Please note: English is not my first language.

First I want to say I'm so sorry for uploading this review so late. I was heading into my finals. It's been crazy, had to finish projects from six months in two months, got my birthday and my sister gave birth to my little niece on my birthday! But in the end it all worked out because I got good grades, a beautiful niece, a good birthday party and I have now summer vacation. So I decided that I'm doing a double review. I'll review the last two episodes as a whole.

Marisol. Lucky for us we immediately knew Nicholas' fate. He ended up in the hospital and was not roadkill. How did someone find him in the darkest of the night? Was it Opal' conscience that made her calling the hospital? Anyway in the meantime, Ethan worries about his car being stolen. Opal confessed that she needed the car for something. Ugh. Clearly she hasn't thought this through. Marisol frantically comes downstairs and says that Nicholas is in the hospital. Ethan puts two and two together and figures out that it was Opal who hit Nicholas. Opal begs Ethan to keep quiet. Can I say that Opal has a weird strut when she runs? It had me laughing.

In the hospital, the doctor says that Nicholas needs surgery and it's possible fatal. So fatal that Nicholas wants to get married first before he undergoes surgery. Marisol doesn't know what to do. Cue the other ladies. They banter about whether to marry Nicholas or not. Marisol decided to get married after all.

Opal gets a call from the police and wants to have an alibi from Ethan. Ethan is willingly to provide this if she exits his life afterwards and never come back. For me this was a little bit sudden. We all know that Ethan was lying for Opal almost his whole life. But what exactly? I know that Dahlia's murder is a lot but it seemed to me that the last 10 years was pretty okay before Marisol entered their lives. I didn't see any weight on Ethan. He was too busy with stealing for the greater good and Valentina. But I'll take this since this is a soap. Anyway, Opal goes to the hospital and says to Marisol that she quits because another job opportunity came available. She asks if Ethan can stay. Marisol agrees and comments that she's sorry that they couldn't be friends. Opal thinks the same too. Hm, didn't think that I could see a moment where they could mutually agree for the time being. Opal then see Marisol and Nicholas getting married in the hospital room. Afterwards Opal flashes back to Dahlia's murder. It's revealed that Ethan saw everything thus qualifying his comments that Ethan was lying for Opal those years. I wonder if Ethan still remembers everything.

Grade: B- (It revealed a little so no higher grade)

Valentina gets in a war between Adrian and Evelyn. Right from the start, Adrian makes thinly veiled comments about Evelyn and Tony's tryst. Though she doesn't call him right on it, she verbally fights back. Nevertheless Adrian goes through with installing camera's everywhere to catch Evelyn in the act. Evelyn gets a bouquet from someone and Valentina is ordered to bring it to the bedroom until Val notices the camera inside the bouquet and wants to have it in the garage. Suspicious, Evelyn orders Val to bring the bouquet back to her and finds the camera. Evelyn inquiries Val about Adrian knowing and Val comments that she wants to stay out of this. Nevertheless, Evelyn still wants Val to bring the bouquet to the bedroom. After a while, Adrian is going to the therapist and takes Val along. Tony tries to get it on until Evelyn writes her warning on a paper. That girl sure knows how to get her messages along. If I was in her position, I wouldn't know what to do. Evelyn and Tony then leaves with the car and park somewhere. What they didn't know was that Adrian was waiting outside in the car with Val. Adrian catches them in the act, but upon seeing it, Adrian can't bring himself to say something. Val goes to fetch Adrian and they leaves. While Adrian was no saint, it was surely heartbreaking to see his face. Powerful acting here. I can see that while he had some trysts with other women, he really loved Evelyn. Evelyn on the other hand, doesn't. At least that's what it looks like. I really thought that this unfolding would be more funny than this. More like slapstick comedy or a few mishaps like Tony hanging naked on the ceiling. Hmm that image. The writes could be more creative than this!!

Grade: C-

Zoila is tired from spending the night with Javier. Genevieve is happy about this and wants to know Javier more since she's like family. Later that night, Gen flirts with Javier and Zoila bothered by this. They banter about Gen's real age. Zoila thinks this is an usual antic from Gen until she finds out from Gen that her kidneys is failing and that she plays it off like it's nothing. Worried, Zoila talks about this with Javier and that she thinks of Gen as a family.

What was touching for me was that this story was innocent at first, quickly turned into something more serious.

