  2. Justyna Kubica10 July 2014 at 13:40

I actually decided to live-tweet the nominations, so thanks for the link :)

    ReplyDelete
  3. No Tatiana maslany :O

    ReplyDelete
  4. WTF, Tatiana Maslany, you deserved a nomination :(

    ReplyDelete
  5. It depends on what fails10 July 2014 at 13:47

At least Caplan got in. Viriginia Johnson is one of the best female characters

Emmy repeated every actor except for the ones in True Detective for the best actor, including overrated Jeff Danniels that ROBBED Cranston.

    ReplyDelete
  6. It depends on what fails10 July 2014 at 13:48

Kerry Washington is so overrated. Overacts every scene.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Kerry Washington, Uhu Uhu! She needs win.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Don't they get bored of nominating the same shows & actors over and over and over again?

    ReplyDelete
  9. No Tatiana Maslany! Someone's rigged this!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Why would they? That would be far too out there.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It depends on what fails10 July 2014 at 13:51

Also, they repeated every best drama nomination except Homeland.

And how the mighty have fallen, two years ago Homeland was celebrated, now that's crap, not even Claire Danes got a nomination.

Surprised that Macy got a nomination for Shameless, pissed when he loses to Jim Parsons.

    ReplyDelete
  12. To be honest every year that this incredible actress isn't nominated, my opinion of the how valid the Emmy's really are goes down substantially.

    ReplyDelete
  13. We should get Helena on them!

    ReplyDelete
  14. She did get a nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I will be bombarded with stones, but I honestly don't think Maslany is the biggest miss in the lead actress category...

    ReplyDelete
  16. The Good Wife wasn't nominated for Best Drama??????? UGH

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ugh. Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle snubbed again.

    ReplyDelete
  18. No Matthew Rhys & The Americans!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. That isn't even the worst part. They should try and explain how on earth OITNB is considered to be comedy. On what universe, people?

    ReplyDelete
  20. My thoughts exactly!

    ReplyDelete
  21. He did get nominated for supporting actor.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Girls is so effing over-rated.

    ReplyDelete
  23. And the TV Gods were not looking down upon us today....

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm somewhat happy with these nominations, but Bellamy Young was robbed.

    ReplyDelete
  25. My wishful thinking that Cristin Milioti would get a nom, lol

    ReplyDelete
  26. Justyna Kubica10 July 2014 at 14:03

He actually did get nominated. Yay! Fingers crossed.

    ReplyDelete
  27. And how did Fargo not get nominated for miniseries, this is an outrage!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Christopher DeBono10 July 2014 at 14:05

Glee is nominated for 'Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series'...
So who do we think slept around to get them that nomination?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I was surprised by that one too.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:06

How the hell Cristin Milioti didn't get nominated?!
Also, isn't this basically a copy paste from last year nominations? (With the clear swap of Homeland for True Detective in the best drama nominees)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh cool, I must have missed it in my disappointment

    ReplyDelete
  32. I can't even deal with TGW BS and Tatiana BS again.
Glad Joe Morton is nominated. Charles Dance and Peter Dinklage is the same category is so tough. I'd pick Charles.
Hope Diana Rigg wins as well.
Best Supporting Actress in a Drama : Go Maggie and Lena!
Another tough call is Supporting Actress in Mini Series : A. Bassett, Conroy and Kathy Bates. Angela MUST WIN.
Another robbed was Lorraine Toussaint for Vee in OITNB.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I had to read that category twice because I thought I must have skipped her name. Shame.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Christopher DeBono10 July 2014 at 14:09

Surprised they consider him a supporting actor. If anything he should be one of the lead actors.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Love Scandal, but wholeheartedly agree.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Allison Janney got two noms, well deserved for Mom, don't watch Masters of Sex.

