  2. They cut a lot of Nadia/Katherine, but I think they really should have done more with them (and cut some of the Delena stuff if they needed to - because they had the same conversations over and over again) and Matt being possessed - which was his only storyline. I guess they knew they were going to kill them off so they opted not to really flesh out Nadia?

  3. Wow, Ironically the only one I cared about was the two characters, i least care for. Jeremy and Bonnie. First time ever I can honestly say these all sucked and iI was bored with them.

  4. 1) Damon kept the fact that Silas was alive a secret. The Salvatore brothers have been keeping secrets a lot lately. I'm tired of it.
    2) NADIA's father was a traveler?! What are the odds of that? This could have been a storyline they disposed of, but wow if it's actually true. Katherine claimed to hate travelers and called them hypocrites, yet she had a baby with one and actually became one. Crazy. I'm also trying to understand why Nadia said that she lost her magic when she became a vampire, and then she used magic on Matt in the same scene when Katherine wasn't looking. That couldn't have just been a plot hole if it was all in the same scene. There must have been an explanation planned if that scene had aired. I am also very interested in what Katherine said about how travelers spawn more travelers. I've had a theory for a while now that even though they didn't talk about it, what Katherine did somehow made Elena a traveler too. Tyler might also be one because he spent time in someone else's body just like Elena did.
    3) I'm trying to figure out when the scene happened where Nadia yelled at Stefan and Elena to make them feel guilty about Katherine dying. Was it just an alternate ending, or did it happen when Elena first showed up at the house? If Elena felt that guilty, and she knew that there was a plan to put Katherine in a different body, it doesn't make sense that she let herself be alone with Katherine unless she WANTED Katherine to be put in her body. Maybe we're missing something, or Elena's desire to help Katherine save herself was only subconscious.
    3) I want to know what Dr. Wes discovered about Stefan and Elena's "cells." There had to be a reason why the Travelers wanted him studying the blood to begin with. They already knew that the blood could be used for magic, and they believed enough in the prophecy not to question whether the curse could be broken. So why ask SCIENTIFIC questions about Stefan and Elena? And who was the traveler that Enzo met without realizing it?
    4) I feel like there's a reason why Jeremy was so secretive with Liv. She didn't have any special hold on him, and he wasn't attracted to her. I hope we find out in Season 6 what conversation they had off-screen that led to Jeremy and Liv being so tight. He was mad that she tried to kill his sister (the first time), but he still wanted to work with her and he kept it from Bonnie, letting Bonnie worry that he was cheating on her. Something had to be up.

I know that even Julie Plec admitted that the writers had to go to a boot camp because Season 5 was such a mess, but some of the things that happened were so outrageous that I wonder if and I hope that someone gives an explanation for them in Season 6, or maybe these minor story glitches are actually part of revelations that will happen at the end of the series.

  5. I'm not too thrilled that the scene with Matt was deleted because it gives a lot of insight into Nadia's relationship with Gregor and how she really felt about Matt. There was confusion about whether Nadia cared about Matt, and the scenes that were aired made it look like Katherine forced Nadia to compel Matt. Now it looks like Nadia would have done that anyway because Matt was just a means to an end for her.

  6. I was intrigued by how Sloan actually cared that Wes was trying to wipe out the entire vampire species. Travelers weren't supposed to care about anything created by witches, and they especially hated vampires, yet Sloan showed empathy for Wes' future victims. She didn't have any problem giving Damon the virus after all of the killing he did, but against her own nature, she worried about the welfare of other vampires.

  7. That's why they probably cut this scene coz this didn't make sense to me either!

  8. I thought it was strange that after Markos warned Julian that he would have to say goodbye to Tyler's body when they figured out how to break the curse, Sloan turned out to be the one they tested to see if they could reverse immortality. You'd think the Travelers would have run that test on Tyler/Julian. Arguably, Tyler would have died then and there and Michael Trevino is still under contract, but "Julian" got killed anyway. It also doesn't make sense that even though Sloan was Markos' most devout follower, the one in charge when Markos wasn't around, she was the one Markos asked to be the guinea pig. A lot of things seemed off about Sloan's SL.

  9. I love TVD to death but this whole traveller's lame storyline and even lamer villain markos could have been avoided in the first place.Thank god they salvaged the damage to some extent by that amazing finale.

  10. I don't know. In my opinion the Traveler arc was the best part of the season. Everything before that was too unfocused and verged on nauseating.

  11. I respect your opinion but i think you're the first one who said that traveler's arc was good.

  12. katherine always said nadia's name with her bulgarian accent and why didn't nadia lose her accent katherine did

  13. That's an interesting point. Nadia might have spent more time in that part of Europe than Katherine did, or maybe Nadia just kept going back to Bulgaria for nostalgic reasons. I wish there was some explanation of how Nadia escaped the Originals' attention for 500 years. She wasn't shy about searching for her mother, and while Elijah didn't even believe at first that Katherine had a child, it's debatable whether Klaus knew. It's hard to imagine Nadia searching for her mother for so many centuries and not attracting either Klaus or Elijah's attention. Nadia certainly knew about Klaus. She described a timeline of every incident that occurred while Klaus was hunting Katherine, and Nadia thought of every escape as Katherine abandoning Nadia again and again. It sounded like Nadia was following Klaus' trail, showing up too late whenever Klaus found out where Katherine was. The coincidence was so ridiculous that at one point I thought Nadia was lying about being Katherine's daughter. I figured she was just a vampire sent by Klaus to torment Katherine from a distance. Nadia's flashbacks when she died proved otherwise, though.

