    It doesn't necessarily mean they're alive, it looks as if they're still inside the building, something could still collapse on them.

    I don't want it to be Shay either as I like her a lot. However, IMO, other than Dawson, she is the only person that I could see bringing Casey and Severide closer--which is what I read earlier, that the dead person would bring the two guys closer.

    I just read this one on TVline.com: "Similarly, Severide and Shay will also look inward and wonder, 'Is it time to get serious about life?'”
    So I guess it's not Shay. Mills and Dawson are also mentioned in the article and Mouch is on another picture. So who's left?

    The press release states that Severide, Casey, Otis, Hermann, and Mills all make it. I believe I read somewhere that Severide and Shay focus on the future or something to that effect...but I really can't see anyone affecting Severide running off like that except Shay. Maybe Capp.
