Coulson's plane. A bit surprised to see the plane rather than Lola in the poll, but I do prefer the plane, so... ;-) And since we have Star Trek in there - USS Voyager was nice, even if it kept breaking down because of those lovely innovations which were supposed to make it work better.
I think 3 stand out above all the rest as icons.. 1. Batmobile 2. General Lee 3. Enterprise Honorable Mention: Mystery Machine
You can show any of those vehicles to people of different generations and most people will recognize them. That said, I would take the TARDIS and go visit my younger self to relive some experiences or correct some mistakes! XD
Nice job, Emma. Love the choices. From the list I chose Dean's Baby of course, the Mystery Machine as a nod to childhood, and Other for Michael's Charger on Burn Notice and Stiles' Jeep on Teen Wolf.
It has to start off with Kitt from the Knight Rider, way before it's time cool car, the Enterprise from Star Trek, and Deans 67 Impala totattly a real classic, who would choose the SS minnow that bad boy went down, null and void for a great vehicle:)
It was way back when the original series was still airing, so I don't really remember much... other than a local television personality sitting in it to watch television... KITT might have been sent on a world tour to advertise the series, which is odd when you think about it since I live way down on the other side of the world!
That is interesting, since the shipping costs must have been astronomical even back then. It also makes even cooler that you got to see it. I'm jealous.
Yep, that and The Rockford Files stick in my mind. With Garner dying today I was going to add that, but could not recall if he had a special car... Been so, so long since I watched it.
I read that this afternoon. It's sad when the classics die, but he certainly lived life. I didn't really do the Rockford Files but I remember Maverick and some others.
This is much harder than I thought. On the one hand, I am such a huge fan of Batman I can't not vote for the Batmobile, on the other hand the Tardis is so beyond awesome and it's endless. And yet, there is Dean's car which is so much more than meets the eye. And if there was a fourth possibility there could also be the Enterprise, though granted it was better in the movies than in the TV series. And if we go sci-fi we have to talk Serenity and even if it's not technically a vehicle I would mention the Stargate.
I know right Ah Emma this is a wonderful, wonderful poll you submitted, you don't know how many fond memories it ensued from, the General Lee to the Mystery Machine, to Grandpa's hearse, and if course I can't Gilligen's theme out if my head, and after reading Dahne's post I can't shake the love boat theme gee Thanks, but the poll was worth it, great job.
