Star Wars Episode VII Plot Details Revealed? (Rumor)
The opening image after the trademark title crawl, according to Bad, will be "a severed hand" that lands on a desert planet where it is discovered by two characters played by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega. There are no details on the characters these two will play, but they will recognize the lightsaber in the severed hand as one belonging to a former Jedi, so they attempt to return it to its owner.
Their quest takes them off world, and they meet up with Han Solo and Chewbacca, who aren't flying around in the Millenium Falcon anymore but are piloting... well, that could be a spoiler. I'll leave it. Anyway, Han and Chewie recognize the light saber as Luke's, and they say they haven't seen their friend in thirty years, since the events of Return of the Jedi."

ReplyDeleteI would believe it if the hand burnt up on entry into the atmosphere, seeing as it just fell from cloud city, through the gas planet and onto wherever it landed. (I'm assuming this is his hand from ESB and not his mechanical replacement of course)
