Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

“Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision.

“Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series The Avengers, first published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Marvel’s Avengers:Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015.

  1. The MCU is awesome and I cannot wait for this movie. Yeah, I have a problem but I don't care. Oops.

  3. I hated the first Avengers movie, but I'm hoping this is good. Marvel has the ability to make really good movies (Iron Man, Thor 2, Captain America 2, Guardians of the Galaxy) and it also has the ability to make so-so / bad movies (Iron Man 3, Hulk, Captain America).

  4. There are... zero new things about this, but still.

  5. hmmmm....If this synopsis is to be believed we'll see Jarvis BECOME The Vision? (never read anything involving that character so I`m completely uninformed).

Also I'm interested about the cast order. Downey Jr, Evens, Hemsworth Ruffalo, Johannson, Renner, with Spader and Jackson ?

  6. Jarvis turning into Vision is pretty much a given, as soon as they when they announced Paul Bettany was cast in a different role fans immediately went there. Its not something that happened in the comics but it should be a really great spin on the character.

I think the cast order is based on the fact that Iron Man, Cap, Thor and Hulk are the big 4 in the comics so they went first, then Scarlet and Jeremy. And Spader and Jackson are well respected to got the 'with' line. I think too much about this stuff.

  8. Hahah well Melinda is always too far away! But yes only a week to AoS which is keeping me going MCU wise that and waiting to see Guardians again on DVD and Agent Carter in the new year. I need my fix.

  10. With Tony creating Ultron in this version of the MCU when in the comic books he doesn't which we all know who really is the creator of Ultron lol.

I'm just hoping this doesn't effect the Ant-man Sequels should Marvel make them bc they gonna have to introduce Ultron in Ant-man at some point.

  11. If it didn't mention Joss Whedon as writer I'd be extremely worried. Seems like too many characters. One of the things that diminished the first Batman franchise for me was bringing too many guest characters into the story. But I have a lot of faith in Joss Whedon as a writer so it's easy to keep my mind open.

  12. should be interesting to see how this plotline/movie will compare to the comic story which involved time travel elements and if the movie will incorporate that as well

  13. Well, it actually says that Tony tries to use a dormant system. So it may have the same creation story but Tony is the one who sets it into motion.
