I love BATB and The Originals ;) ;)

    ReplyDelete
  4. What's up with the "Other - Leave Comment" option, what other CW shows are there?

    ReplyDelete
  5. If BATB is so awsome I wonder why nobody watch it!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hah, and five options is a bit many.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Whose Line Is It Anyway! The only CW show I watch.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Nobody? That's a strong word. FYI, there are people living outside the USA! And in other countries they watch BatB too and are liking it. I'm from the Netherlands so please don't forget the international viewers, we are here too!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Since The Secret Circle technically still reruns sometimes on Chiller, that's my choice. :) Of the non-canceled shows, The 100, The Originals, and WLIIA, I like Arrow but am so behind I don't feel like counting it and I doubt I'll catch up before season 3.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Tie between The Tomorrow People, Arrow, and Supernatural.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Arrow, The 100, The Tomorrow People and Reign!!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. BATB & SPN & TVD

    ReplyDelete
  13. Arrow by far.

    ReplyDelete
  14. BATB all the way, amazing show with brilliant actors.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Travis Crincoli14 April 2014 at 11:43

arrow definitely. i just dont get why the official ratings are going down though.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If no one watched it then why has India, UK and other countries signed on for a S3? Get your facts right before posting rubbish. If u don't like the show fine, but keep this crap out.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm Italian and I live in Italy..So I'm perfectly aware of International viewers! ;) It's a shame that we don't count as viewers, otherwise the ratings would be much, much bigger not only for BATB but also for Arrow,TVD,SPN,TO (which I think by the way, they are the best products TheCw currently has! )

    ReplyDelete
  18. Arrow and TTP, but TBH, the second half of Arrow's sophomore season has been underwhelming and TTP isn't *that* great. It's just that I don't like any of the others.

    ReplyDelete
  19. lol yup you are right Samy.I am one of them #BatB

    ReplyDelete
  20. Let me guess what's gonna win.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I knew I would be right :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. If you are having a problem with season 6 I feel sorry for you having to make it thru 8. I play like that one never happened. ;) Season 9 is so much better, but I miss the brother love and am going to start with the pilot for a rewatch in this off season.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Arrow and The 100. The Tomorrow People also.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The only one I watch the night it is on is Supernatural, but going to the hopper and watched the next day are Originals, TTP, Arrow, HoD.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Are you sure that the UK has agreed to air a S3 already? When the channel it airs on released ratings, BaTB didn't have enough viewers to even register.

    ReplyDelete
  26. For me it's Arrow, Supernatural, The Originals, The 100 (sort of) and oddly enough Star Crossed. I only watched it to laugh at it, but damnit I'm into it now.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Оля Белякова14 April 2014 at 12:28

    Beauty And The Beast ))))

    ReplyDelete
  28. Arrow by a long way.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Same here. I think this season is much better than last season.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Definitely Arrow. Reign is amazing, too.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Patrizia Trevisan14 April 2014 at 12:36

    #batb the best!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. BATB, Supernatural, Arrow & TO

    ReplyDelete
  33. The Originals, Arrow, Reign, The Vampire Diaries

    ReplyDelete
  34. Reign, the 100, the originals, arrow, supernatural - most if the time. I stopped watching tvd after season 3, last season and this one I can't stand to see clips of. They took a strong, very annoying character like Elena who had morals and stick her the Damon, who some look past his being a monster because he's hot. But I can't he's a monster.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Who said that I'm posting rubbish? You?Who are you? I'm sorry If you got offended by my comment but please, you know It's true! The ratings are poor and TheCw needs strong USA numbers to renew a show, unfortunaly not Uk,not India etc..
Accept and respect my opinion even If you don't agree with me and without being rude, thanks! :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Beauty and the Beast forever BATB

    ReplyDelete
  37. how can they sign up for s3 when the CW will probably cancel it? Does not seem like credible info.

What are the ratings in the UK? Do you have a link to the information?
What are the ratings in the India? Do you have a link to the information?

Do you have a link to the information about India, UK and other countries signed up for S3?

    ReplyDelete
  38. what is your guess?

    ReplyDelete
  39. if international viewers mattered, EVERY shows viewership would be higher.
BATB would still be a low rated show. Just a low rated show with more viewers... since all the other shows would also have large increases, and in MOST cases, larger increases than BatB

    ReplyDelete
  40. no one is "signing up" for S3 of a show that will be canceled.
This poster literally made up these claims out of thin air....unless hes heard about a station in India or the UK that's bought the rights & is going to start producing it themselves lol.