    ReplyDelete
  37. And can I say how annoying it is to keep clicking "next" on the nominations page on the Emmy website.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Christopher DeBono10 July 2014 at 14:14

Especially when some of the categories cut off halfway and are split over 2 pages.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Is Tatiana going to be the Leo of the EMMY Awards?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I hope not, otherwise it's going to be a while and I don't want that

    ReplyDelete
  41. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:16

NO NOMINATION FOR PEDRO PASCAL ON GOT?! WTF?!
Joe Morton did a good job on Scandal, but he did not deserve to be nominated over Pedro Pascal!
    This is an outrage!
On the bright side, Amy Poheler got nominated (but Parks and Rec didn't get nominated for outstanding comedy series?!?! Seriously, cut it out with Modern Family, it's not as good as it used to be!) and Andre Braugher scrapped a nomination too, so not everything is bad...

    ReplyDelete
  42. Would be nice if GoT wasn't considered an ensemble.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:20

Someone can please explain me how True Blood gets nominated for Oustanding Stunt Coordination AND ARROW DOESN'T?!?!?!?!
I guess I have to settle with the fact that Revolution did get nominated and will wipe out the others nominees (even GoT), but damn it! Arrow deserved to own that category!

    ReplyDelete
  44. That it great news , i must of missed part of the Nominations. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  45. It depends on what fails10 July 2014 at 14:20

I'm no Scandal hater (don't watch on regular basis it but I've seen it some times) and she is the weakest link of the show.

Her chacter enters because the emmys love female power, but I pick Caplan over her by a landslide, even more considering that Lizzy's character is from a show set in the 50s.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That it great news , i must of missed part of the nominations. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Glad to see Peter nominated must of missed it the first time around.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Don't understand the Downton Abbey love, okay the Anna role deserved a nomination this year! No Tatiana Maslaney, awful! True Detective is an even bigger mystery to me, not a fan.

This seriously become a "Who other people say should get nominated" type of Award!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Completely agree he has been in the nearly every episode so if anything he is the lead actor in the show, i wonder who the lead actor is? Kit Harrington maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  50. So the Emmys are basically awards for the cable TV Shows and for some shows that aren´t from cable but that they consider that those shows are good only because they have a lot of audience.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I hadn't even noticed that.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:23

True, there are so many shows that didn't get the recognition they deserved!
For one I'm most upset about Pedro Pascal not getting nominated, same for Tatiana Maslany, and Arrow being left out of the outstanding stunt coordination category (for True Blood?!?! WTF?!). Also, how didn't they sway in Parks and Rec in outstanding comedy?
I can keep going, but I better just try to forget all this.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think i missed it as well , which is weird because i was watching the nominations live.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:23

    Pretty much

    ReplyDelete
  55. same old, same old...

    ReplyDelete
  56. More deserved for Masters of Sex, actually. One of the noms I am truly glad for.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I agree. Plus this season of Scandal was really "MEH" too much of Olivia not doing anything but complaining about her life. MoS on the other hand had a phenomenal season.

    ReplyDelete
  58. This nominations are a joke as usual. No Hannibal? No Community? No Vera Farmiga?

Also it's a joke that Arrow didn't get a nomination for Stunt Coordination. I don't care if it's on The CW that guy deserves to win.
At least I hope Idris Elba and Luther win.

    ReplyDelete
  59. FFS why does The Blacklist get nominated for Outstanding Stunt Coordination and Arrow doesn't?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:25

I think Robin Wright should get out and Tatiana should go in. Or Kerry Washington could also take a break.
Those two actresses are good, but Tatiana is FAR better

    ReplyDelete
  61. Christopher DeBono10 July 2014 at 14:26

    CW bias strikes again :(

    ReplyDelete
  62. Can't be 'no CW bias' because The Originals got a nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:26

Haven't seen Blacklist so I can't really comment on that, but I'm really mad about Arrow being left out. DAMN IT EMMYS!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:26

Really? In what category? Didn't see it!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Christopher DeBono10 July 2014 at 14:26

    Oh the Originals was nominated?
    Huh...

    ReplyDelete
  66. The Originals got a nomination for Outstanding Hairstyling For A Multi-Camera Series Or Special

    ReplyDelete
  67. Outstanding Hairstyling For A Multi-Camera Series Or Special

    ReplyDelete
  68. They give awards for hairstyling?

    ReplyDelete
  69. It explains TBBT getting nominated every year.

    ReplyDelete
  70. The Blacklist has very few stunts, from what I remember.

