  1. Hard choice. I want to vote for Nina Dobrev, Tatiana Maslany, Maggie Q, Lena Headley. They all deserve it!

    Stana Katic!!!

  3. There are a lot of actresses that are great, Magie Q is my favorite out of this, but there is only 1 correct answer : Tatiana Maslany. I cant imagine anyone else in Orphan Black, every character she plays is so special, so different & well played

  4. Tatiana Maslany is an exceptionally actresses, each character she's portraying seems so individual, you forget she's playing all of them :)

    ReplyDelete
  5. You really cannot look beyond Tatiana Maslany. In the 20 Orphan Black episodes to date there hasn't been a single piece of poor acting or dialog from her, despite playing a dozen or so characters

Kerry Washington isn't far off and I'm sure she'll nab a win in a couple years. Stana Katic is superb but only when she has good material to work with -- something that isn't all that frequent on Castle unfortunately.

Tatiana, Nina, Lena or Maggie I think really deserve it. Lena probably has the highest chance out of them though.

  7. Emmy Rossum

  8. Not Kerry Washington, she already gets nominated and does not deserve it (I don't want to say its because she is black and we do not have enough leading black actresses on TV but that certainly helps, hopefully with new shows from superior actresses Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Alfre Woodward, Angela Bassett and Halle Berry things will change) . Its all about the hype with her.
Her performance is over the top, one note and completely unbelievable. Screaming or crying hysterically should not get you an Emmy, She looks like a lovely person but great actress IMO she is not.

  9. Lana Parrilla is truly deserving of an Emmy, its long overdue!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lena Headey and even though I haven't seen Orphan Black, I've heard that the main character actress Tatiana Maslany is really good at different roles so I think she should deserve to win an Emmy! Many have voted for her so it seems, what I've heard is true :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. Tatiana Maslany, Lena Headley and Lana Parilla of those choices.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Tatiana Maslany because she is hands down one of the best actresses on TV right now. Lana Parrilla because she is amazing at playing both Regina and the Evil Queen. Lena Headey because she makes you hate her so muc, utterly convincing as a villain.

    ReplyDelete
  13. You only need to watch a single episode, any episode, to see why Tatiana Maslany deserves an Emmy

    ReplyDelete
  14. Nina Dobrev deserves an Emmy for her work in TVD, she does every single character absolutely amazing and unique. Haven´t seen anyone do as many different characters as she does so different (Katherine, Elena, Amara, Emotionless Elena, etc.) And as a second choice, I chose Lana Parrilla, I love her in OUAT, she is really good.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Tatiana Maslany's work on Orphan Black is simply mind-blowing. She should have already got an Emmy.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Honestly most of these women do! Nina Dobrev and Tatiana Maslaney played so many great characters.
Megan Follows and Adelaide Kane deserve a nomination these year! They are great playing together!
On the other hand Kerry Washington and Emily VanCamp are great as well!

But the one and only Lana Parilla nailed it this season more than any of these girls!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Tatiana Maslany, no doubt

    ReplyDelete
  18. everyoneissleeping8 July 2014 at 12:59

Lana Parrilla because she is doing a brilliant job on OUAT. Tatiana Maslany because I am still amazed that someone can play so many distinctive
characters on one show and do it as well as she does.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Tatiana Maslany without a doubt.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Do you know Tatiana Maslany? I love Nina Dobrev but she's only doing 3 characters and Tatiana's doing at least 10 so if the best actress is the one's doing the most characters the better choice would be Tatiana, even if I love like you Nina Dobrev and Lana Parilla, they're all perfect in their roles. :)

  21. Connie, Kerry and Lena are the only ones who stood/stand even a faintest glimmer of a hope of winning Emmys for those particular shows. Everyone else needs to be on a different and/or better show.

Maggie Q, Lana Parrilla, Anna Torv, Tatiana Maslany, Connie.

Anna torv and Lena Headey easily. Both so incredible

    ReplyDelete
  26. From the poll I voted for Tatiana Maslany and Lana Parrilla, even though most of the actresses listed deserve a nom/win, I voted for those I think deserve it more. Actresses that are not on the poll but I would love to see get a nom/win at some point: Eva Green, Michelle Dockery and Emmy Rossum.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lana Parrilla & Tatiana Maslany both are crazy talented

    ReplyDelete
  28. Lana Parrilla hands down. I chose her cause she has more challenges in OUAT than other actresses here and she's been doing a great job portraying the evil queen , and Regina. both characters have huge differences, but she manages to balance them the right way

    ReplyDelete
  29. Constanza Núñez8 July 2014 at 14:11

    Stanaaaaa !!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. The most obvious choice is not even in the list, Emmy Rossum should've won every season, She has done an amazing job on Shameless from the pilot.

  31. Justyna Kubica8 July 2014 at 14:38

Many talented actress here but I'd pick Tatiana Maslany and Anna Torv.

    Lena Headey and Anna Torv..