    ReplyDelete
  41. those were my 3 choices as well. Although I barely can count TTP, but I still watch it....just really behind on it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Average viewership from the first seven episodes (the UK ratings don't get released until like 2 weeks after that week) to have aired is 203,857 viewers.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Network TV as a whole went down substantially this year.
Also they had no strong pairing like last year with SPN.
As much as I like TTP, it is a vast drop in viewership to SPN.
That, combined with the fact that statistically shows generally do go down in viewership as the show goes on, its not surprising at all.

    ReplyDelete
  44. How exactly can countries sign up for a third season when the CW aren't going to renew it? And when you consider that the UK only started airing season 2 in mid-February, and a lot of the time it takes channels until after the current season has finished to say "we're going to be showing the next season next year", no, the UK has not signed on for season three.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Season 9 is not much better its worst god the season's I want to forget is 7, 8, and now 9. Season 6 still had Eric K so come on with that when he left to do that other show on NBC SPN went down hill fast but is still alive a kicking.

    ReplyDelete
  46. for me it still is SPN but who's line is it anyway is great.

    ReplyDelete
  47. EuphemiaWonderland14 April 2014 at 13:52

    The 100 and Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I have to agree Arrow is great.

    ReplyDelete
  49. To me it gets better and better every episode. I'm just afraid they'll end it on a huge cliffhanger and then cancel it.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Supernatural all the way

    ReplyDelete
  51. Without a doubt, Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  52. BATB. I'm not psychotically obsessed... but I do love the show.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Supernatural. Always Supernatural.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I understand that. But not all the shows are sold to as many or the same countries. I think the number of international viewers doesn't matter for the CW but the number of countries shows are sold to does. That has to bring in money too besides the advertising revenues in the US (which is more important, I know that). I just wanna say there are more things to consider than only US ratings, def with the outdated Nielsen system they're still using. Just my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Arrow , of course.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Supernatural for sure!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. #1: The Originals -
properly exceeding expectations, always a twist ready and the networks best actors on one batch. The tone is eerie enough to fullfill the 'it's a vampire show, alright' trope. Only Klaus speeches are something the writers should think about getting rid of

    #2: Supernatural -
having risen from it's season 6/7 ashes the show is back to old strenghts, wich is good. Sadly the mytharc gets undermined a lot by too many filler episodes

    #3: Arrow -
the show hit its quality swamp, after a fantastic first season the second one feels like a mess of storylines, favourised writing and some cringeworthy acting. It's still a great show but not as fantastic as it could be.

    #4: The 100 -
While staying behind my expectations the show has a solid sense for mystery and questionable characters.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Arrow, reign & BATB

    ReplyDelete
  59. Arrow no doubts, then the 100, The Originals, Reign.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I must say laat weeks (poorly watched) Reign episode was one of the best things I saw this season on CW.
It can't compete with Arrow's first episodes till midseason but it's great. So arrow and Reign for me.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I know I'm going to get some abuse for this one buuuut...I disagree!

The first half of S2 was stronger than the first half of S1, for sure. But the second half of S2 hasn't been nearly as good as the second half of S1.

There's no focus. Everything is so spread out and the only thing I look forward to is more Slade. Unfortunately the screen time seems to be constantly being taken up by the least interesting characters on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Brandy Danforth14 April 2014 at 15:44

    Well,Reign,HoD,Carrie.Then BatB,Star-Crossed.Then VD,TO

    ReplyDelete
  63. Kripke mostly seemed to be there in name only. The season certainly had no story plans (they dumped them all midseason) and the one episode he did write (the finale) was a mess, with a cliffhanger that mostly became a punchline in fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Season 6 is rotgut. If you just watch The Man Who Would Be King and move on to season 7 you wouldn't miss that much.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Supernatural, The 100 and Arrow. That's it, in that order.