    ReplyDelete
  71. So did I,lol...!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:28

I'd say it's more like they are saying:
Emmy voter 1"oh, hey guys, we should give at least something to the CW, they are trying"
Emmy voter 2: "Outstanding Stunt Coordination for Arrow"
Emmy voter 1: "Don't be silly! That's too good for them! Give them Oustanding Hairstyling"

    ReplyDelete
  73. Also The 100. Still Stunt Coordination for Arrow was the only CW nomination I cared about because it was one that they could get and it was totally deserved.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Well then they su**, it pisses me off that they don´t see the talent that some actors of the CW, for example. Or that they never nominate "teen" shows, like they call them, or actors from those "teen" shows, because they are worthy of a nomination just as much as the ones nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Christopher DeBono10 July 2014 at 14:29

Huh...is this the first Emmy nomination the CW has ever gotten?
I just went and checked the Supernatural and Vampire Diaries awards, neither has a nomination listed and they'd probably be the most likely.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Just saw Revolution and Almost Human get a nod!

    ReplyDelete
  77. The same effin shows get the same boring nominations...there are so many other shows and so many other people that deserved to be nominated. OUAT's Lana Parilla and Robert Carlyle, Tatiana Maslany, Wendi McLendon-Covey (she plays the mom in The Goldbergs), basically the whole cast of Trophy Wife and the show itself, Vera Farmiga, The Middle, Madeleine Stowe from Revenge, Good Wife, Blacklist, Hannibal and even Arrow and Reign should've been nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Oh yeah. Forgot about The 100.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I had no idea, I'm kinda shocked. They can give a category based to hair and not nominate Tatiana Maslany, what's become of the world :(

    ReplyDelete
  80. Nikita got 2 nominations.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:30

    You and me both!

It's like they did with Fringe during S2-5! They never learn... seriously, Modern Family for best comedy? AGAIN?! The show is not nearly as good as it used to be! And it's probably going to win again anyway,

    *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  82. I don't think you will ever see Ouat or anyone affiliated with OUaT get a nod from the Emmy's.It just won't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:30

The 100 got nominated?! What category?!

    ReplyDelete
  84. It just keeps going! There are so many shows that are getting pushed just for the sake of Who knows what!
Their perspective is just bad! I mean they need fresh wind in the house! They are so much pushing Cable shows that it got boring.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:31

Sad, Lana Parrilla should get nominated down the line, she is just that good of an actress!
OUAT may be an irregular show and far from being worth of outstanding drama series, but the actors and actresses on it are great (most of them anyway)

    ReplyDelete
  86. Outstanding Special And Visual Effects for 'We Are Grounders Part 2'.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Oh cool, didn't for Almost Human, didn't see that one :)

    ReplyDelete
  88. No Lana Parrila , No Mads Mikkelsen , No Eden Sher , No Hugh Dancy , the list could go on.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:32

I hope they win it! I mean, seriously, they went full budget on that episode and it was awesome!
I'll be rooting for them! (even though I believe they won't win it)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Almost Human got a nod for Special and visual effects and Revolution for stunt work.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ridiculous that someone as one note as Kerry Washington in Scandal gets a nomination 2 times in a row but Tatiana Maslany, Eva Green, Keri Russell do not even get a mention. Terrible!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Awesome, those are well deserved. Thanks for telling me :)

    ReplyDelete
  93. It's one of the worst shows I have ever watched. If it wasn't on HBO the critics would trash it.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Game of Thrones was also nominated in that category. I don't know why they bother tbh...

    ReplyDelete
  95. Wait Arrow didn't get nominated for Stunt Coordination?

    ReplyDelete
  96. I just howled with laughter, and then felt the utter realness of what you said and am now sullen and depressed.

