage. LOL. I love the witty banter in both shows too. I'm more of a western/period piece, fantasy, or procedural kind of girl, but once in a while I will enjoy a Sci Fi series. Firefly was such a show. No tattoos for me either. ; )

The X Files, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, The West Wing and CSI. But it was hard to choose only 5!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Um...Stargate!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'll pretty much watch anything, other than vampires (so over them), as long as there is witty banter. I absolutely loved Sports Night and subsequently pretty much anything from Aaron Sorkin (as long as it's not on premium cable) and now Joss Whedon, he's my new bantero (banter hero).

    ReplyDelete
  44. It wasn't the best show ever for me but i did love it!

    ReplyDelete
  45. 5 is definitely not enough for me :D

    ReplyDelete
  46. Angel, Buffy, Charmed, Dark Angel and Beverly Hills 90210. I picked those because those were the ones I went out of the way to watch all seasons and episodes - even years after (Beverly Hills). Of Dark Angel I even have the DVDs and Books. Others I loved: Gilmore Girls, Alias, Farscape.
Only shows I actually have been obsessive about: Dark Angel, SG 1/Atlantis, Supernatural, Mcleods Daughters, Lost Girl and Arrow. Let's see if AoS and The 100 will make it to that list....

    ReplyDelete
  47. damn I'm old..... that was Full House for me....

    ReplyDelete
  48. never coult forgive Firefly beeing one of the reasons Dark Angel was cancelled. So never watched it and can't bring myself to do so.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Buffy, Charmed, The West Wing, Veronica Mars, Smallville

    ReplyDelete
  50. I scrolled through twice looking for Stargate SG-1. Was surprised not to see it after seeing Farscape included.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Tough but Twin Peaks, The X-Files (absolute fave show of all time), Firefly, The West Wing, CSI.
Missing Stargate SG-1 though, but since this is a USD poll, it's OK. :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. 5 is not enough...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Buffy, Charmed, Veronica Mars, Firefly, Sabrina, Xena and of course Friends.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I went through it twice myself!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I totally get that but since Firefly was cancelled after only 13 episodes, I think Dark Angel has been vindicated...and you're missing out on, what I consider, good tv.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The Pretender should be on the list, my top show growing up :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. How could the submitter forget NYPD Blue or Married With Children?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yes, really sad they never finished the story.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Only 13 Episodes? I did see Serenity and it was ok for me.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Serenity makes no sense without watching the tv series ,Firefly is better.
Dark Angel I liked but it took too long to get good in season 1 and season 2 really from what l heard went of the rails , thats why it was cancelled plus Fox has a bad rep for cancelling scifi shows anyway the only show that survived them was X files and they even tossed that in the friday night death slot.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Charmed, Friends, Buffy, Smallville and The OC.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I can't stop at 5! In no specific order Farscape*, Buffy the Vampire Slayer*, the Flash, Twin Peaks, Lois & Clark*, 21 Jump Street, the X-Files*, Angel, Charmed, Firefly*, Dark Angel*, Alias, Veronica Mars. The * are the ones I would check (still more than 5 :-)

    ReplyDelete
  63. I forgot about The Young Riders and Early Edition. Loved those to

    ReplyDelete
  64. 5 it's not enough and still there not every show listed. Like: Sex and the City!!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well you tried it and that's all anyone can ask. :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Haven't seen it yet. i want to see Jimmy Smits as a lawyer.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Too many shows to just pick 5.
