Oh man, I really loved this episode, even when it had a few loose ends here and there. In my last review, I was worried that they would quickly tie the storylines up in the last few minutes. Luckily for me, they stretched it over the whole episode while opening up a new direction for them. It didn't feel rushed but ended this shaken season on a high note for me. And that cliffhanger! That was original. I can't remember a tv show that did a shooting at the wedding. Or at least not in this way. Who is shot?! Valentina? Rosie? Spence? One of the extra's? No, that would be too easy.

I'll start off with the most important mystery of the whole season: Who did Nicholas kill? My theory was proven right as it was Barrett Powell. I think that Marisol was more the Marisol that we knew during season 1 here. She went to the police, but like I thought, it wasn't too easy as this evidence was too thin. It also happened too many years ago for the police to do something. Marisol then thereafter went to Nicholas and demanded that he should go to the police as he is indirectly guilty for Dahlia and Opal's death. Usually I think such a rant is obsolete, but Marisol had good reasons to voice. I'm happy that Nicholas pulled through and with some gesture from Marisol, he finally told the Powells. But he sure had a bad timing as it happened on the anniversary of the Powells. The hit and run was in a way related to Dahlia and Opal since it was the confessing from Dahlia that made Nicholas not to look at the street. I think the Powells was very brave here, since they can be cruel if they wanted to do. With Nicholas gone, Evelyn and Adrian finally comes closer together as they forgive each other for everything that happened in the last fifteen years. I thought it was gonna turn the other way around because in the last episode, they were happy and that this confessing would break them up. When we left them, they looked relieved as they can let go the pain that has been obscuring them for fifteen years. I'm excited to see what's gonna happen with them in Season 3. I'm sure there will be another problem on the horizon, because they wouldn't be exciting if they were too loveydovey the whole season. We didn't see Nicholas going to the police but assuming the state Marisol was in, he went to the police. Is Marisol going to be richer than before now that she has everything? Nicholas will be sure in jail for 10 years or something like that. As this storyline closed, no new storyline opened up. So we don't know anything for now.

Grade: A- (I would give murder mystery solving a B+, but the aftermaths of the Powells made this grade going up to an A-)

Rosie. What a beautiful bride do you make! I almost didn't recognize you until you did the shy shrugging and looking down. As Reggie's story went to close last episode, that turned Rosie into problems since Reggie made the files disappear. I didn't think that Rosie would marry Spence until I told my sister that this episode would be the last of this season. She said: Oh, that Rosie is sure gonna marry Spence for the rights to stay in America. Lucky for Rosie, Spence didn't made it all about the deportation but said that it was because he didn't want to let her go away one more time. They made sure that they marry for the right reasons. That's it until Rosie sees Spence spending money. All those years, I thought that you would know Spence too well to discover this at the last minute. Rosie had a sort of wedding anxiety in not trusting Spence with his money. The other ladies made those reasons disappear with one reason: She can manage it and she deserved to be happy. True that! But she became involved in the falling out of another storyline. That of Carmen and Tyler. Masked, Tyler just shot in the wild while they came out of the chapel. Rosie isn't dead. Or else they wouldn't show us that Ernesto, the father of Miguel, is still alive. The police raided some building and found him. They thought that the cartel killed him five years ago. What did Ernesto do? And if he does come to America, would that make Rosie's marriage to Spence null and void? Or doesn't marriage from Mexico (I think?) get valid? Either way, this will make a new interesting storyline. I think none will be dead, just injured in the hospital. I really hope it isn't Val who is dead. That would make her and Remy a tragic love story and a difficult way for Zoila to go. The kidney from Valentina for Genevieve? Please no. That would be impossible for Remy to manage. Sacrifice his love for the life of his mother. That would be difficult for Zoila too because add to the top of that, Zoila is preggers! Wow!