    ReplyDelete
  97. The only shows I watch that got nominated are The 100, OUAT, Almost Human unless I missed some. I never pay much attention to these things, normally it's the stuff I hate the most that gets nominated...and wins :/ They're usually too predictable imo

    ReplyDelete
  98. Nope. The Blacklist, Game of Thrones, Grimm, Hawaii Five-0, Revolution and True Blood.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Congrats to Andre Braugher for Brooklyn Nine-Nine

    ReplyDelete
  100. Kerry Washington? Really? I like Scandal but that woman overacts, Nina Dobrev should have gotten a nomination, oh wait, she is from a "teen" show from the CW and TVD is not a "mature" show, then scr** her and all similar to that, this is how their mind works.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Arrow didn't get nominated for Outstanding Stunt Coordination or for any of the sound categories (I don't really understand the difference between most of them). What a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  102. They robbed Vera as well.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I think Lana Parilla and Robert Carlyle should have nominated in S1 but now that the writing has become terrible and the show a joke I doubt they will ever get a nominated. Still that hasn't stopped some shows that have become terrible (Scandal, Glee, TBBT, AHS) of getting nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Scandal was awful in season 3 and so was Kerry Washington, the only reason she gets a nomination is because she is black and there are not enough black actresses on TV in leading dramatic roles. This will change next year as Octavia Spencer, Halle Berry, Viola Davis and Alfred Woodard will be in prominent roles and they are all 100 times better! People should not be nominated for a show's popularity or because they are a nice person.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Wholeheartedly agree. Lena is even more overrated. Nothing "ground breaking" about Girls. It's basically a mess.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I watch all of those shows (apart from Grimm). Arrow would have blown them all out of the water in that category (only competition would have been from Game of Thrones). The blacklist has barely any stunts in it whatsoever. I love True Blood, I really do. But how on Earth did it get nominated for stunts over Arrow? That's ludicrous.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Sorry but we are gonna disagree here. Joe Morton is the one who deserves it the most on the list. I love Pedro but no way.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I hope The 100 wins too. Especially because The CW has a small budget compared to the other networks and sometimes their Special Effects are a million times better than other tv shows.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I'm guessing you must already be stoned to think that ;)

    ReplyDelete
  110. I agree,Lana Parrilla truly deserves to win or at least get nominated but it seems some shows never get nominated and the actors with those shows get overlooked, especially fantasy/syfy series...

    ReplyDelete
  111. As much as I didn't want to make it about Race, I do believe that played a part in her nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Don't even start with Fringe. I'm still mad about that Anna Torv and John Noble should have been nominated every year since S2.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I can let by Revolution (and Game of Thrones, despite my hatred towards it), and Hawaii Five-0, which does actually do some great stunts. I don't watch Grimm or True Blood so can't comment, but The Blacklist?! When were there any stunts, other than an exploding plane in the finale?!

    ReplyDelete
  114. FFS no Hannibal? Mads Mikkelsen? Vera Farmiga? Charles Dance on GoT?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Thats true. But Madeleine Stowe should've definitely gotten a nom. Her and Revenge have been so good this season. The Middle and Blacklist as well.

    ReplyDelete
  116. People can say whatever they want about Revolution but the stunt work and action scenes are pretty good. But True Blood? The Blacklist? It doesn't make any sense.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:43

One of the few emmy voters calls that actually made sense. I'll be rooting for him!

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yeah, the stunts on Revolution were fantastic.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Yay for Cosmos on it's Emmy Nominations :)

    ReplyDelete
  120. Revenge bounced back this season but I doubt they are ever going to be nominated again. If your show isn't on cable or isn't popular enough with the audience it will get overlooked.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:46

In my opinion Joe Morton was quite dull in his performance, too stiff to even feel alive, while Pedro Pascal made for a fully living character. I'm not saying Joe Morton is bad actor, but his role on Scandal wasn't nearly as good as Pedro Pascal's on GoT, at least in my opinion

    ReplyDelete
  122. Pretty sure The 100 got nominated because it feels more like a cable show than a broadcast show (and certainly not a CW show).