    ReplyDelete
  66. The 100 and TVD. Even though TVD is going down hill its still more entertaining than Reign and the carrie diaries

    ReplyDelete
  67. Of the shows that Ive watched, this is how I'd rank them (from best to worst)
    1. Arrow
    2. The Tomorrow People
    3. Hart of Dixie
    4. Reign
    5. Vampire diaries (tie)
    6. The 100
    7. Star-crossed
    8. The Originals

    ReplyDelete
  68. Excuse me but no I'm not getting this out of thin air thanks, it's common knowledge that here in the UK Watch channel who air the show have had a 3 year contract since season 1, that's of course whether the CW choose to renew it or not it will be aired here for that 3rd season. In India they have also asked for the rights to show a 3rd if again the CW choose to give us another season which I truly hope so. If you don't like the show fine but don't have ago at others because they do.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Yes, as I said above they have had the rights since season 1.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Arrow, The Tomorrow People, Beauty and the Beast!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Cátia Barradas14 April 2014 at 16:09

Love #BATB and folow Arrow and Hart of Dixie
Been a fan of TVD, know i´m just watching some times.
Arrow is a great series, but Beauty and the Beast make dream every time :) i´ve seen the first season and the half of the second season over and over again.
Hart of Dixie make me smile, love Rachel :)
On TVD, i´m a stelena fan, so it´s a bit strange watch the series now, but i think is good to, but not so good has in the beginning.
I´m enjoyins Star-Crossed to, it can get me, if the cancel #BATB probably it will be Star-Crossed my new obssecion :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Arrow
    Supernatural
    Reign
    The Originals
    The 100
    Star-Crossed
are best drama in my opinion
    Honorable
    The Tommorw People
    Hart Of Dixie

    ReplyDelete
  73. My all time favorite is Beauty and the Beast. I also love Star-Crossed and Supernatural and I watch Reign and The Tomorrow People.
I did try to watch Arrow, had high hopes, but sadly it was just to bad with it's so very bad double standards. He's the only one who can take the laws into his own hands, while everybody else, doing the same thing, can't! What the heck??! And all the reason he needs is "because my daddy said so"??! Beyond stupid!
The 100 looked exciting, but it's getting to be to much. 100 kids, with no rules, are a little over the top and a tat annoying.
The Vampires Diaries is about the worst supernatural show I have ever seen and the vampires is just ridiculously badly done to the point of being almost funny.
The others don't interest me so I don't watch them at all.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Since I only watch Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I'm good with the top three winners so far. My favorite of course is SUPERNATURAL all the way but I also like BATB and Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Currently for me..its Arrow.
The Originals, if not the best, is pretty good for a show in its first season.
I really enjoy The Carrie Diaries too, its a sweet show, quite enjoyable. That being said, I know its going to get cancelled, and its not something I'd miss so its ok.
How I would have loved to say TVD, whose first three seasons were so damn good. The storyline has been dwindling since then sadly.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Obviously SPN has a big fanbase, but qualitywise, I'm sorry, SPN isn't in the Top 3.
Arrow, Reign, The 100, The Originals, Star-Crossed, TTP are better, at least I enjoy them more, and that says a SPN Fan, who has seen all seasons at least twice, but now, it's just not the same anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Cátia Barradas14 April 2014 at 16:31

I´m with you in TVD, first 3 great, but now ... í don´t know, to much people i belive.

    ReplyDelete
  79. #2 Way WAY too many filler episodes haha.

    ReplyDelete
  80. My first choice is The Vampire Diaries, closely followed by Reign, but I'm starting to lose interest in that. I don't care enough about Arrow to keep up with the episodes. I keep meaning to watch Supernatural, but I haven't had the time so far.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Imo, you should skip to 8. While there are a few stand alone episodes in ssn that are definitely worth watching, the plot holes are bug enough to drive the impala thru.
Seasons 8 and 9 are thankfully back to original standards and DEFINATELY worth watching:-)

    ReplyDelete
  82. My ranking of the shows I am watching, or have been watching:
    1. Arrow (voted) - Exciting every episode more or less. Great pacing, action and overall great cast and story. What is there not to like really?

    2. Supernatural(voted) - Always entertaining! I will stand by these brothers until the end.

    3. The Originals(voted) - Feels fresh, and I love the characters. Klaus sure is an interesting and a quite unusual lead character, and the settings and music are a treat for eyes and ears.

    4. Vampire Diaries(voted) - Have been lacking something lately, but it's still a keeper. l like that they are bold on the show, but some things feels dragged out at this point. I just really hope that they have a great plan for this and the next season, and that the show will end in season 6 as they first planned.

    5. The Beauty and the beast (recently dropped) - Couldn't stand it anymore, And I really don't know why I stood by it for so long (probably because of Gabe, I have to blame the heroes fangirl in me). But now I have too many shows to watch, so there is really no point in keeping shows that I don't enjoy. It's sad, because the show do have potential, but all the interesting characters have been ruined or killed and I have zero interest in the main characters and their love story, so yeah.

