  1. Kaley as SUPPORTING actress. GMAB. She is one of the three leads in the show. MB/MR are supporting on TBBT. Also, how is AHS a "mini-series," but TD not? It's the same anthology concept.

  2. Oh I love these though really OITNB and Shameless are not comedies! Great to see Fargo and the Normal Heart get some much deserved love.

Comedy Series: I want Veep or OITNB (even though its not comedy!). Think OITNB or Louie will win
Comedy Actor: Adam Scott is my choice, he won't win Louie probably will.
Comedy Actress: Always Amy Poehler for me. Hmm Shameless really isn't a comedy but Emmy has a chance of winning as the critics do love her.
Comedy Supporting Actor: Oh please Andre Braugher! Damn this list is great actually Albert Tsai, Keith David, Tony Hale so many good choices. Not sure who will get it.
Comedy Supporting Actress: Laverne Cox please and I think she has a chance of winning.
Guest Comedy Performer: Sarah Baker was so good in Louie, she could win as well.

Best Drama Series: Holy hell how hard is this? I would pick Breaking Bad or True Detective. Way too hard to predict the winner.
Drama Actor: Surely Cranston or McConaughey right? Either would get my vote, hell Dancy and Rhys would as well.
Drama Actress: Another tough one, would love Tatiana or Keri, think Julianna might clinch it.
Drama Supporting Actor: This list is too good. Walton really deserves some love. But Aaron Paul was amazing in the last season.
Drama Supporting Actress: Would love Annet to get some love but think it will be the wonderful Anna Gunn.
Guest Performer Drama: Woah Walton is by far the rare glimmer of awesome in SOA when he appears as Venus, if he doesn't get love for the other category then please give him credit here. Someone like Diana Rigg might clinch it though.

Best Movie: I loved Adventure but The Normal Heart was beautiful.
    Mini-series: Fargo please.
Actor Movie/Mini: THIS IS SO TOUGH pitting Ruffalo against Billy Bob, damn.
Actress Movie/Mini: Actually don't care for anyone in this.
Supporting Actor Movie/Mini: Oh Matt Bomer should own this, so damn good.
Supporting Actress Movie/Mini: ALLISON, Oh so happy she got some love. Julian Roberts has a good chance of getting this.

Animated series: Don't watch any of them. Can see Bob's Burgers winning thouh

  4. FX decided when AHS first aired to submit it as a mini-series for awards - it tends to have a better chance of getting nominated that way - though the category has gotten really busy this year.

HBO meanwhile have enough faith in True Detective to stand against the big boys in the main drama category - whilst also meaning that can focus on promoting The Normal Heart in the mini-series/movie categories. Its all very complex but makes sense to the networks.

  5. Some categories are so tough. Lord have mercy.
Best Guest in a Drama will be between Joe and Diana. They were both awesome. I can't even choose.
Uzo better win best guets in a Comedie for OITNB.
Best Actress in A Drama. So tough. I love all these women but Tatiana is the best.
Now the snubs. I'm shocked for Orphan Black, Angela Bassett, James Spader and excuse me; Peter Dinklage!?

  6. Let me get this straight, OITNB is a comedy, AHS is a mini series, Sherlock is a movie and True Detective is a series? How the heck do they determine these categories? Oh well at least Walton Goggins got nominated for Justified.

  8. I still don't understand why some of the best shows on television are always snubbed even if they are in networks that usually get brushed off when it comes to the major awards, but still….I guess I digress.

    Happy for Hugh Dancy though!

    What a great list!

So glad to see a nomination for Peter Sarsgaard. He was great all season long, but man, his work in the episode Six Minutes (3x10) was some of the best acting I've ever seen.
Very glad to see The Good Wife, Breaking Bad, and OITB representing as well. Should be very interesting. I sure would not know what to do if I was voting!

  12. Oh i'm glad for "The Americans" nominations, this season was amazing.

I dislike how they mix 2013 & current 2014 in their nominations. Some of these haven't even finished airing for this season, while others were so long ago.
