DAY 2! (Results from yesterday can be found here.)
The rules are as follows:
1. Two episodes go head to head for 24 hours. The episode that emerges as winner will go through to the next round.
2. Vote for your favourite episode, and tell us what you voted for.
3. Tell others about the competition.
4. Be respectful. This is a competition, but be friendly.
Today sees the first of Game of Thrones' episodes - with 'The Lion and the Rose' going up against our first cancelled show of the tournament, in Nikita's 'Canceled'. We've also got the number 2 seed, The Mentalist's 'My Blue Heaven' - the second of only two episodes to have more than a hundred nominations; first being 'Blue Bird' of the same show.

ReplyDeleteI have a feeling none is going to be my answer a lot this contest. Shocked that Motel California from Teen Wolf did not make it in though. I'll be voting for Twilight's Last Gleaming (The 100), Geothermal Escapism (Community which will be crushed by Hannibal), Bad Blood (Sleepy Hollow which sadly will lose to Arrow), Turn Turn Turn (SHIELD), Anchors (Teen Wolf which again will sadly be crushed by Breaking Bad), and Berlin (The Blacklist) for as long as they can go but then I'll be out.

ReplyDeleteFor the competition as a whole,I think The Rains of Castamere will be hard to beat.It'll be really interesting to see how this goes.
Yeah, I'm really disappointed Motel California isn't even nominated. It was easily one of my favorites. And yes, at least a few of great ones in the poll don't really stand a chance against their competition.

ReplyDeleteWhich shocks me given how popular Teen Wolf is on SpoilerTV. I can only think that people were focused on season 3B and forgot that 3A qualified as well.
ReplyDeleteMotel California was one of the best episodes I saw all year. It's going to be a hard contest for me because the ones I really like either aren't in it or are against heavy competition in the first round. At least The 100 made it through to the second round, so I'll have that one for awhile. Oh well. There's always the Best Show Competition and this contest proves that I need to do a lot of campaigning during the nomination stage of that one.

ReplyDeleteMaybe..To be honest I don't watch The Mentalist so I don't really know how popular it is.But yeah,I'm sure a number of episodes could end up beating it.It's just that GoT in huge right now The Rains of Castamere is probably the most popular/memorable episode.