Grade: B+ (just for the sake of the cliffhanger)

Zoila. Oh, Zoila. Zoila. Zoila. I feel ya. You thought that you did good by breaking up with Javier and go back to Pablo (apparently I spelled his name wrong in the last review). But as she went back to Pablo, she gets a sort of saved-by-the-bell wake up by Helen who turned up to give Pablo's last things back. What Helen said made Zoila rethink her decision as Helen said that he is a lying bum. What did he do? Cheat on her with another woman? And as it turned out, Helen broke up with him a month ago. Zoila then went back to Javier. YES! #TeamJavier! Javier was at the wedding too, so I hope he didn't get shot. Sigh, too many people on that wedding who I don't want to get shot. If Pablo was a shield, I would be okay with it. Give his kidney to Genevieve and leave Zoila to be happy with Javier. Done. That Pablo got more villainous by rescinding his offer of kidney donation. But before the wedding Zoila gets a call from the doctor. She thinks it's all about the kidney donation, but as it looks like, they did a normal blood sampling before the kidney testing. She's pregnant! Please let it be Javier's. That would be the final nail in coffin for Zoblo as Valentina is old enough and Pablo doesn't have a reason to stay in Zoila's life anymore. I want a little Javier Jr. That would be so cute!

Grade: C+ (Not bad but not good either)

Carmen just got fired by Rosie for good reasons. Then as she went to the bar drinking, she met another guy (Hello Gilles Marini! You sure do how to pop up in a few shows here and there and be eye candy.) who at first looks like he's an ordinary guy. But he got her a meeting at a famous record. Discerna Records? Really? Can't you make a more modern name? Or is all the hot names already taken? Alright, getting on with the story. Carmen is happy and they have sex. But just right thereafter, he confessed that the meeting is with HIS wife. Way to be a jerk! Ex-wife, I hope? Cause it's time for Carmen to shine since Alejandro's death. Where's Odessa by the way! But the aftermaths of Alejandro's death proved to be too much for Tyler as he wanted to kill Valentina. The other guys backed out or disappeared into thin air (Bye Ethan, I was almost impressed with you but Remy was always the hero for me). Valentina gets a stage in New York and wants Remy to come with him. But since Genevieve doesn't get a kidney after all, he's going to stay. As Valentina left, he said: Why can't we catch a break? Uh oh. Please, don't let this be a foreshadowing of Valentina's death. Storywise, now that she's back together with Remy and has a stage in New York, what's left for her to do? Hmm. Please no. Tyler managed to find Valentina but it's at the wedding. I thought he was going to be sniper and hit Valentina from afar. He just drives by and shoots in the wild. Carmen saw it too late. As the wedding goes frantic, the episode stops. Noooooooooooooo.

Grade: B- (This tied up to the Rosie storyline, but since Tyler was involved and Carmen had an ok storyline, I just gave this a B-)

Whew. What a season finale! I really love how they did this. Closing the storyline slowly, opening up a new story along the way. Is the Powells finished as they were redeemed of themselves by hearing who killed Barrett? Where the hell is Tony? Is Valentina dead and would this make more difficult for Genevieve, Remy and ultimately Zoila? What to do with Pablo? What's left of Marisol? Is she going to take a backseat to the other storylines like Carmen sorta did this season? Zoila is pregnant, so are you #TeamPablo (mind you!) or #TeamJavier (Please, yes!)? What's Rosie going to do if Ernesto turns up? Leave Spence and go back? Or stay? So many questions! So head out to the comments section if you have a theory to answer me. What did you think of this episode? Comment! Do you have your hopes high? Comment!

And this brings my reviewer task to a close this season. Right in time, as I'm flying off to Italy tomorrow to enjoy my long needed vacation! But that doesn't mean I won't be reading your comments. So go for it!

Notes:
- Best storyline goes to: Marisol and indirectly the Powells. Worst goes to: No one.
- Snappy oneliner of the week goes to Marisol: Zoila: Marriage is exciting. Marisol: It is. Now if you'll both excuse me, I have to go turn my husband in to the police.
- #TeamJavier! But that doesn't mean I'm giving up on #TeamRemy. Valentina just has to be alive. She better be.
- Are you happy with me? Or should I go packing my bags?
