  2. "There's one person who knows who Amanda Clarke is and that's Jack."

Um, no. THAT'S NOLAN, and if you let go of your "romantic relationships are the end all be all of everything" mindset, you'll realize that too.

  3. TO: I've been hearing conflicting information about the first three episodes, especially where Hayley and Elijah are concerned. From what I've gathered, Elijah will grieve along with Klaus over Hope but will have his work cut out for him when it comes to redeeming Klaus and helping Hayley adjust to being more than just a werewolf. Klaus will want to do all kinds of nasty things out of revenge and Hayley will repeatedly reject any help from Elijah. I don't want to think about what Klaus will want to do to Davina when he finds out that she resurrected Mikael. Davina outlived her welcome on that show a long time ago.

As far as Hayley and Jackson, there isn't supposed to be any connection between them at all now that Hayley is a hybrid and "there's no love lost between the species." In "The Battle of New Orleans," it looked like Jackson had already accepted that Klaus was going to be a major presence in Hayley's life because of everything Klaus was doing for the Crescent clan mostly to please the future queen. The way that Jackson spelled it out for Hayley made me wonder if Jackson was, in a way, saying goodbye to the possibility of a future between the two of them. Furthermore, Elijah's behavior with Hayley couldn't have possibly escaped the werewolves' attention. She was lost to her clan BEFORE she became a hybrid. If Elijah worries about Hayley marrying Jackson, that'll be short-lived. I think Elijah will or should have to worry more about what the werewolves will want to do to him for taking Hayley away from them. The Guerrera werewolves probably won't be the last family of their kind to want to hurt Elijah, however temporarily. The difference is that the Crescent clan would be within their right.

Hayley is supposed to get revenge in a different way than Klaus will, and I have a feeling she will want revenge on the Originals for putting her in her current predicament. A lot of people take the option to die in transition, and Hayley might have done that if circumstances had been different, but Elijah didn't really give Hayley that choice. Both Klaus and Elijah put the baby, whose blood Hayley was craving, in her arms, and then Elijah later fed his niece to her own mother. That's really sick. I honestly hope that someone, if not Hayley, finds at least a small way to make Elijah pay for not only that but also manipulating Hayley into having a baby that she didn't want to begin with. I think it was the possibility of seeing Elijah out of his coffin that kept Hayley from having an abortion when she had the chance. Now she's a hybrid and everything that made her the kind of person who would sleep with Klaus has been exaggerated, not to mention the enhanced aggression she has now.

What would really be cool is if Jackson finds a way to repay the Originals, Elijah in particular, for taking away Jackson's clan's only hope at getting out of that bayou. Klaus might have looked disgusted at the sight of Hayley drinking Hope's blood for more than one reason. Hayley being a hybrid sets back a lot of progress that was being made. In addition to the return of Esther and Mikael, Marcel still has power over the werewolves in the bayou, including Klaus' tribe. Even if Francesca brought the two clans back into the city, they'll get exiled again when the Guerrera werewolves are killed. Considering that Oliver is now the enemy and the actor who plays Cary, the leader of Klaus' werewolf tribe, has a lot of movies to film, Jackson might be the only one available to step up and take action.

  4. "There's one person who knows who Amanda Clarke is and that's Jack." they are talking about the sweet girl she was before, i get it, Emily will go to him to find a way to be back to that girl that she once knew, but i think she will never be that girl anymore.

  5. i think they are alking about Amanda the sweet child she once was, in that case Jack is trully the one who knows her best, but i for one think that she will never be that girl anymore, she can try but she wont be that person again.

  6. That's just silly, though. Knowing someone as a child (especially when it's only for one summer) doesn't mean you know them as an adult. People change a lot as they grow up and that's even if they don't undergo the traumatic events that Emily did. It all comes down to the fact that this whole Emily/Jack thing is trite and unconvincing, in my opinion. I have no problem believing they care about each other a lot because of their history, but don't try to tell me Jack knows her better than anyone else because that's ridiculous, like Laurel supposedly knowing Oliver best on Arrow.

  7. TO: Can they stop giving us spoilers about Hayley? I don't care about Hayley at all. How about a spoiler about The Originals for a change?

This was exaly why I was against Jack/Emily in the beginning, I hate how they always try to sell the childhood love storyline. And the whole Jack knows her best thing is a joke, I mean he knew her so well that she fooled him for what, two seasons? Oh yeah! no one knoews her like he does... Lol.
OoT: The Laurel thing is another one that bothers me. I'm one of the few that likes Laurel, but everytime the writers tell us she knows Ollie better than anyone else, I want to gag. She knew him so well she didn't realize he cheated on her with at least two other women, one he knocked up and the other one her own sister... seriously! If they want us to believe this things, they have to show us, they can't just tell us and expect us to accept it even when the evidence is completely against it.

  9. Same here. I thought the show was called The Originals? Bring back Rebecca and give her all if not half of Hayley's screen time and just maybe they can save season 2.

  10. I think Claire Holt doesn't want to do the show. But they could easily replace Hayley with Kol (Nate was on-board with doing the show but they chose to exclude him even though he's an Original Vampire).

  11. Exactly - show, don't tell. They want to create these epic romances, but they're too lazy to make the effort of actually telling a believable and nuanced story, so instead they just TELL us, "These two people are soulmates. Deal!"
