  1. Many people said yes- but not leaving any reason??? I think it needs to go a bit more, I think a lot needs to be resolved.

  2. just give it conclusive final season ABC. This channel in well known for ending shows without proper ending, all of a sudden when ratings are bad enough to do it...

  3. Perhaps it should but I think it won't, despite bad ratings.

  4. I voted yes. I think that if it went on for another season after S4 that the show would just drag out and get dull. I mean, what possibly else could there even be explored and told in the story? I love the show but as I said, it would drag on and also become boring.

  5. Absolutely no.
I'd like it to have 5 seasons.

  6. I see the show close it out with a shortened season 5 and 100 ep reach.

    YES.

  8. It should go out with a bang this season. After david's resurrection, the storyline shouldn't drag anymore than it needs to IMO!!

  9. it depends as this could be a jumping the shark moment for the show with the David Clark thing, as it was the entire premise for the series. But I have not seen the season so i have no idea yet.

  10. I agree; This is what also I said. After David being revealed in still being alive, what possibly else does the storyline even have left to tell for it to go on for a season 5? I see nothing else of important that should be told. The show would just drag on and get boring if that happened.

  11. I said 'maybe'. I think Revenge should go the route of "Lost" and get a definitive ending at a certain point. If they have something to build towards then the story will get tighter and we won't get the crazy, unnecessary stories they occasionally do. I would rather KNOW it was going to end in 1, 2, or 3 seasons then see it get cancelled before it is really done.

  12. Maybe, either end season 4 with a bang or have a short season 5 so that the show can reach its 100 episodes (only if the quality of the show is still good) . Either way it should not go past a season 5. This is a great show and I want an epic conclusion, something that gets people talking for some time.

  13. Yes! Season 2 should have been the last! But they screwed up the writing and wanted to milk the cow too much. :-( By cow I mean Victoria.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Season 5 should be its last. There really is only so much they can do with the plot. A regular 4th season and a shortened 5th. Sounds good to me.

    ReplyDelete
  15. You got it.
4 seasons wouldn't enough and 6 would be too much so I went with 5.

I went with maybe, mostly because I want Revenge to get to 100 episodes with a final short season of 12 episodes, so it could end on a perfect 100. I know it's a silly thing, it could end on season 4 and be great with just 88 episodes, but for some reason I just want it to be on the bunch of shows that hit 100 episodes

  17. Pablo Troncoso26 June 2014 at 15:57

I agree completely, 5 seasons is what Revenge needs, no more no less

I want to see 100 episodes of Revenge in the end, it just has a good ring to it. I feel this is a show that needs to hit that number. I now it could go on with a bang this season and I'd be really ok with that, but I would love if it could do that and then deliver an awesome conclusion after that!

  19. yes- already the writers have admitted they don't know where the show is going (egis Conrad dead or alive-a few ago they hadn't started writing and they hadn't decided yet) and have no long term plan.
They're already into cliche storylines that are so obvious they beg to be left alone (David Clark alive). With no plan, comes complicated, confusing storylines with no point and character development... think Lost and Alias

  20. I hope they do end it in season 4. The show has jumped the shark with David Clarke being alive and Victoria's bastard son coming and going and Amanda's mom being alive even though she thought she was dead. Then the mother leaves. The writers have turned major characters into a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm one of those people that said yes and here's the reason why. The plot has become too erratic. There were important characters like Amanda's parents who were suppose to be dead, which is what sent her on the insane warpath of revenge against the Graysons. Now it turns out that everyone she loved is alive and well (minus the dog) which makes everything she's done since she got out of prison irrelevant.

  22. I think Revenge must have 100 episodes, no more no less, will be a 5ยบ season and before it starts has to be announced that will be the last season with only 12 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Maybe, I'll reserve further judgement until the new season is here. The show is only heading into its fourth season and there might already be a second reboot.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes, before gets boring.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I have to agree I'm probably one of the biggest fans of this show. But its time to end it this season cause the plot has run its course and all it has been doing is going around in circles. I would love for this show to have a proper ending before abc cancels it due to low ratings. if the quality is really good next season then maybe I would want it to a short.5th season

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well it all depends on the quality of the writing and ratings next season. If the quality is good and ratings are okay then maybe it could have a short 5th season. But overall I don't think it should be on any longer then that

  27. Ems revenge wasnt based soley on her fathers death. He was taken from her unjustly, therefore she has every right to exact her plans!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Me too, as long as they come up with good story lines, if not, let Season 4 be the final one. I say season 5 should consist of 13 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Exactly, I say a short season 5

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yes, I think for the story to end on a high note, season 4 should be the last one but I want the short final fifth season (maybe 12 like Pablo Troncoso says) but I think the decision will be made with the season premiere to see the ratings and the stories it is bringing.

    ReplyDelete
  31. What I really suggest for this show is to treat season 4 like its 2 separate seasons. Like they should write the midseason finale like its a season finale. Then when it gets back from the spring they should write the second half as if its a new season. That's the only way I could see this show keeping the montemum without it seeming drawn out and boring pretty much how most of this season was.

    ReplyDelete
  32. NO! I want more of Revenge, Love this show. But I don't want them to spin the plot lines indefinitely into pointless entertainment. They need some master plot to build towards. Don't know what's left to tell, but hopefully the writers do :-)

    ReplyDelete
  33. I feel like the 3rd should have been already! *spoilers ahead!!!!!* I'm scared when a show brings back the character which death made the show... That's sacred ground to play with in the show. And for the 4th season, that's early if it's just a way to keep the show going!
Gotta have to see it to be sure! But, I don't know what to think yet!

  34. JustKeepSwimming29 June 2014 at 05:54

I think they'd need a full season 5 to reach 100 episodes. If they end this season at 88 they'd need another 22 to reach 100.

    ReplyDelete
  35. The darker the show gets the more interested it becomes. So yes it should continue.

I'm not ready to let it go, so no. A short final season (season 5) would be perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  38. It needs to have 5 seasons, and the 5th being short. And ending on 100 episodes.
With the intro of David, it would be odd to have him for such a short time.

But no longer. It will get dragged out, and there's really only a matter of time before someone goes off their rocker and kills the other side, I mean really. And I'd like to see Victoria and Daniel taken down sooner than later thanks.

  39. I m done with Revenge in season 3. I genuinely like the show but ...When Aiden arrived in Season 2, his character breathed new life into the show...He is just as bad-ass as Emily--in fact, he is more bad-ass than her. He shot the white-haired man before he could kill Emily; he choked that creepy Initiative guy out who murdered his sister. He fought Daniel for Emily...He killed Takeda because he wanted to protect Emily. He did everything in his power to protect her, and never left her no matter how many times she hurt him.I am not watching the show next season, they have ruined it for me!! Jack is such a wimp and a crybaby that I will not be able to stomach watching him get together with Amanda next season.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I said, yes, season 4 should be its final season, although I wouldn't mind conceding for a shortened fifth season.
After the revelation that Emily's father was alive, my red flag got up.

    ReplyDelete
  41. No, Emily has known that her father was dead ever since Nolan gave her the infinity box, when she was 16. At that point in time, he had already passed away.
