  1. Great news if true. She's a terrific actress. Maybe they will cast Ellen Page or Olivia Thirlby as her partner. Or Charlize Theron

  2. Wow!
Even if Chastain does not take the role, I'm excited to see the quality of actress HBO is looking for as the next Lead of True Detective!

Everyone can dream so I might say Julianne Moore + Jodie Foster.

  8. You know that isn't too crazy, Julianne has worked with HBO before and Jodie recently directed for TV in the form of House of Cards and OITNB, Would be a great combo!

  14. That would be fun depending on how they will go about season 2..If it will remain urban legend-ish or more polished or not, but it sounds like there will still be urban legendy atmosphere, because it's about some conspiracy behind the American transportation system (which could refer to so many things: trains, cars, airplanes, ect).

Well that's a shame. I would love this gorgeous red hair actress in the lead role for True Detective Season 2.

  22. She'll be different, wait until you see her in The Fall!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Oh i saw her in that fabulous show. If i'm not mistaken i believe they already started filming S2 of The Fall.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I wouldn't be surprised is Gillian saying yes.The Fall already started filming and its not 22 episodes, unless they changed and ordered more. Same with Hannibal, its a shortened season, could leave room for her to work on it...
