Nice title! But no clue about what it could be.
ReplyDeleteThe episode after this is the crossover, so I assume something will happen at the end of the episode.
Considering this is a cupid episode, I think it's fair to deduce this is a Felicity/Oliver/Ray centric episode... Yayyy triangles (sarcasm).

ReplyDeleteIf this is the storyline with Carrie Cutter/Cupid I hope people doesn't expect a cutesy episdoe with an obsessive fangirl. The character in the comics is "Kathy Bates in Misery" level deranged and could probably give Harley Quinn a run for who's missing the most marbles.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope this show doesn't go the Supernatural route where an obsessive psycho stalker is supposed to be cute or funny when it's a female (see: Becky drugging and kidnapping Sam and making him marry her to which a lot of viewers responded with something like: "LOL, Becky is hilarious! Sam/Jared is so hot, I don't blame her").

ReplyDeleteI was initially excited about a psycho stalker for Arrow. But comic book fans call her arc on GA horrible. So I am a bit wary about this one. Excited about captain Boomerang.
ReplyDeleteShe is a psycho in the comics so I hope she is portrayed like that. I will vomit if they try to make it seem "cute".

ReplyDeleteI've yet to really see anything positive about AJK's GA run, most people (that I've discussed this with), especially Dinah fans hated his work.
ReplyDeleteCupid is usually sited as one of the worst examples of what he created so we'll have to see how the show handles the character and how AJK writes the new GA title (fingers crossed it doesn't suck).
In a way AK concentrating on The Flash might be good for characters like Laurel in Arrow. I have a suspicion it was his decisions that ruined Laurel. I hope season 3 is good for all Arrow ladies. Every one of them has been badly handled one time or other.
ReplyDeleteI liked that episode. I didn't see anything wrong with it. The team worked together, there was nice action (loved that slide down the stairs) Felicity dealt with The Clock King (also love the actor) and I got my Olicity moment. It was fine by me from all angles.
