A CELEBRATION OF LIFE — Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) confronts a surprising enemy as she and her unborn baby fall into peril during a celebratory wake to honor a fallen member of the community. In order to save Hayley, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) enlist the help of Genevieve (guest star Elyse Levesque) who struggles to maintain control over Davina (Danielle Campbell) and the other young witches. Cami (Leah Pipes) tells Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) that Francesca (guest star Peta Sargent) is determined to find a mysterious key that may unlock a family secret. Meanwhile, as Klaus suffers from nightmares of his father Mikael (guest star Sebastian Roche), he is forced to examine his troubled relationship with his own adoptive son, Marcel. Sylvain White directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie & Julie Plec (#120).

ReplyDeleteKieran AND Thierry biting the dust in the same episode is borderline frustrating. They were my favourite cast additions. I couldn't care less for Genevieve, Diego, Marcel or any of the others. But clearly I'm one of the unluckiest television fans ever :o
Excited for Sebastian Roché returning as Mikael, wether it's a halucination or real he's always great. In fact: he's damn scary, the way he walked down that street with his mout smeared with blood and screaming for his children to come out of hiding was one of the most vampire-y scenes this show ever delivered !
Ok interesting photos but how is Mikael here at all.

ReplyDeleteConsidering Mikael is there I think that must be Klaus' dream/nightmare. I'm guessing it's probably the funeral for Father Kieran which leads Klaus to dream about the funeral he's going to hold for the baby.
ReplyDeleteI think Kieran was one of the more interesting characters on the show and I'm disappointed they decided to kill him off over Cami or Marcel.
Damn it. I liked Kieran.

ReplyDeleteTHE ORIGINALS BABY IS NOT DYING!!!! SO NO FUNERAL FOR THE BABY!!!! SADLY SOUNDS MORE LIKE FATHER KIERAN FUNERAL!!!! TO BAD THOUGH FATHER KIERAN IS AN EXCELLANT CHARACTER.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that the baby does die still. I just can't picture this show with a baby on it. They really need to get their act together for Season 2 and they need to start by getting rid of the baby storyline. I have no interest in watching them have to "save" the baby every week.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big spoiler, I guess Kieran dies. Klaus will probably try to make peace Marcel and once again get the great flipflopper that is Marcel to back down again. I'll try to cover my shock.

ReplyDeleteNoooooo! Klaus please don't re-examine your relationship with Marcel AGAIN. We've been through this, and it always ends with him trying to kill you AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteKieran is definitely dead, well i couldn't imagine him as a vampire anyway. But i do question Julie's ability to introduce another secondary character who will end up as fan's favorite. She'll probably kill off Josh soon enough too.
Did Klaus got part of the curse onto him from kieran? Is it contagious? Why is he hallucinating?
