Nashville - Season 3 - Hayden Panettiere's Pregnancy Confirmed to be written in + Spoiler

For those of you who guessed that Hayden Panettiere's real-life pregnancy will be written into Nashville, you get three gold stars, because that's exactly what's happening!

E! News has exclusively confirmed that Nashville season three will feature a pregnant Juliette Barnes...and the drama just starts there.

Remember when Juliette made the poor life choice to cheat on her perfect boyfriend Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and drunkenly hook up with Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson, now a series regular), the skeezy head of Edgehill Republic, her old record label? That's going to come back around to bite her in the butt more than you can imagine.

As if Juliette doesn't have enough boy problems to deal with, not only did that ill-advised one night stand ruin her relationship with Avery, but it's also going to cause her some major baby daddy drama, since she doesn't know if the father is Avery or Jeff! Yikes.

  1. I was hoping they wouldn't go with the who's the daddy storyline, but this is a soap drama. It is expected.

  2. I could see Avery and Juliette coming back from the cheating thing, I definitely cannot see them coming back if she's pregnant with Jeff's child. That baby would just serve as a painful reminder of her infidelity. If they decide to make Jeff the father, then Javery is dead for good. It's as simple as that. The Javery shippers were not happy with the cheating storyline, and I seriously doubt they'd stick around if Avery isn't the father.

So the writers are going to have to make a choice. Go for the dramatic plot with Jeff being the father and lose viewers, or go with the plot that will keep the viewers they've got and have Avery be the father.

I personally want Avery to be the father. If anything could go a long way in repairing their relationship, a child would do it. Also, on television a cheating storyline ALWAYS leads to the couple breaking up. I would like to see a storyline where they manage to work things out instead. That won't happen if Jeff is the father.

  3. I actually think the soap operaness of Nashville can't be avoided. The question is how they'll spin it. It could work, but it could also be a disaster. S1 was full of clichés, but it still managed to be entertaining, so here's hoping.

  5. Your preaching to the choir , Juliette and Avery were my favourite couple last season the cheating plot l hate , but Julie is a bit self destructive if season 1 is anything to go by. I hope its Averys.

  7. I was hoping so too, but this is Nashville, if it were daytime tv it would be considered a soap opera, so I knew they wouldn't let the oportunity slip by, LOL.

  8. I so hope it's not Jeff, that would be disgusting.

  9. Unfortunately I'm not surprised they are doing a "Who's the Daddy?" storyline. I'm more surprised then everyone thinks a baby will save Avery & Juliette relationship if it turns out to be his baby. Who says she's ready to be a mom? Besides a baby doesn't magically fix a broken relationship. If its Jeff's though, you can bet an abortion or adoption storyline will follow.