    ReplyDelete
  123. Hehe, no, I just miss Vera Farmiga and Keri Russell so much more... Maslany is obviously good and has a challenge bonus for playing several characters, but I unfortunately can't warm up to the roles as much as everyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:47

That's BS! I would have totally give the nom to Emily VanCamp or Madeleine Stowe over Robin Wright or Kerry Washington! Seriously, what are the emmy voters watching?! And why are they so biased?!?!
    I'm so mad right now

    ReplyDelete
  125. Different opinions here my friend. Everything you say about Pedro is true but I feel the exact same for Joe Morton. He saved S3 for me. Can we talk about Charles Dance not being nominated though? I'm fuming.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I can't believe Vera didn't get a nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Oh, I almost forgot: EVA GREEN! I will only accept her lack of nomination if submissions were over when Penny Dreadful started. She should be there, for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I think Kerry Washington is beautiful and talented but her acting is ok. Race shouldn't matter. Angela Bassett and Idris Elba deserved their nominations but she didn't.
I agree that next season better poc actresses are getting lead roles.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Sleepy Hollow got a nomination for music! Awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  130. They hate us. They hate sci-fi. Tatiana Maslany is having the same Anna Torv/John Noble treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:51

At least that's something; I had a slim hope that Tom Milson could get nominated, but I knew it wouldn't happen. For what's worth, emmy voters know the show exists

    ReplyDelete
  132. Mostly it's the same old, same old. Bellamy Young deserved a nod more than Kerry Washington. Congrats to first time nominees Matt Bomer, Lizzy Caplan, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Morton, Mark Ruffalo and the woman of OITNB.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 14:52

I can't go through this again!
Torv and Noble both deserved nominations and wins, it makes me so mad that they didn't get the chance! And now Tatiana!
    AFSAOPKGDOFDKJGEODODFS!!! I'm so mad!

    ReplyDelete
  134. She'll never get nominated. I have accepted that.

    ReplyDelete
  135. So you hate True Detective, Fargo, Luther, Treme, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Mad Men, Louie, but you like The 100, Once Upon a Time, Penny Dreadful and Almost Human? You have terrible taste buddy.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Cue the network tv appologists whining s**t like Once Upon a Time and Arrow don't get nominated. Bwhahaha...

    ReplyDelete
  137. Once Upon a Time did get a nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  138. In your opinion apparently I do. I havent even heard of some of the shows you listed :/

    ReplyDelete
  139. Cue to people who think they are superior because they only watch cable shows and don't understand some shows deserve nominated in some categories more than some cable shows. Nobody can defened True Blood's nomination over Arrow for stunt coordination but I doubt you watch network tv shows because they aren't "good enough" for you.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Most of the shows allexx listed are on cable.HBO,BBCA,AMC and such.If you ever get a chance you might want to check them out. :)

    ReplyDelete
  141. She was great in that, definitely well deserved.

    ReplyDelete
  142. It actually annoys me how predictable these nominations are becoming every year, the same old every year. I'm gutted that James Spader/The Blacklist wasn't nominated nor Andy Samberg or Brooklyn-Nine-Nine for best comedy series.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Belizo Júnior10 July 2014 at 15:01

i agree. and how is possible they snubbed Tatiana maslany and orphan black AGAIN?

    ReplyDelete
  144. Belizo Júnior10 July 2014 at 15:02

    i hate that show .

    ReplyDelete
  145. It has stunts in every single episode

    ReplyDelete
  146. Spader definitely deserved it.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Scandal got 3 nominations for an over the top, badly acted, mess of a season. I understood the love for season 2 which was good but season 3 was terrible. Emmys are cashing in on its popularity. With such good acting out there and so many amazing shows, Scandal shouldn't have received a single nomination.

    ReplyDelete
  148. It seems like they nominate the same shows and the same crap every year. I still can't explain how something as terrible as Girls and Lena Dunham's "acting" gets nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Not like Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Happy for Once Upon a Time's Costume Emmy Nomination for 'A Curious Thing'.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Carried the show single-handedly. If it wasn't for him, I doubt the show would have been renewed, let alone renewed before Christmas. That alone shows how good he is.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Robin Wright definitely deserved it in my opinion, she is great on her show. Kerry Washington nom is a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Just because it isn't your taste does not mean they have terrible taste. Haven't you heard the expression to each his own.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Why was Mindy Kaling not nominated for an Emmy? She was robbed. If anyone should've not got a nomination, hands down, Melissa McCarthy.