    6. Star-crossed (Dropped)

    7. The Tomorrow people (Dropped)

    ReplyDelete
  83. Reign! I still love TVD (and Originals) because I am loyal at this point but Reign is exciting for me right now. I also really enjoy Star Crossed and TTP although I am afraid I may not get another season of either. I watch HoD for laughs and try to catch Arrow sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  84. That might be why I couldn't find BaTB's UK ratings then haha. I could have looked at the wrong week.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I did enjoy the Carrie Diaries but I feel like they knew they were not coming back and gave us a pretty good ending. I won't be upset to not see it back for another season.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Arrow (of course), TO, TVD, SPN, and TTP. (I also like SC but it's still very new)

    ReplyDelete
  87. That's a shame about TTP, it's gotten really good and we're trying to save it.

    ReplyDelete
  88. SPN for the first time???

    ReplyDelete
  89. Source? Because I cannot find any info on these contracts you speak of. Now I am curious.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People

    ReplyDelete
  91. Supernatural of course!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Elizabeth Orozco14 April 2014 at 17:29

Supernatural very much It is the best and only one that makes me happy and amazed when I see it

    ReplyDelete
  93. Supernatural and Arrow, easily. Some days it's harder to choose which is better than which, so I'm just going to say those two and not pick one over the other.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Here we go again , those of you that do not watch or like BATB please stop with the BS. Those of us that do watch please ignore people who are just trying to draw BATB fan out. I just don't get or understand all the BATB haters...enough already. I hate this from both sides and why I dislike coming in here to spoiler TV as so much BS from everyone. Please stop.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Stop everyone with the BS...enough. Grow up the lot of you's and who gives a s...t at the end of the day except the big executives making all the money. Actors are out of job but they get another, so enough of the childish S...t here. I am sick of it and can't believe this goes on with grown men and women on both sides.... Enough already pleaseeeeee

    ReplyDelete
  96. Nikita was the best show of CW! Then it's Hart of Dixie et The Carrie Diaries.

    ReplyDelete
  97. No, you stop. He was asking a simple question.

People are allowed to ask questions.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I'm surprised Beauty and the Beast is obit third. I would've figured their crazy fanbase would've promoted this poll on Twitter or something and completely ransacked this question like usual. I guess maybe they're giving up.

I only watch Supernatural on the CW so I could only vote for that.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Easily Arrow. No other show comes close currently.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Haven´t found any show better than Beauty and the Beast. Don´t think I ever will.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Оля Белякова14 April 2014 at 18:19

    BATB

    ReplyDelete
  102. Beauty and the Beast and Arrow. I used to like TVD but it got awful this season. Never really watched SPN, and the rest I don't care.

    ReplyDelete
  103. SPN + Arrow + The 100 is really good too. The Originals is (way) better than TVD & TTP is pretty good too.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Try the Originals, it actually holds oldTVDs best qualities. Even if you hate Klaus or Elijah it's fun

    ReplyDelete
  105. I would go with Arrow, but I stay with The 100 because is more compelling and the character actually die for real there.

    The 100
    Supernatural
    Arrow
    The Originals

    ReplyDelete
  106. Arrow takes this one easily.

    ReplyDelete
  107. This comment was just bait LOL. Agreed tho.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Whose Line is it Anyway!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Superatural, Arrow and The 100.

    ReplyDelete
  110. To be fair I get what you mean. I think they've brought too many characters into the spotlight whereas it used to be more focused on the trio with cool storylines for the rest of the cast. Now it's kinda like everyone from the comics has been thrown into the show.

Still love it though, just hope it chills out during S3.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Arrow all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  112. Michele Klinger14 April 2014 at 19:22

SUPERNATURAL ALL THE WAY! The Originals and TVD are awesome too, but nothing beats the Winchesters

    ReplyDelete
  113. how many times have we had this same poll 4, 5 times

    ReplyDelete
  114. Hetal Mikaelson14 April 2014 at 19:32

Duh!! Arrow and Originals. Closely followed by Tomorrow people Reign and 100

    ReplyDelete
  115. Aryam Manzueta Avila14 April 2014 at 19:39

Arrow and The Tomorrow People. Anyways, where are the beasties?

