  1. That was a pretty lame finale IMO

  2. Well, that made me cry! I'm so glad Will was honest with Layla, but oh shit at the cameras. This isn't going to end well for him.

And oh good, poor Juliette. I love that she realized she needs help, and hopefully Avery stays with her. They left it on a cliffhanger so I'm going to live in denial all summer.

Aw at Deacon going to Rayna at the end. Please choose him over Luke!

So happy the show got renewed and it didn't end like that.

  3. I personally think it was a pretty sucky finale. We all knew Will was gonna come out to Layla sooner or later and we should've all known there was cameras watching. And Rayna going for either Team Deacon or Team Luke, it looks like Twilight for old people LOL. At least the show got renewed :)

  4. It would take a considerable amount of effort for Avery to forgive her. He believed in her when no one else did, he was there for her every step of the way, and had complete faith in her. If they stay together, he's going to constantly doubt her. To be with her, he would essentially have to trust her when she has broken that trust in one of the worst ways.

Honestly, I don't know how Javery can get past that. It's not impossible, but the odds are so against them it's almost insurmountable.

  5. damn Deacon when you throw your hat in the ring your really put your hat in the ring. What I love about this show is how much it is about redemption.

I dont really like Luke for Ray he is cool and everything but he just feels like a show piece for me. Then again I hate it when guys do flashy proposals...and I REALLY LIKE Deacon - he is an old cowboy lol (not to mention he gets Rayna's lets have a private life - something Luke needs to figure out)

and thank you will for FINALLY coming out ..though lol did you see Layla's face snap.

and Avery and Juliette I hope that he forgives her cus she needs it and also as Scar said he's done some real humdinger stuff in his past too.

I can't lie... the finale was a bit on the anticlimatic side, though it was nice to see Will finally come out to Layla (even if it was in a predictable manner), Rayna having Juliette's back regarding the Jeff situation, and Gunnar & Scarlett sing one last time.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if Clare Bowen's actually exiting? As much as I like her singing, I can't think off the top of my head of any fresh storyline they could create that would keep Scarlett as one of the main characters.

  7. As much as I hate it, a temporary break-up might be good while Juliette works through her issues. And then they can revisit a reconciliation.

I just love them so much I want them to work past this.

  8. Excellent I don't know why ppl think it sucked it really give all of our fav couples hope. It was quite perfect, not depressing. It will be interesting the direction this show will take next year since Luke and Jeff will be back. I think rayna will sign Maddie because she will need the revenue.

  9. I could see her staying at writing music with Gunnar, she was always meant for Gunnar.

  10. Not impressed with the finale. Gunnar and Scarlet always get the best songs.
I'm curious about Luke. He's got that psycho look in his eye. He's going to try mess things for Rayna and Deacon.

  11. I hope Jeff doesn't try and sign Maddie.

  12. Luke DOES have a stalker psycho look in his eye.

  13. Personally I really enjoyed it.
My main focus for sure was on Juliette/Avery - and JJ and Hayden really did slay it with their acting. As always beautiful, understated, and just fantastic - I'm so torn over these guys. I do think it was the best outcome we could have hoped for for the pair, but I neeeeeed to know if they're together or not for my sanity. I really felt for Avery, and when Juliette spoke about how she couldn't be alone (paraphrasing) ugh that was emotional.
As for the Luke/Rayna/Deacon stuff, I guess I kind of saw that coming, but it'll be interesting to see what direction they go in.

  14. Rayna & Deacon.... I'm so happy I could cry.

  15. Layla did NOT look happy. I hope she can support him but I'm sure she will be devastated and lash out...on camera.

  16. I know, he just feels so slimy to me!

  17. Those two really did it with their acting. I was blown away with their emotions on what can be a very cheesy show. Obviously she broke his trust but it really seems like it was the lesson she needed to realize how she treats herself. I hope she can work on herself for the first part of the season and they can get back together after they are both stable on their own.

  18. I feel like after everything she said to him at the end, it would be so going against his character for him to abandon her. I think we've got good foundations from which these two can be built up again.

  19. Yea, something is really off about Luke. Something was really creepy about that time he was telling Rayna how he's pining after her for all those years. Deacon's proposal was more down to earth, gorgeous, and amazing. I totally cried.

  20. Agree, something has been rubbing me the wrong way since Luke first appear.

  21. According to the creator, Claire Bowen is sticking around.

  22. Loved it, it was heartbreaking. Specially Juliette, her story's just so awful, and I hope Avery can understand her, and be there for her.
I would be happier about Rayna and Deacon if I didn't love Luke so much, maybe they could have waited for the relationship's fall out or something like that. It's like if Rayna says yes I'm not ok and if she says no I'm not ok either LOL.

  23. Totally agree, hope she does that because I love her singing, specially her duets with Gunnar.

  24. I hope they will be together again. I dont like his girlfriend at all