Grade: B+

Rosie. Another story spiraling out of control. Rosie is too sweet here. Something about Lucinda not getting her money and uses foul language. Miguel picks this up and uses this at school. And something more about Reggie using the scene with Lucinda and Rosie to move Lucinda out of house. That's it. Well, at least I commented more about this than Carmen's storyline.

Grade: E- (Can't Rosie catch a break?)

Carmen. Household cleaner? Oh, please!

Grade: FFFFF (Still behind this low grade! Can the writers turn this story around?)

Notes:
-Best storyline goes to Zoila. It felt more natural and organic than the other storylines' soap mess. Worst storyline still goes to Carmen for the second time in row!
-Too bad that the Evelyn and Adrian's story didn't went further. I wanted a War of The Roses scene.
-Honorable mention goes to Valentina for staying out of this mess as much as she can do. And that brings me to:
-WHERE IS REMY??? #TeamRemyFTW

As I was late with reviewing the last two episodes, I watched the two episodes in a row.(Yes, I was really busy). So, heading into the next one.

Zoila still worries about Genevieve's kidney and they weighs options about who's the match since Remy isn't a match. Gen doesn't want to call her family because if she does, she feels that the family has some power over her and that means using the pool and that stuff. Nothing can make an airhead comment like Gen. It had me laughing. But since Gen made Remy swear it, Zoila calls the family.

Zoila quickly regrets her decision because Genevieve's mother came to visit. Right from the start, she's been a thorn in their eyes. She reveals Genevieve's backstory. This was quite much but not surprising. I don't blame Genevieve for changing her life and whatnot with such a mother. All this proves too much for Genevieve and she quickly leaves, leaving Zoila alone with the mother.

Grade: B-

Marisol needs a nurse for Nicholas at her home since Opal quit her job. She interviews a few boring women until she meets Molly. They quickly hit it off. Not long thereafter, Molly asks about the story that Marisol is writing. They exchange stories about others. A few while later, Zoila, Carmen and Rosie have dinner and they overhear Molly talking about Marisol and Zoila quickly goes to Marisol to tell her the truth. Marisol is bothered and makes Molly sign the confidentiality agreement. Molly is appalled and says that she's sorry for everything.

Grade: C+

Valentina is not much in this episode, but her story evolves a little, albeit without her in it. Adrian has given up his appearance and doesn't shower/shave much. That's it until Evelyn and Adrian visits Marisol and Nicholas for best wishes. The nurse Molly freezes up a little before going through when she meets Tony. Adrian notices this and quickly goes to her for inquiry. It's then revealed that Tony isn''t Tony but someone else. A con artist? I find it quite disappointing that when we met Tony, he was such a strong man. Now, I find him particularly weak. Adrian cleans up his appearance with renewed faith and a mission. Tony calls someone and we see a new whole attitude. Tony says that he can't wait until he's done with her. Hmm. Why? Just a con artist? Is there a backstory or a motive for revenge?

Grade: C

Rosie. Hmm. The story goes worser than I thought. Didi has broken off her affair with the doctor but the doctor won't give up. Reggie discovers this via Rosie and writes a letter as the doctor. Kenneth reads this and wants to divorce Didi. Didi says she's so sorry and signs everything she has to. Rosie finds the exact same paper the letter was written on and her opinion of Reggie changes. Finally!! What's is she going tot do? Talk some senses into Kenneth? Hmm. I want to see some Spanish fire!

Grade: E (Not much better).

Carmen. Wow, the writers hit it out of the ballpark. The ballpark of worse storylines. Another heist to make Tyler a hero in Carmen's eyes? Blegh. At least this managed to get a laugh out of me: Tyler's fall and Ethan's eyes when he was stabbed.

Grade: FFFFFF (Another F extra! Yay, they achieved another level. The level of downwards)

What did you think of this episode? Share your opinion in the comments!

Notes:
-Best storyline goes to: No one. There were okay stories, no standout. Worse goes to Carmen for the third time in row!
-Snappy oneliner of the week is back and this goes to Evelyn:"I loved what you have done to the house." Marisol:"I did nothing." Evelyn:"Exactly". Marisol rolls her eyes.
- This whole review seems rushed/short. But in reality, I feel there's a decline in the stories overall. In the first two episodes that I reviewed, there was a lot to comment on. Now, I didn't feel like that. Going off on the writers isn't doing anything for me or you guys. Ignorance is the best reaction for me.
-I hope Remy gets to be the hero in this story, saving Valentina from Ethan, just cause #TeamRemyFTW!
-Still sorry for this late update. This shouldn't be a problem anymore in the next few weeks.