    ReplyDelete
  116. BATB, Arrow, Supernatural, the tomorrow people Vampire diaries, Originals and Reign,

    ReplyDelete
  117. The BARB website has the ratings on there.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Supernatural combines strong story lines with a charismatic and exceptionally talented cast (and yes, they are a sight for sore eyes, too), lots of humor and pop culture references, and the parallel questioning AND upholding of values everyone can relate to. For me the perfect mixture, talks to the heart as well as to the brain...and lets you brush up your Latin, check your stock on salt and holy water, and carry iron things with you all the time. Not to forget makes you worship a certain vintage car. Danger of taking your life over gradually though ;)

    ReplyDelete
  119. I voted for Supernatural because I always do, but honestly Arrow has stronger storylines and more cohesive writing. Supernatural's writing and pacing are often all over the place... especially this season.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I watched one episode once because it happened to be on. It looked like a good show. I'll have to see if I can watch a few episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Best show -> Supernatural

    ReplyDelete
  122. Arrow, SPN, and TTP... TVD and TO would be next except that they are too uneven lately

    ReplyDelete
  123. batb #batb #batb

    ReplyDelete
  124. Supernatural was the best show on CW for the past 5 years (TVD was close by, but honestly the show focused too much on relationship drama that put me off), but it has been superseded by Arrow this year. Arrow is not only the best show on CW, but also one of the best shows on all of TV!

    ReplyDelete
  125. Wow. Then you definitely need to start from season 1. (If you're gonna check it out) It's a great show.

    ReplyDelete
  126. For me Star-Crossed and The 100 are both complex, intriguing stories with great character interactions. They have held my interest far better than I would have ever suspected and I find myself engrossed in their episodes. They are the only CW shows that I make sure to watch every week these days.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Star-Crossed is far better than the advertising lead me to believe it would be. The sociopolitical factors wow me every time.

    ReplyDelete
  128. OF COURSE... This STUPID Vampire Diaries is better than Star crossed... OMG! You closed The secret circle, but honestly, I am already sick because of Daemon and vampires... Just close it.

    ReplyDelete
  129. But I am really glad for Supernatural))

    ReplyDelete
  130. all CW shows are whacked not one of them can even average 3mil compared to another network. Why because every show on the CW is the same, Love Triangles, Grown men fighting demons, or playing dress up. Brothers fighting over the same women, No Originality plus most fans of the CW are teenagers only watching what guy is the hottest

    ReplyDelete
  131. all you see is fandoms complaining and fighting over which show is better grow up and get a life

    ReplyDelete
  132. too tell you all the truth I only watch BATB for Kristin Kreuk, just really wished she leaves this show. the Writers can't say great things about them

    ReplyDelete
  133. I think Arrow has to be first no doubt, supernatural its always a good show but we are far from s01-05, BATB its not a good show IMHO, Thr vmapire diaries its a good show... but the best right now its Arrow for sure

    ReplyDelete
  134. The Vampire Diaries and The Originals were the "Best" until recent events ie: the death of Katherine and her daughter Nadia on TVD followed by the departure of Claire Holt from The Originals! With these changes it's up in the air now and The 100 hasn't been on long enough to judge yet. 4 EVER, Nobody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  135. It mostly counts USA RATINGS I dont think even us CANADIANS get INCLUDED eventhough some shows are filmed here

    ReplyDelete
  136. http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140305030046/vampirediaries/images/3/3d/Elijahvamp.gif

"and the vampires is just ridiculously badly done to the point of being almost funny"

    this guy disagrees

    ReplyDelete
  137. Honestly, at this point even Slade starts to tire me.
Currently they are busy stuffing square begs into round holes in order to get the characters where they want them, instead of providing a proper build-up for their decisions. It's very annoying...and disappointing, because we all know that they show can do better. But it's "CWness" is currently bogging it down.

    ReplyDelete
  138. I would say that the problem is more the opposite...they have so many interesting characters, but they never get any spotlight anymore, because they are too busy to portray round 39 of Oliver's love life. I really like Sara, but why gets she a whole episode about becoming part of the team, while Roy gets none? Why do we spend ages on storylines for Laurel which go nowhere instead of allowing Thea, Felicity and Sin a little bit more (oliver-free) screen-time?

    ARROW!!!!

  140. I actually just started watching it after the Beasties took on the Hunters with the Alpha Male Madness poll. I didn't even know BATB was a CW show or I would have given it a try sooner. So far I like it!

