    I know that Shay is more than likely the one who has died and i'm probably being really wishful but did the voice announcing who was needed not sound like Shay to anyone else?

    These sneak peaks are so wierd. It s like the finale never happened. Since Kelli is missing from all I ve seen I m gonna guess he gets hurt as well. I hate it when they leave u with a big cliffhanger and than the actions picks up months after. I always feel cheated and I hope this will not be the case with CF premiere

    Kelly is missing because he's not dealing well with the loss of the one who dies.. Wich, IMO, makes pretty obvious who's the one who didn't make it. After the explanation of what happen and some flashback before the explosion we go straight one month and an half after the finale with Kelly coming back at work in episode 3.02... At least that's what I heard.

    I read somewhere that they may have been hiding Shay, so we would think that she is the one who dies and care a lot about the premiere. Well, if they're doing this, they got me. I've never been so worried about a show on hiatus like I am right now. I just can't imagine CF without its best character.

    That will be a GOOD surprise... I wish that's the case but I'm trying to be prepared for the worst... Derek Haas & Co can be very "cruel" sometime :(

    God I hope so because I absolutely love Shay. It just seems like a strange choice seeing as she almost died only a few episodes before the finale. Felt for sure it wouldn't be her based on that.

    There is some new guy in squat 3 Maybe someone from squat dies and they're good with hiding Shay they've cut video in exact moment when she should appear.

    I totally agree. When the finale aired, I didn't think for a minute that Shay could die, because she almost did in the crossover. Actually, I didn't worried at all until the news that someone would die. Maybe that's why they are making it look like she dies. And also, she has so much potential, it would be so stupid to kill off such a different character! And I don't think that Dawson would be this ok if Shay had just died. Well, I'm probably believing in what I want to believe, but I still have some hope.

    I have thought about this too. Severide would be devastated if anyone from his squad had died. He would feel responsible, I think.

    I don't think it is Shay, they've shown a promotional picture with her and Serveride. So unless its a flashback type of thing I don't think she will die...at least I hope not.
