    Ok so I'll be honest I like it! It's different feel than we've had last season but I like it :D !! it actually is so much better than the one we had last season if my memory serves.
    Also I'm totally off-topic but what's the animal posing in front of Davina and Marcel?

    I thought they dropped the crow stuff back in TVD Season 1 when they had Damon eat his crow. Is that supposed to be Tyler as a wolf (because that's what it looks like to me - Tyler is the only all black wolf I think we've seen)?

    I do dislike the triangle push with Klayley/Klamille but I can live withthat


    love the gothic-y vibe!


    The wolf might be Francesca, Jackson or Oliver (my money is on Oliver since the actor still is on set with Gillies and Roche)


    kinda sad that Mikael isn't on it :(

    Oh ok thanks ;)! I was thinking about them too but I was hoping for some other character to be revealed like Aiden for instance. Aah I don't know but I'm dying to get a hint of who that might be or maybe it just mean the werewolf SL will get more prominent this season and I'm overanalysing things lol!

    Yeah Hayley's position is quite unatural. But maybe they wanted to represent a rock bottom or something. But really the only bad piece of the poster.

    well i´m loving the mindy project season 1 was just okey but season 2 was brilliant, love veep, shameless, grey´s a, revenge, the goldbergs, the middle, scandal, nashville, games of thrones. parks and rec, orphan black, outlander to name i few i like all sorts of things used love tvd but those days are long gone it seems and TO i so wanted to love it i really thought i would cause i loved the originals on tvd but the first strike was nikolas this girl is carrying your child! the second one was the bad production value and the abysmal writing, third the acting is just well phoebe is not good and she seems to drag everyone down with her, fourth the tears jesus your a grown man not a little girl in a time out klaus and well there are 2 original family members in a show about the originals i do not count flashbacks or cameos... you get my point

    I think it might be biological father of Klaus. There was something about Esther's secret and flashbacks. Maybe she had made her lover immortal and Mikael didn't actually kill him.

    I read a little about animals shown in the picture and here's what I found:
    boar/pig - symbols of debauchery, they're dead, so maybe they're really taking a break in romantic department (hope so)
    cat - symbol of magic, treason and pride, probably Davina will succeed in unchaing Marcel and Josh from Klaus's bloodline
    crow - symbol of death and war, nothing new
    black wolf - symbol of aggresive danger

    WTH? Boar's head hanging above them straight in the middle of the picture. Another pig's head on the dish in front of Davina. WHY?
    Canadian sphinx looking scared and startled. If this is a nod to witches, the cat should be black. A crow next to Klaus, even though there is no connection to this animal at all in the NoLA world or TO vampire mythology. Even Damon at least tried to control crows in TVD.

    A scared looking wolf, which if appropriate considering how weak and helpless weres are on this show.
    The promo shot looks like someone just cleaned up the props from GOT and decided to save some cash and threw all the useless crap into TO promo picture.
    They should have dressed Klaus in a cape with a brooch and put him in a coffin, would be less stupid than pig's heads everywhere.

    Once upon a time, on a show that wasn’t The Originals, Klaus and Elijah were awesome bad-asses that were actually terrifying and intelligent and actual forces to be reckoned with. When I heard they were making a spin off with these characters as the leads, I thought I would be watching a show with three seriously menacing, immortal characters, f-ing things up in The French Quarter. I didn’t think I would be watching a show about two love sick brothers, who spent most of their time chasing girls, protecting girls from evil, and engaging in love triangles.
