Raina Reveals: Exclusive Spoilers and Teasers - Faking It, Finding Carter, The Blacklist & The Messengers

Thanks for tuning in to the fourth edition of my weekly article, Raina Reveals, which covers exclusive spoilers and teasers brought to you by SpoilerTV! We hope you enjoyed last week's scoop. This week I will be answering questions sent in via our Ask Raina form and providing bonus scoop on Finding Carter. If you are desperate for details on a particular show be sure to send your question in via the form at the end of the article.

Amber: I need more Faking It spoilers!
You're in luck! Episode 4 will see Liam take Amy on a date to meet his parents, Karma will try her hand at pole dancing and we will be introducted to a new (potentially serious) love interest for one of the characters.

Wolf: Do you know who was cast as Cole in Supernatural?
Travis Aaron Wade has been cast to play Cole and has already filmed his first scenes with the Winchester boys. We hear his role may be longer then first indicated, with Travis hinting that he could be headed back to film again.

Fluffy Bunny: Any info on the early epiodes of The Blacklist?
The early episodes of Season 2 will open more doors into Red's past. We will learn of his ex-wife and their daughter. Episode 2 will see Liz aid Red in rescuing someone important from his past who is being held captive by Berlin.

Tom: Do you happen to know how many episode The Originals and The Vampire Diaries are getting this season?
The Originals Season 2 and The Vampire Diaries Season 6 are both listed as running for 22 episodes.

Samantha: Anything on Constantine or The Messengers please!
We have some intriguing teasers for the first couple of episodes of the 2015 series The Messengers. Having seen the pilot I can tell you this is one worth waiting for. If you haven't read the logline, The Messengers follows five unconnected strangers who die after a mysterious object crashes to earth. When the characters wake, they find they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending apocalypse. Our five characters, coming from all walks of life, re-awaken with various powers ranging from healing and increased strength to spirit-walking. As if these newfound powers aren't enough, they are also struggling with demons from their previous lives. Vera (Shantel VanSanten) is still haunted by the loss of her son Michael who was kidnapped. The events surrounding the kidnapping will play an interesting role in Vera's storyline and fuel her interactions with the mysterious figure known only as The Man (Diogo Morgado).

Bonus Scoop

Finding Carter
As we recently heard Finding Carter has been renewed for a second season. With only four episodes left of season 1, things are about to get crazy. If you've seen the mid-season promo you know the reveal of Elizabeth's affair is only the beginning and we have some intense spoilers to share. The coming episodes will see the family pulled in different directions. David is approached with a job offer that could change everything and Carter receives a package from Lori with surprising contents. Crash goes off the rails, shooting Max. As Max fights for his life the family attempt to deal with the potential outcome.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to check back next week for more spoilers on various shows. Please note: All spoilers were compiled directly from the source by SpoilerTV. They are accurate at the time of posting, however, as with all information given ahead of time they are subject to change.

  10. - I'm always glad to read that Liz and Red will be teaming up on a job together. Those are the best.
    - Damn, that Finding Carter info is crazy indeed. I never did like Crash and this news really reinforces that opinion.

  11. There was a lot of speculation about which character had the gun in the Finding Carter promo but nearly everyone said either Lori or Crash. Also there has been a strong concern that Lori might do something to hurt Max, fans were on the right track but were worried about the wrong person.

  12. I understand their point. But Amy and Karma are (I think) sixteen, they can't have it all figured it out, especially when it comes to sex, especially if you consider they just started realising they are / might be attracted to women.
I honestly think it would feel weird if they didn't experiment a bit.

But it's just my opinion. I'll be happy as long as Gregg Sulkin takes off his shirt periodically. ;)

  13. Wow the Faking It writers must be really high. All the amazing support from Karmy fans (both straight and gay) got them season 2 and they're stil all over Liam aka the most unlikable character on the show with pretty much 0 fan support :/ After the season 1 finale fuckup I though they have learned their lesson, but it doesn't look that way.

  14. Thanks Raina for the SPN and all the other scoop! The Messengers sounds really good. Can't wait to see it.

  15. Karma and Amy are 15. We dont know if Karma is attracted to women, Karma might have something for Amy that she does not want to admit to herself because there seemed to be a moment during the threesome, but Karma is not experimenting with Liam, she is into him. Amy and Liam was a drunken mistake and a mutual pity "bleep" after they both had their heart broken by the same person. Considering that Amy is in love with Karma, it would make more sense to me for her to experiment/date other girls but you are correct that Amy just started having feelings for Karma and as far as we know, Amy has never had attraction/feelings for anyone else, boy or girl.