  14. Hi !
I personally agree with the both of you lol!
I just think The Traveller's arc idea was good in the first place, but the whole thing was just poorly executed! I mean Markos and his Stelena fan-fictions were a disaster for me too, but at the end of the day the Chanting Hoods did help in rebooting the show's mythology. That and the Anchor SL (Bonnie's SL btw) were the only things that had real potential this season but the writers refused to give those two SLs enough room to develop.
Their focus on this love triangle BS really prevented them to "shine", IMO. I don't know I just feel like they could have been great otherwise, if the writers had taken the time to introduce them like the big threat they actually were.

  15. Ok the first scene kinda rubbed me the wrong way (but in fairness so did the entire season!). Will the Salvatore Brothers and kinda everyone in the show, ever learn that keeping those kind of secrets isn't good? Tired of seeing that being used as a convenient plot device to take some Sls in an certain direction and that happened a lot this season (the last scene was irritating because of that too). Glad this one was cut out!
I hate they had to get rid off all the Nadia/Katherine and "Matt" scenes, considering the mother-daughter "bond" was one of the most interesting things that happened in season 5! It sucks for Zach Roerig as well since Matt didn't have another SL than being possessed. Oh and it made Katherine look very knowledgable in the Travellers business... too much for what the story called for, it seems! And they needed Gregor to die in a different way too.

  16. I agree that Matt's SLs were too brief when there were any, and they were also inconsistent. Why cut out the part where Matt learned how to bring a passenger forth, and then air the scene when Matt repeated the spell in order to bring Julian forth? Matt's behavior was all over the place, and I wondered a few times late in the season if he had another passenger in him. I still don't get why Kol had to make an appearance on TVD just to have a chance meeting with Matt that didn't make sense. In spite of how much people like Nathaniel Buzolic, Kol was never a good enough guy to be that helpful. I kept waiting for him to attack Matt and steal Matt's resurrection ring, and then wake up in Matt's body. That's what I assumed happened because it was OOC for Kol to just talk like a scared child to Matt and then let Matt go back to the living, only begging Matt to remember him. They should have just waited until this coming season of TO to bring Kol around, whether or not he's the one getting resurrected in another body, unless of course Kol is Kaleb and it wasn't anyone in New Orleans who brought him back. I don't think that's the case, though. If Kol was resurrected in another body, it's a safe bet that Esther did it. I guess I should just be glad that the writers had Matt do something.

  17. Hi ;)!
You're right, his SLs were mostly inconsistent but in fairness a lot of things were in season 5. Like I said on another topic, I think, there were good ideas but they were just poorly executed!
As for Kol, I think there are 2 reasons to his showing up, the first one being fan-service lol! However, I think the writers definitely have a plan for him to go show up in TO in whatever form lol! I thought of Kaleb too, to be honest, but I'm still not sure that's the case. But yeah Esther is certainly behind it.
Going back to Matt, I think he'll have something to do this season with this cult taking over MF. I think it's gonna be interesting to see how he tries to fight them off or worse gets into it. I don't know but I'm already into that SL for him ;) !

  18. Yes, Matt and/or Jeremy will definitely get involved with that cult. Jeremy's "self-destructive behavior" might very well be the return of his Hunter instincts. Everyone has been so focused on ships that people asking for spoilers never bothered to ask how Bonnie being gone forever would affect the part of Jeremy that Bonnie helped him control. Elena might be forced to stay away from Mystic Falls not only because of the spell, but also because her brother might want to kill her. Things Matt said in the season finale led me to believe that he's tired of vampires in general being in his life.

I know I've said this before, but I think the ultimate question that should be asked is a moral one: SHOULD the spell be broken? That spell is protecting a town full of humans and I'm hoping Elena in particular will recognize that vampires being banished from the town is something the Founders, including the Gilbert family, always wanted. As of now all we know is that Caroline is obsessed with breaking the spell while everyone else is preoccupied with their own lives and obsessions. Vampires are supposed to be a toxic and selfish species, but I hope to see at least one vampire besides Stefan disagree with Caroline's objective because if it's only Stefan who wants to move on from MF, then it's still a freaking ship story. In Season 5 we saw Elena acknowledge with respect that her father was a vampire hunter, and I hope the writers keep to that when it comes to whether or not vampires should be allowed in the town that the Gilbert family helped build. Even if Elena tries to help Caroline find ways to break the spell in the beginning, at the very least I hope Matt or Jeremy somehow gets through to her and changes her mind. Elena is all about holding onto who she was, so what makes the most sense is Caroline having to fight to bring vampires back into Mystic Falls, with no support from anyone except maybe Enzo. If the spell does get broken in the end, it'll probably happen because of some unknown factor or SL that we haven't been made aware of yet.
