  1. So... that was better than last week but still... WTF JEFF DAVIS?! Also, I think I really need to stop expecting logic in this show. Maybe that would stop the weekly disappointment.

  2. Why so late?

Episode was pretty much the Calm before the Storm.
But the episode did Expanded the world a bit with the Hidden Eichen House floor. And the guy with the Eye in his Brain! like WTF! was IT.

Liam part was meh for me, but I guess all that being scared and learning who he really is under will have a impact on him, and actually help out in the rescue mission next episode.
    Lacrosse they lost again...

Ouch man Chris, feel bad for the character how he has nothing left, hope he makes it tho, and oh we got to see Parrish's eyes burning, seems like he is slowly awakening.

Scott and Kira just can't catch break...
Also Scott's fight... I don't even want to talk about it... I'm just gonna let next episode decide it for me in whatever his next fight is. He better pass my test...

  3. I realise over and over again that I shouldn't watched Teen Wolf whilst I am still half asleep and/or getting ready for work. I apparently missed the part with the burning eyes, dang (also how lydia woke deaton up, apparently?? Or haven't they shown it?)
On the other hand maybe the reason why i still enjoy this season very much probably has to do with the fact that I miss half the stuff you guys are complaining about :P

  4. It's getting illogical by every hour. Are we supposed to believe that a true alpha gets beaten by a lame ass were-jaguar or whatever the hell kate is! She was just a waste this season. The finale better make up for all this loose ends or i will have to drop this show once and for all sadly.

  5. This episode was so many things. Good was not one.
    1) The story was awful, the pace was too slow and too much time was spent on the woe is me Liam. The editing was so choppy, it's obvious there are deleted scenes.
    2) Why does Scott and friends continually get their asses handed to them? They are supernatural creatures. Scott is an Alpha. It would be boring if they won every fight but it's absolutely stupid they win none.
    3) So much wasted talent on this show that it makes me angry. Derek, Sheriff, Lydia, Mama McCall, Parrish, Chris,Braeden and Peter deserve better than a minute spot and a minute spot there while Liam and whoever get precious minutes to whine to each other. Ridiculous.
    4) Jeff Davis is an idiot for believing Kate is somehow a worthy villain to follow in Dark Stiles footsteps. Anything was bound to be a let down following the wonderful performance of Dylan O'Brien last season but this is beyond embarrassing. They should feel shame that they're creatively bankrupt now.

This episode had me saying WTF, Why, No, and Just die already more than any episode this season. This will go down as my least favorite season of TW. The bottom of the barrel. The gum on the bottom of my shoe. It's going to be very hard for me to even care during the finale next week or even care when it comes back from hiatus.

  6. It was okay I like the scenes between Scott and Kira and Stiles and Malia but come on Scott is alpha mean tell me he couldn't beat Kate in a fight another thing they are wasting her character did we found out what Parrish is like that Brett gave Liam advice but we could have focus more on Melissa the Sheriff Lydia Derek Braden

  7. Scott is a true alpha: Got beat up by Kate (ok that she was a hunter, but she's been a werejaguar for less time than Scott is a werewolf.
Kira is a Kitsune who controls fire and electricy: Got beat up by the berserker (ok he's strong, but that is no excuse for everything.
Benefactor plot is the big thing of the season: It has no repercussion at all.
Peter is the big bad: Waistes his time susing his daughter to do the dirty work.
Keep pointing that Alisson is dead: No funeral.
Malia spend years in the woods as a coyote: Comes back more clever than the entire school.
Money plot: why bother is there's no real conclusion?
Scott's father: What is his job?
Deaton: Got a Pretty Little Liars vibe (comes and goes without any explanation whatsoever)

  8. Why the hell does Scott so rarely change anymore? Maybe he wouldn't get his butt kicked so much if he did. Kira doesnt change either. Where is that Naruto 9 tails Fox cloak energy that protects her? There were bulbs everywhere, cant she control electricity? They're losing too many battles...

  9. I have to agree with alot of the others here who posted. I think this season's writing has been off. Almost to the point that I wonder sometimes if it's really Jeff Davis doing this season.

I am tired of the Liam self pity party already, too. We get it. We don't need every single episode spending most of the ep on it.

And I thought the Scott and Kira making out scene wasn't working. Their ship feels forced. And any chemistry I thought they had, it seems to be gone.

Since we only have one ep left now, we probably won't find out what Parrish is till next season.

I also agree that Kate as the big bad is not working. And she talks too much in each scene. It comes off as fake.

They've ruined Peter completely. I used to love him, he totally sux now.

What I did like was the new level to Ickenhouse. I love the Doc with the third eye, it was so Lovecraft.

I seriously doubt they are going to redeem this season with our one last ep of it.

  10. Am I the only one who saw Parrish's eyes turn orange like Kira's when he was helping Papa Argent?

  11. I did not see that ending coming, that was terrifying. It looks like they'll figure it out right away, though, and "The Broken Spell" is probably about breaking whatever spell is making Scott a berserker. It's either him or Derek, and Scott is the main character.