I completely agree that both girls but especially Amy, the character who is actually going to come out as gay on the show, needs time to figure things out.

  16. Liam taking Amy on a date to meet his parents could mean anything. I hated the Amy/Liam drunken pity "bleep" in the finale but I fail to see why Amy and Karma have to end up together on the show. Amy, who clearly is going to be come out as a lesbian eventually, falls in love with her BFF Karma, who is a boy crazy teen totally into Liam, and Karma might have felt something during the threesome kiss with Amy. I dont see a scenario where Amy does not repeatedly get her heart broken by Karma, and would rather see Amy move on and date other girls.

  17. Thank you for the Supernatural scoop. I actually thought that they would cast a younger actor to play Cole, but I'm glad that they didn't.

  18. Ooh, I'm really intrigued by The Messengers! Also, I must say that Raina's reveals are way better than what E news etc give out as spoilers and scoops =P

  19. Great scoops, Raina you really got me looking forward to the messengers, that's one I'll be checking out!!

  20. TBH I thought that if someone did something crazy it would be Lori, but I like her more tan Crash (yes I'm aware of how wrong that is), and if it had to be someone I'm glad it was him over her, I just wish Max hadn't got hurt I really like him, his like a sweet innocent puppy, LOL.

  21. Oh, I wish I hadn't read the Finding Carter spoilers............... Now I won't be shocked to find out who gets shot.. :(
Thanks for the spoilers as always!

  22. It's not that I "like" Lori, I just think she's an interesting character and there seems to be a lot more to learn about her. I see the Crash-type character on TV all the time. There's nothing new or different about that guy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I agree, I want them to explore more her state of mind and what motivated her to abduct Carter. I haven't seen this last episode, but from the phone call between her and David, I got the impression that they knew each other well (maybe an affair?).
Crash is the troubled boy, and we all know how much writers love the trouble boy as a love interest nowadays,.. I wish they would give him more dimession, though, he is too much of stereotype.

  24. Oh i didn't realize the Messengers wasn't on starting in the fall, but it sounds like its going to be a very exciting show, can't wait!

Always love anything on The Blacklist, glad Red and Liz are still teaming up.

  25. it does suck the messengers is airing mid-season. The messengers i have feeling will be a break out hit. Why do i have to wait so long? it is like with The 100 last year :(. hopefully The Messengers will be paired with Arrow.

  26. Even if lesbians have sex with men before figuring things out, they don't enjoy it, meanwhile even the showrunner admitted that the director of the episode wanted it to look "very sexy". A sex scene of a lesbian (which has been confirmed by Rita Volk) with a man who wanted to "conquer" a lesbian (Gregg's words). Though I think he just tried to put the blame on someone else.

It's sexist and homophobic because it perpetuates the most damaging myths about lesbians, that among the others stand behind "corrective rapes".

Though I wonder now if Rita's words were not just gaybaiting anyway (probably based on what Covington told her, not on bad intentions on her part), given the spoilers about second season.

  27. Sometimes airing new shows during the midseason is a good move, most other shows are running repeats during that time so people look forward to seeing them.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Covington had the scene the way he wanted it in the finale, and he deserves the criticism for it, but I dont see the quote about the director as trying to put the blame on someone else, because Covington has final say in what appears on screen. I think the director honestly did not understand the scene and shot it all wrong and Covington corrected it in either editing or on the set.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Covington said that in AE interview in reference to concern that the interviewer expressed in her ealier recap of last episode - about the fact the scene looked sexy. His line was basically 'oh, the director wanted it to be "very sexy" and I just wanted them to quickly go through it'.

So the fact that as a showrunner he has the final word (BTW, he was also the writer of that episode), only further implies that he just tried to put blame on director for damage control reasons, since his words basically mean that we should be thankful to him because it could look much worse, not just "sexy" but "very sexy".

And the damaging message that perpetuates homophobic stereotypes about lesbian sexuality has been sent. I've been lectured many times by fans of the show that "just because she's lesbian doesn't mean she can't enjoy sex with men".
