    ORPHAN BLACK!! ORIGINALS

  2. Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle! Sure, the writing on Once can be crap, but they know how to act it very well! Heck, I even thought Robbie Kay had a shot at a guest actor!

  3. Other: Tatiana Maslany and Orphan Black: Best Series and Best Acting. Neither where acknowledged by the Emmys or this poll :(

Orphan Black could even be nominated for best hair (Tatiana can pull of any hairstyle) or best directing (especially the multiple clone scenes). I just can't stop acknowledging this show and Tatiana's awesomeness.

  4. More Orphan Black/ Tatiana Maslany Emmy Snub Love :)

From the ones above, I'd say acting Emmy nominations for: John Noble, Anna Torv, Jensen Ackles, Maggie Q, etc. You get the picture. It's a shame that some truly amazing actors are never recognized for their work just because they happen to be on the shows not popular among Emmy crowd. Never getting over that.

  10. Seriously, Orphan Black isn't even in this poll? The talent that is Tatiana Maslany is just out of this world.

    She should win every Emmy.

  11. Bates Motel, Penny Dreadful, Hannibal. Hannibal. Hannibal.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Wow, the Vampire Diaries above BSG, Firefly and Dollhouse? Great.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Penny Dreadful wasn't running this year but I agree about hannibal being snubbed.

    Fringe, Community and Battlestar Galactica.

  15. The year Sarah Michelle Gellar was up for best acting in Buffy, she lost to Sarah Jessica Parker for Sex in the City. That was a mistake because SMG was fantastic that year.

    ReplyDelete
  16. NCIS, as always!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Enlisted and Orphan Black!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nikita, Maggie Q should've absolutely been nominated for 2x19, although she didn't submit herself for consideration anyway. Also, Buffy, and SPN for Ackles' acting. I'm kind of stunned that TVD is on this list, no offense to its fans...

  19. Fringe, Buffy and the Middle (that show is really good).

The poll is not limited to this year nominations :-)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Vampire Diaries´ Nina Dobrev all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fringe, Buffy, Hannibal, 24, Orphan Black, SOA for Charlie Hunnam. The show went to pieces but his acting has not. Lana Parilla. Dylan O'Brien, Sleepy Hollow, Tom Mison. I have too many.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Seriously, where's the love for Bates Motel? Vera Farmiga should be a no-brainer, but Freddie Highmore blew me away as well this year. He's nuts on that show.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Spartacus, Hannibal, and Orphan Black................Tatiana Maslany must have enemies we don't know about! Nobody, 4 NOW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think ´NCIS` should get at least one nomination once... It´s been top drama for so long!

And couple of other shows would one too.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Too bad I could only vote for three options. I voted for TVD because of Nina Dobrev, and BtVS because it's always going to be a legendary show. Firefly was cheated out of more than just Emmys, and Dollhouse was such an original idea for a TV show that it blew me away. I don't know why anyone would have problems with these shows, but as long as there's the internet there will probably be a hater for everything.

  27. Hannibal, The Americans, Person of Interest.

  28. Does it look to you like Emmy worth acting?

Fringe, Hannibal, Buffy, Community and BSG.

    Lol Supernatural.

  31. It depends on what fails12 July 2014 at 18:14

I like TVD's first three seasons but the acting is cringeworthy.

Dobrev supporters argue the same way as Maslany fans, multiple characters = nomination.

Maslany is the show, Dobrev (as Elena), the weakest link.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Fringe, Hannibal and Community. TVD? Seriously?

    ReplyDelete
  33. LOL , can't pass by without mocking CW and SPN in particular, cant you? Ackles was nominated for Emmy 3 times, daytime but still. Nothing to lol about.

    ReplyDelete
  34. For acting : Hannibal and SPN.