  141. Heres the reality. If a U.S. network show is watched by 6 billion people around the world, but none in the U.S. it wont get made anymore.
The U.S. producers of the show DO NOT care how many people outside the U.S. watch it.
While selling it out of country does make some $ for the producers it makes little to none for the network & it is nowhere near the cost of producing it.
The U.S. ads are still the vast majority of revenue a show gets. DVD sales & International sales are a fraction, a small fraction.
A show wont make any profit off any non-live airing ad revenue till it hits syndication....which takes 4 or more years on average. Because of that, shows that do poor in the U.S. WILL NOT make it to season 4, regardless how many international viewers it gets. Ever.

While I agree with how outdated Nielsen is. The reason you are implying it is, is incorrect. Nielsen ratings are for U.S. ONLY viewers, which is ALL the networks & producers of it care about. As it should be. The U.S. networks aren't making TV programs for other countries, they are making it for Americans. Just like how the BBC doesn't care about American viewers, its programming is for the U.K.
TL:DR? A U.S station show with 5 Million American viewers trumps 6 billion non-American viewers because of ad revenues every time.

  152. I was instantly put off by the name, and then the awful promos and the fact that a guy in his 30's is playing a 15 year old. I watched it to see how badly it was but you're right, the sociopolitical aspects are incredible. I think if they had used the same cast (I do find Lanter to be the strongest of the cast), but had set it at a college or something it would seem less silly. I know it will be ending soon so I'm just enjoying the ride while it's still on.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Oh no, I totally understand that. I just mean that they're throwing in all these random faces who aren't part of the recurring cast instead of focusing on the main, important characters.

    ReplyDelete
  154. The marketing for this show was downright terrible. They needed to can the Romeo and Juliet angle and ramp up everything else in it. I agree that setting it in a college makes more sense.

  155. Sorry if you do not watch, but I live in Brazil and I know people here and no other country, including U.S. who watches and enjoys. Incidentally, like BATB is an option I love and 1 million and a half people in the world too.

C W has a lot of good shows but Supernatural is my all time favorite show, for me it has everything you want in a show .... I never miss a Ep & I NEVER DVR it !!!

  158. I know. But my reply was about 'nobody watching', not about the ratings. Canadian ratings aren't counted but I think it doesn't help the US ratings it's aired a day before the US in Canada. I just hope they also take other things into account and not only the ratings when they make their decisions.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Thanks for your reply. But I'm still questioning the Nielsen system, especially because everything like the important advertising money is based on that outdated system. They really need to change things, it's 2014!

  160. BATB, no question. LOVE VinCat. Best acting, chemistry between leads is off the charts, just needs a new show runner...

    BATB :D

    ReplyDelete
  166. in that circumstance, a higher rated US CW show, would draw in more international channels so they would cancel a low rated show anyway and opt to market a higher rated show for more buy rates and revenue. its very simple.
The problem with most beasties is that they argue that BATB international viewers are so high it should be picked up for another season, and thats all they go on about yet I bet if you compare it to Arrow, Supernatural, TVD and The Originals and their international viewers it would be a very small portion to theirs.

  169. Totally! I only started watching Chicago PD (and then Chicago Fire) because of Sophia Bush.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Beauty and the Beast. The best show ever. Great actors, great director. And Jay Ryan.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I understand that longer running shows like SPN and TVD are sold to more international channels. I don't know about TO because it's only in it's first season. But it seems like some international markets like BatB more than the US. And I think most Beasties compare BatB with other lower rated shows of which a few are only in their first season and probably didn't build a large following yet and aren't sold to many international channels yet. You can't blame us for hoping and looking for positive things. That's all.

    ReplyDelete
  172. I don't think it is a US thing, you are just not looking at the US/International proportions other than just BATB. international is always going to seem higher as there is more countries/viewers/fans but other shows will also see that increase on top of their US numbers as well, meaning BATB International viewers is still a lot less than the other shows.

  173. Kerinda, I agree w/you. S6 was the last good season. The show has been on a steady decline, IMO, since S7. 8 was not great, and 9 is not divine.

    ReplyDelete
  174. If you can't make it through 6 (which was excellent compared to 7, 8, and 9), then I think you should just stop now. S6 is great. Seasons 7-9 have been horrendous! The show is on a steady decline. Tonight's episode, for instance, was a boring piece of crap. Actually, you might appreciate 6 more if you see 7, 8, and 9.

  180. Dart UFO of course he can ask a question. My share was to ask everyone to stop this ridiculous bickering. You are the site admin here and your behavior here is very questionable. Why do you allow this to go on?
Very few want to come here any more and I don't blame them. What I see is your little gang of soldiers prod and poke the fans from different shows and wonder how you and your little pets get away with it. Who is your boss, who is in charge there? Is this your site?