Also, Bellamy Young not being nominated was such a shame.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 15:06

I actually understood Kerry Washington last year, but this year?! S3 of Scandal essentially forgot who Olivia was! Both the script and the performance weren't up to the task

    ReplyDelete
  156. I tried the pilots for Fargo, Breaking Bad & Game of Thrones but I didnt like them :/ Im mainly into sci-fi/fantasy stuff or shows that are deep and intense (usually those type of shows are really well acted and written as well)

    ReplyDelete
  157. Yeah, mind blowing. But its a popular show with viewers in the USA and the Emmys need to make money I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Pablo Troncoso10 July 2014 at 15:08

Sadly I agree; the show deserved its nomination last year, but this year?

    ReplyDelete
  159. If anyone should have been nominated on Scandal it should have been her, she is 10 times the actress of Kerry Washington.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Breaking Bad:

    Outstanding Writing: Ozymandias, Felina
    Outstanding Cinematography: Granite Slate
Outstanding Picture Editing: To'Hajillee, Granite Slate, Felina
    Outstanding (Non-Prosthetic) Makeup: Ozymandias
    Outstanding (Prosthetic) Makeup: Felina
Outstanding Sound Editing & Mixing: Felina

With the exception of Prosthetic Makeup, if Breaking Bad didn't submit Ozymandias for the other categories, why not? And if they did, why didn't it get nominated over the episodes that did?!

  161. Also sucks that over these many years, Sandra Oh has never won an Emmy. Absolutely appalling but probably because of their bias towards cable tv. Seriously, if your show is not named Modern Family, TBBT, The Good Wife or Scandal you don't get into the major categories.

  162. Ik, Arrow should've been nominated but The Blacklist deserved it too

    ReplyDelete
  163. got no chance against the Modern Family actors unfortunately

    ReplyDelete
  164. Not in favour of Arrow. No chance.

    ReplyDelete
  165. No way should The Blacklist be nominated and Arrow not. Should be the other way around.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I disagree, I think Arrow should be in the place of another show, but not TB.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Blacklist is the only one I can criticise being in there. I don't watch GoT, Grimm or True Blood, and I agree with Hawaii Five-0 and Revolution being in there.

    ReplyDelete
  168. fine lets agree to disagree, but we both agree on the fact that Arrow should've been nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  169. they didn't show supporting actors on the live announcement

  170. WHY IS LANA SNUBBED AGAIN? WHY?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  171. Yep. Second year in a row that Arrow has been snubbed for Outstanding Stunt Coordination. Joke. I know it wouldn't win (because Game of Thrones has also been nominated and that wins everything), but it would be nice to be nominated at least.

  172. urgh I know, I wish they'd nominate different shows for a change instead of the same old same old.

    ReplyDelete
  173. the Emmy voters obvious bias against network series not named Modern Family, TBBT, The Good Wife or Scandal probably.

  174. Even though I'm mad about Tatiana and Vera not getting anything, I am really happy about Lizzy Caplan, Allison Janney and the OITNB nominations!

I'd personally suggest giving Game of Thrones the 4 episode test. It started out slow but improved with every episode.

  176. I'm not 100% sure how it works but these picks are from June 1, 2013 to May 31, 2014 so Penny Dreadful aired 3 episodes.

  177. Ho hum. I can't count the shows I actually watch on one hand. At least the CW got nominated for 2 awards. Absolute disgrace that Arrow wasn't nominated for stunts though.

    ReplyDelete
  178. The Blacklist for stunts. The Blacklist. Really?

    ReplyDelete
  179. The Good Wife was outstanding this season so I think they deserved every nomination they got.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Compared to Arrow, Grimm is lacking as well.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Don't watch Grimm so can't comment. I'm cool with Revolution and H50 being on there - both deserve it. But Arrow has been snubbed two years running. I am livid.

    ReplyDelete
  182. At least Leo gets nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Supernatural has been nominated 3 times. Smallville was nominated I think 7 times and one once, but that might have been when it was still the WB.

    ReplyDelete
  184. The 100 also got a nod for scepial and visual effects.

    ReplyDelete
  185. What a joke.

I'm happy for The Normal Heart overdose, but everything else is so off... No Orphan Black, Bates Motel, Vikings or In The Flesh. Way too many American Horror Story and Downton Abbey (I like both shows but this past seasons were not that great).

And I guess I'll have to chek out The Good Wife and Homeland, these two actresses get a nomination every bloody year, they must be the shit.
