Yesterday saw Orphan Black take out one of the more popular shows on SpoilerTV - Once Upon a Time. Also, LOST quite easily beat out Dexter.
Today sees Supernatural face Smallville, while Buffy then takes on Burn Notice.

Supernatural and Buffy!

Luckily SPN and BTVS both have very large and committed cult followings. So *fingers crossed*
My second fave show and one of the biggest shows of my childhood...gonna be tough if they go against each other...
Smallville and Buffy.
ReplyDeleteSupernatural narrowly beats Smallville for me and Buffy is a very easy choice as it's a much better show than the otherwise enjoyable Burn Notice.

ReplyDeleteTwo of my all times favorite today, and not against each other! Yey! SPN of course as always ( comic super heroes just not for me), and Burn Notice ! Never was able to get into Buffy, have tried like 10 times.

Voted Buffy for sure! Also haven't seen Burn Notice. I still need some time to choose between Supernatural and Smallville.

How far into Supernatural have you tried watching? The first season I felt was really terrible and felt cheap. The second season and onwards are a big improvement. Starting with the 6th the quality begins to dip though.

ReplyDeleteNever watched Supernatural so I went for Smallville which I very much enjoyed until season 6.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Burn Notice before, so Buffy got my vote. But in fairness, Buffy will always get my vote no matter how good the other show mentioned in any poll might be ;) !

ReplyDeleteMuch as I love SPN, with the lesser quality of recent seasons I have to go with Smallville. Overall it's a better series. And of course Buffy.
ReplyDeletenot sure which show's writing suffered more in later years Smallville or Supernatural. Then I went with Burn Notice, as it has more re-watching value then Buffy.
ReplyDeleteVoted for Burn Notice! Sorry for Buffy because it's also one of my all time favorite TV shows but BN's gang deserves more love.

ReplyDeleteOk, now here's one of the rounds I'm not to happy it's Smallville up against Supernatural which I haven't watched in awhile went with Smallville, Voted Burn notice, I know Buffy is a crowd favorite here on Spoiler, cause I voted for her the previous round but, I couldn't vote against Mike & Fie, but I want be mad if Buffy wins cause I still love her;)
ReplyDeleteToday I'll haveto go with Supernatural, even though I watched both series (I think I stopped watching Smallville around season 6) in the long run I've enjoyed SPN more, and Buffy, I've never watched Burn Notice but still Buffy it's Buffy.
ReplyDeleteI watched the ocasional episode of season 1 and 2 but they weren't my thing, but around season 3 it got quite better. On the later seasons I stopped watching again, too much angel/demon drama, but last season I took up again. It's relative really.

hands down Supernatural and Buffy come on no contest too great shows but if it ever came down too one of them it will be Buffy my heart is with that show it never let me down it had great story lines and not too take away from SPN that had great Eps too but Buffy is the reason I love shows like SPN and other WB/CW shows.
ReplyDeleteit started going down for me in season 7 I like season 6 it had some great Eps and so not get me started with season 8 and 9 it just got bad.
ReplyDeleteNo vote on the first because I didn't see more than a couple of Smallville episodes, but SPN is an overrated, creatively bankrupt mess that should've ended years ago, in my humble opinion.

SPN & Buffy. I am a huge fan of all the shows today, but this was still easy. I have watched Buffy and the first 7 years of SPN over and over and over.
ReplyDeleteDamn, next round Supernatural vs. Buffy, two shows that were my favourite on air at the time before waning in quality in later seasons. It will be a toughy.

I never watched SPN or "Smallville", so no opinion. Loved both BtVS and BN and voting for one over the other kills me. BUT, Buffy spun off 5 seasons of another great show ("Angel") and I can't say the same for BN, so reluctantly I have to go with the Buffster.
