  5. --A lot of characters irritated me in this episode. First and foremost was James and Lafayette. I really think James has been looking for a reason to complain about Jessica so he could justify to himself the feelings he was starting to have for Lafayette. If James stopped for a second he would realize Jessica was having a hard time completely connecting with him because she felt so guilty for killing Andy's three daughters. Also, James should have noticed the reason why Jessica didn't want to leave the party was that Andy was allowing Jessica to be part of the celebration after Holly said yes to Andy's proposal. That is huge!! Yet James used Jessica's innocent wet blanket comment as an excuse to run off to Lafayette to have sex in a car. That is a lame arse move on both the men's parts. Lafayette may have been right in his comments to Jessica about how well she knows James, but that doesn't put him in the right with his actions.
--Can Violet just meet the true death already. Jason is tired of her antics, but how is he going to free himself from her? By the way, Violet better not hurt one red hair on Jessica's pretty head.
--I would love to give Nicole a pass for her outburst at the party considering the trauma she's been through, but I can't. Nicole forced her way into this community when she came to Bon Temps parading as some kind of freedom fighter, demanding Sam reveal himself as a shifter to fight for the supernatural cause. A cause she was not part of and couldn't understand. Well, she is going to have to understand it now since she is pregnant with a shifter baby. Part of that understanding is that this community of human and supernaturals was dealing with loss of loved ones while celebrating life.
--Bill has been having a lot of flashbacks to his past like there was a foreshadowing to his mortality. Now we see he has been infected. I don't think Sookie infected Bill though. I think he was infected while fighting the H-Vamps at Fangtasia.

  6. I am going to have to reply to my own post because I was locked out. Anyway, back to Bill. I loved it when he pointed out to Sookie that real integration was happening right in her own home.
--This episode made me feel for Sookie as she mourned for Alcide. That surprised me because I didn't think I would buy her grief after Sookie told Bill that Alcide loved her more than she loved him.
--I thought the bloodbath at the political convention was on the gratuitous side. We already knew the hit squad was ruthless, but I didn't think they were stupid to leave such collateral damage. After all, aren't they supposed to be on the stealthy side?
--I never thought Eric would be a terrible maker after seeing the connection to Pam through the years. However, he has fallen very short in his responsibilities to Willa. Now that she has been released, I hope Willa can find family with other vampires. I would love to see Bill and Jessica serve as her surrogate family because Willa is young and needs that connection.
--Looking forward to next week to see what happens next, especially to Bill.

  9. Sookie is definitely infected. and it looks like the virus is changing her too
I don't think the whole town suddenly thinking shes the most wonderful thing
ever was her being drunk or them being grateful, it was most likely something
    supernatural.

She lost Alcide, the H Vamps are gone and free food and drinks. Why would they bash her?

  11. I guess this means that a hep V cure is now on the way

  12. The Yakuza are stealthy, in reality. Whatever warped version of them True Blood is portraying is not, however. It's a shame HBO allowed them to tie the Yakuza name.

  13. I hope they don't kill off Bill or Eric.

I still like James whether or not he ends up with Lafayette or Jessica.

I thought this was one of the better eps of the season.

  14. not as good as last week, but better than the first 2 eps of the season... and of course the patented Ginger shriek didn't disappoint... lol didn't care for all the romantic hopscotch, and kinda disappointed that 2 seemingly stand up guys (James and Jason) went off and cheated even though they might be unhappy in their current relationships without trying to work it out/break it off with their partners first.... the not sure what to make of the Bill flashbacks, but the reveal that he is infected is an interesting twist that if their is no cure to be found by series end, that Sookie might end up alone... the Lettie Mae stuff bored me, but the best was easily the Eric/Pam "dressing up like assholes" adventures in Dallas