Fringe, Hannibal and The Middle were my choices, but I feel like every one of those shows was snubbed. And surely Orphan Black too, seriously, no Tatiana? WTF? She still has more seasons to earn a nomination, but the emmys have let me down for years now, so I'm not holding my breath

  36. Hannibal is art in the form of TV. Can't believe it's gotten no Emmy love :(

  37. Bellamy young in scandal as mellie grant

  38. Fringe and Hannibal from the list. Not the kind of shows they usually go for.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bones, Castle, and Chuck

    ReplyDelete
  40. I can not believe this poster left out Orphan Black the best actress anyone has seen in a very long time. Playing 7 distinct and colorful characters!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I mean, what aspect of that show does NOT deserve recognition? The cinematography is ridiculously awesome, the acting is top-nodge, the final episode was very well written, special effects are great. Just... how can it not be nominated for anything?

unfortunately the voter refuses to vote for a military drama show yet they vote a political drama like house of card......make no sense!

    Best series-NCIS
Best actor-michael weatherly for Season 7 episode 1

  44. lol what's this comm ? maybe you don't love this show but Supernatural has enough fans to win several people choice awards. Proud to be part of the SPNFamily for 9 years. I'll be always part of it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. FRINGE. Best usages of doppelgängers I've ever seen in a TV series to date.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Pablo Troncoso13 July 2014 at 00:59

I actually forgot to include it in the poll, sorry! And I agree completely, Tatiana should have been nominated. She and Claire Danes are probably the best actresses in TV right now and I'd love to see them both on the same ground on the emmys

    ReplyDelete
  47. Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black should have been nominated for best acting.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Carole Ann Bollinger13 July 2014 at 01:08

    Beauty and the Beast.

    ReplyDelete
  49. My sentiments exactly. I loved all their interactions with each other this season, and they got even more into their roles.
I also picked "Community" from that list. Damn shame that the actors haven't won the big awards for that show.

    ReplyDelete
  50. A lot of these shows are some of my favorites. But doing my best to think like an academy member and not a fan.... Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Hush and The Body were two episodes that I thought were standouts that deserved a nomination. "The Body", especially, made it clear that the cast was not just a bunch of mediocre talented kids that could only get jobs on an off network show. This was a cast that deserved to be taken seriously at Emmy nomination time.

I also voted for Fringe. John Noble's performance is what made me watch the second episode and the third and the forth, etc. (I did NOT like the pilot.) I would never have gotten into the story if not for his performance.

I think Jensen Ackles deserves an Emmy nom too, but despite a few good performances (the end of All Hell Breaks Loose (1) is a standout) It's his work on Dark Angel that blew my mind and got me to check out Supernatural.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I agree with you about Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle. Man the two of them in the same scene was always electric.

    ReplyDelete
  52. people choice awards HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I don't why POI cannot get nominated for best drama......I guess cop show=big no from emmy

    ReplyDelete
  54. you can laugh but Supernatural is a long running show lots of tv-shows could be jealous of his fandom because of the writers, actors, crews and even us it's still on air for a 10th season. Always proud to be part of the SPNFamily.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh yes, I remember now. Yep, definitely should have been submitted for that.

  56. Jenn_FiveDollarShake14 July 2014 at 17:13

    The Bridge!

    ReplyDelete
  57. "lots of tv-shows could be jealous of his fandom" seriously? and people choice awards mean nothing compared to emmy fyi

    ReplyDelete
  58. Bates Motel, Hannibal, Fringe and Community.
And for the Emmys saying it isn't a "popularity contest" yeah....that's why they keep nominating TBBT and the worst season of AHS (but the highest rated) got more nominations than any other season.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Jensen Ackles was terrific on Dark Angel. I still can't believe they cancelled that show!

    ReplyDelete
  60. what happened with Dark Angel is one of those WTF were they thinking stories in TV land. it got a third season pick up then they changed. their mind to put Firefly on the schedule then sabotaged Firefly by not airing the intended pilot as the first episode.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Shocked no one has mentioned Manu Bennett! Best actor on the CW, period!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Yeah he is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  63. People choice awards is more important because it's the choice of the public. CW shows are too often ignored we are about 2 millions viewers mostly are part of the SPN fandom not only viewers. Some shows with more than 8 millions viewers come to the end and they're no bring back campagn from fans Supernatural is in his 10th season not by chance but they know the fandom is here.