  12. I saw that. It indicates that Parrish is supernatural, but I don't remember Kira being as hard to kill as Parrish. If Parrish is werefox, that's probably only part of his background. He's something else too.

  13. {I didn't realize how addicted I am to the 'What did you think' page until I couldn't comment right away. Whew! Thanks for getting the page posted DarkUFO!}

Hmmm. I liked a lot about the episode but balance felt off to me. Once I hit the end I realized the source of the problem. This episode was setup for the season finale, but they didn’t have a full hours worth of story so they padded it. That explains why we got, IMHO, 2 Liam scenes too many (an one that included a throw away character). In the past the LaCrosse game has been used to move the story forward and that didn’t happen here.

Parrish deserves a raise! So, new theory for 10 years from now... Stiles, detective -- possibly in a major city in another state and Parrish -- the sheriff of Beacon Hills. Dude is dedicated...and gives a pretty good pep talk.

It was oddly kind of cool to see Stiles go get his Dad to help find out what happened to Scott.

I felt like we skipped a Deaton scene. Actually now that I say that…the missing Deaton scene would have served the ep better than the LaCrosse scene.

I am tempted to hit google to find some references for Kira to study. Honestly, magically knowing how to use a weapon apparently doesn’t extend to knowing close combat strategy. Not that I should expect her to learn by osmosis because all the pack members tend to do is slash their appoints with as much strength as they can muster. No strategy there either.

Kate really must die. Though I am struggling to determine which is more heinous…burning women innocent families…including children or forcibly turning Scott into a Berserker. Actually, not struggling. Easy decision...the fire was definitely more heinous. But poor Scott.

Traditionally, for me, the dud episodes are the 3rd one from the end. As they’ve usually been flashback episodes that interrupt the story momentum. I think this ep will get that honor this season. Given the padding this episode only gets a great. The finale better be awesome!!!

  14. Yep saw it too. I read there are different kinds of Kitsune (werefox), including a fire resisting/controlling type.

    ReplyDelete
  15. There's a fire type as well. Kira's an electric type. I hope he isn't Kitsune (werefox), I want him to be something new and join as series regular!

  16. when will teen wolf stop surprising i did't expect kate to turn scott into a berserker i thought she was going to rip him apart and deaton would save him because i didn't think that was the end of the episode, poor argent he lost everything but he has to live to carry on allison's memory and what the heck is parrish it's strange that he has no enhanced strength, he seems like the kind of creauture that would have strength his eyes glowed red but not werewolf alpha red, stiles and malia are so unbelievably cute i love them sooo much and i love the relationship between her and stillinski, i just realized that we don't know stillinski's first name either those stillinkis and their first names lol, god i hate peter so much i wish malia would stay away from him, it's pretty cool that teen wolf has a cyclops now, man poor liam i don't really see a PTSD story in teen wolf for some reason but it's cool to see that they treat him as an actual 15 year-old that just got brought into this world supernatural creatures

  17. Scott's father is an FBI agent. As a deadbeat dad he owes Mama McCall back child support for at least 8 years!
I have to admit to seriously thinking about giving up this show. Too many questions, plot holes and underutilised characters. I think the show-runner hates everyone who thinks, who is heterosexual, gay, male, female, supernatural, human, white, black and other ethnicities.
    WHERE IS DANNY???????????????????????????

  18. In one word, it was boring. This would have made a slow second episode much less second-to-last episode.

  19. I've been reading more and more Teen Wolf fanfiction and watching fewer and fewer episodes. I think someone should send Jeff Davis for ff stories maybe he would find inspiration for better stories and characterization.

  20. I would like to see him as something new, too. So far this show hasn't introduced new supernaturals so gradually unless they were something new, as far as I know.

  21. I wasn't bored with this ep so much as I wanted to rip a few pages from the script and smack the writer with them. I finished the ep feeling like, if they'd taken this ep and next weeks ep and did a 90 min season finale it would have been much more successful. I keep wanting to do a season wrap up. You might tsk tsk tsk me but there are two or three things that really annoyed me this season.

    ReplyDelete
  22. 2-3? Wow, that's restrained. I can think of over dozen right off the top of my head.

    ReplyDelete
  23. LOL I knew that would get you! The two or three things I'm thinking of were root elements from which consistent problems grew. And it is way ore than possible that, in a discussion, I'd be reminded of other things to add to my list. :-D

  24. Didn't MTV do a Fan Fiction contest after season 1? Is my memory foggy?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah they did but I don't remember what came out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Let's just say that the only way I would agree to do a wrap-up podcast about this season of Teen Wolf was if we talked about The Maze Runner as well. It is my fond desire to spend 80% of that time on the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  27. So I wasn't the only one who was bored out of her mind? Good to know lol
Even the fighting scenes were sooo boring and stupid.