    ReplyDelete
  33. Pablo Troncoso8 July 2014 at 15:02

Anna struggled a bit in S1, then improved in S2 and by S3 she was just outstanding. She played so many different versions of herself and did it so greatly that sometimes I believed Fauxlivia was being played by a completely different actress. She also made an outstanding impression of Leonard Nimoy when she was playing William Bell.
She was Tatiana Maslany before it was cool xD (Tatiana is outstanding too, and she should get an emmy too, but I think Anna Torv could have took on that role and Orphan Black would have been just as good)

  34. Pablo Troncoso8 July 2014 at 15:04

Just needed to clarify; but yeah, Anna Torv is one of the best actresses I've seen on TV! The display of different emotions, the way she moves with every character, so distintc and so especial makes me wonder why she wasn't even nominated. I always respected- and admire- the actresses that actually got nominated for emmys, but in S3 of Fringe I would have taken out Mariska Hargarita (as amazing as she is) and put Anna Torv there so she could win the emmy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Pablo Troncoso8 July 2014 at 15:04

    Very true

    ReplyDelete
  36. Spot on! She was so robbed in S3. I mean the episodes "Olivia" "Entrada" "Marionnette" "Bloodline" were more than emmy worthy. And the end of "Os" with Bellivia!!
    The good old time!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Pablo Troncoso8 July 2014 at 15:06

    Also add Anna Torv.
Honestly, Anna Torv, Tatiana Maslany and Nina Dobrev all do an amazing job at fleshing out multiple characters. Of them all I'd go with Anna because I feel more intensely with her characters than with Maslany or Dobrev, but I won't deny that both of those actresses are incredibly (and I would give the edge to Maslany over Dobrev, but the line is very thin)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Pablo Troncoso8 July 2014 at 15:08

Marionnette was surely emmy worthy, the scene where she is freaking out in her apartment was one of the best acting moments of the 2010-2011 TV season. Bloodline would have been a very good second choice

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh sorry, I just saw there was another Anna!
Regarding Fringe and the Emmys, you know at the end it's the same with John Noble. I'm still flabbergasted he wasn't nominated considering he actually deserved to win!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Let me go start Fringe again.
I miss this show so much. 😢

    ReplyDelete
  41. Pablo Troncoso8 July 2014 at 15:12

Oh my god! I'm still mad at that!
Even though I always thought Anna deserved AT LEAST a nomination, John Noble simply owned it. Seriously, episodes like "Peter", "White Tulip", "6:02 AM", "Worlds Apart" and "Black Blotter" were all enough to wipe out every other nominee! And that includes the utterly awesome Peter Dinklage!
I will never forgive the emmys for snubbing him while he worked on Fringe

    ReplyDelete
  42. Pablo Troncoso8 July 2014 at 15:13

Same here; it is my favorite show of all time, there hasn't been a show that could take its crown (though GoT surely is close at times)

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm telling you! Everyone praised him on Fringe like Tatiana and yet, he didn't get anything from the emmys. I mean when you see the difference of Walter/Walternate, the way he played them. I mean everything he did was perfect. It's a shame. Really.

    ReplyDelete
  44. GoT is also my new show. This cast is something else has well! Peter is just... Charles Dance, Lena and the list goes on and on.

Random thought: which of these actresses could tackle Tatiana Maslany's role on Orphan Black?
I'd say mainly Anna Torv and Nina Dobrev because they have vast experience with multiple characters, and probably Lana Parrilla too (though it would be weird to see her playing Tatina's characters, yet it could be really delightful!)

  46. Lana Parrilla and Tatiana Maslany!

Tatiana Maslany and Lana Parilla !

    Lana of course

  49. On a whole season one of Fringe struggled a bit..except for John character he nailed it from the get go.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Undoubtedly Lana Parrilla. Her performance in OUAT, both as the Evil Queen and as Regina, is absolutely outstanding and so touching. She has managed to reveal all the layers and the complexity of the character in such a powerful and emotional way, which hits the audience straight to the heart. Honestly, it's a real blessing and joy to watch her. She should have won an Emmy already and she definitely must win one in the future. Thank you Lana!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I really hope Lana is nominated for Supporting actress this year. She really deserves it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. On this list I'm going to go with Lana Parrilla she truly deserves an Emmy after all of the amazing performances that she made this season. Kerry Washington is a bad actress I'm sorry, she's just overrated. if season 3 as a whole has been like impetus and execution then I would've also said Emily vancamp, but season 3 has just been downright terrible. Hopefully season 4 will have better writing. I know that Emily vancamp is a good actress but the show just needs to be written better.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I voted for TM and Anna Torv and I'd like to point out that the former has shown to be an exceptional and talented shapeshifting actress herself. I would consider her a deserving "foremother" to the previous one ;)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Tatiana Maslany without question. Anna Torv is all pretty spectacular.

    ReplyDelete
  55. No doubt about it, Lana Parrilla. That woman is just an absolutely tremendous actress and she's definitely proved it on OUAT.

  56. Lana and Madeleine

  59. Anna Torv's work on Fringe, and Lana Parilla's work on Once Upon a Time, are both very deserving of Emmy's.

    Lana Parrilla. She is perfect!

  62. Monica Potter!!! #Parenthood

  63. Tatiana Maslany & Anna Torv! Both handled several characters in such amazing way, they could perform a whole evolving life story through so much more than just body language... If they don't deserve an Emmy, I think no one does!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Tatiana Maslany for sure!

    ReplyDelete
  65. And... Elizabeth Mitchell, for Lost.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Tatiana Maslany for sure. And Elizabeth Mitchell (but she already got a nomination. Anyway, she should have won).

    ReplyDelete
  67. Tatiana Maslany for sure. And Elizabeth Mitchell (but she already got a nomination for primetime Emmy. Anyway, she should get one for best actress in drama series for LOST... but now it's over.... anyway, she should have won).
