  1. RIP Thierry, why couldn't he kill Marcel, Genevieve and Hayley ?

  2. I agree, Elijahs wrath was coming. But Thierry should not have been the one to suffer under it.

Don't get hopeful about Haylijah Shannon, the 'good guys' never get the girl on this kind of show.

I'm predicting Hayley and Klaus ending up. Not because of the writers but the fans that will inevitably push for it.

  3. I always have hope for my ships honey. I'll wait it out as long as the series goes on for. idc if Haylijah doesn't become "end game" i've never cared for who ends up end game, just as long as they have a chance through the show's run i'm good. I once waited 7 years for two of my ships to get together. So i have a lot of patience. But it's only season 1, so i'm not worried about them getting together or not right now. I just enjoy their scenes together. I'm not looking for a kiss right now. (even though their near kisses kill me, lol)

As for Thierry. sigh. i really hope Marcel bites it soon. If Father K lives next episode, i'm hoping he'll out live Marcel for the remainder of the season.

  4. Another awesome ep. This show just keeps getting better.

Gen better not go after the baby.

So is Klaus jealous of Cami and Marcel?

I like Hayley with either Elijah or Jackson.

And I'm kind of hoping Davina gets stronger somehow.

  5. Oh my God, how I missed this show! I'm SO glad its back! :D

  6. Thierry being the one to suffer Elijah's wrath was a very intentional decision, and I think it's absolutely about moving Elijah in a direction where he's as crazed, power-hungry and violent as Klaus has been.

Apart from the controlling streak, I'm warming to Klaus' angle here. He's not actually scheming to get people killed or take over, he's doing what he thinks is better for his progeny by pursuing power for the "less destructive" side of his family. The whole Genevieve thing is two villains manipulating each other for different causes, and in this case, Klaus' cause is to help a girl he likes. On the whole, positive by Klaus' standards and maybe even the shows standard.

One thing I really didn't like (and don't like every time I see it) is Elijah pushing Klaus around. The mythology around them suggests that Elijah should be no stronger than Rebekkah, and considerably less strong than Klaus. Yet Elijah and Mikael have both been positioned as physically dominant in little skirmishes with Klaus. The TVD/Originals keepers really need to get their house in order when it comes to these types of details.

  7. I don't understand why Elijah didn't kill Marcel as well. That would have sent more of a message than killing just Thierry.

Klaus/Genevieve ended fast. I'm disappointed they never got a sex scene yet Marcel/Cami did.

  8. poor baby, not even born yet and already has a hit out on her, klaus jealous and hurt by what cami did and also apologized to her i completely thought he was going to kiss her, i ship hayley and elijah but it's messed up that the writers had hayley let the werewolf feel the baby kick it should've been klaus if they were going to show that

  9. Klaus & Hayley so rarely interact (this was the first time they interacted since 1x11 and it was only for a few seconds and it was about the werewolf alliance - not about the child) that I think it would be OCC for Hayley at this point to let Klaus touch her - she's made it pretty clear that she despises Klaus and likes Elijah.

  10. Good episode. I think Esther is manipulating Monique, she was consecrated so officially became an NO witch. She wanted her own children dead, so no surprise she wants her "evil" grandchild dead.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Marcel no.... Genevieve no....but as for Hayley... kill her and kill her now...

    ReplyDelete
  12. This i totally agree with!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hayley is like nails on a chalkboard. I want to slap those looks off her face is just about every scene. Can we find Elijah another woman to fall for please??

    ReplyDelete
  14. I thought it was pretty god awful. I'm really sick of the "everyone is so mean to me!" Klaus routine! What happened to the badass we had on TVD? Hayley being toted as acting line a Queen was just ridicules, she behaved like a bitchy teenage girl like she always does. I have no words for why Marcel escaped death once again and not only that but once again, didn't learn his lesson and recruited Josh and the other vamps to his side... WTF. WHAT? HOW? STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I felt the same about Marcel, lol. SERIOUSLY! :p
At the very freaking least, he shouldn't have had the peeps announce that they were sent by him before they cut themselves open. At least that way he could have had SOME faint hope of sabotaging their alliance guerilla style, but NOPE, he just HAD to go the DUMBASS route. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Only thing I can think of is even though Elijah was mad at Klaus, he still didn't want to hurt him by killing Marcel since Klaus loves him like a son. It's the only reason Klaus didn't kill Marcel himself when he learned what he did with Rebekah, he could Marcel no more then he could Rebekah when push came to shove.
BUT, screw all that. KILL MARCEL. He's an IDIOT. Somebody! Anybody! PLEASE!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Dumbass was trying to send a message, and of course wanted to take the credit for it. Smh. I'm Sooo over him.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well, that's all about to change now since Cami slept with Marcel. Klaus will kill him.

    ReplyDelete
  19. "A hit?" You do remember she's had a few on her already? Lol this isn't the first time.

About Klaus (I'm not a die-hard fan): I think Rebekah leaving and him accepting it was some big change for his character (I might guess prematurely). If TPTB wanted a really good excuse to make the protagonist of their show likeable there they have it. So that may explain the ring, the wolf pact and his bar scene (other possible explanations include Klaus being Klaus).

I don't think either of the was seriously attacking the other, so it was more about the meaning imo, the power in the scene was the dialogue.

Agreed about Klaus, although I always fear it's a farce and he's the same as ever (doesn't seem so, though).

    Fingers crossed.

He was pretty badass in this episode. The only instance of "eismtm!" is when Elijah goes to talk after killing Thierry, and it was less a whine and more of a sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think it would be OCC for Klaus to forgive Marcel for plotting to kill him back in 1919 in regards to the Mikael thing. I think that's what he's actually upset about - and obviously if Cami is sleeping with Marcel (in Klaus' mind) it means that's she's allied herself with him and is choosing to side with Marcel and his band of vampires.

  25. Excellent episode, I think The Originals is like a Game of Thrones class B, all this factions fighting for power, all these alliances, all these rebellions, this show are in a good place now.

Thierry who? Finally he is dead. I think Genevieve will be the next.

I love Hayley so much, she is one of my favorite characters I hope she turn more leader than ever of the wolf pack, she and Jackson make a good team.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sigh, i hope you're right. B/c it's just ugh!! He makes me crazy, and if i didn't love my hair so much, i'd be pulling it out! lol Thanks, that could be a possibility but i want a little more of an explanation of his "180" attitude.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ya know i would LOVE if that were the reason. But i feel like it isn't. B/c Rebekah put ALL the blame on herself, and after that extremely long "Family therapy" episode. Klaus was all screw it, i'll let them both live. But Rebekah will never return, so they can't plot against me together anymore, etc etc etc. I feel once Klaus found out about Cami and Marcel through Gen, then that was the trigger, and IF SO, that really infuriates me!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Obviously Klaus doesn't know how to think things through I never really liked Klaus or Marcel I tried to like Marcel when he was with Rebekah but I just can't find myself to like him Elijah is my favorite and he has from the start I can't wait to see what happens next week and wonder how big the finale is going to be.

    ReplyDelete
  29. More like a Grade D version of Game of Thrones.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think the finale will be HUGE! I went from Loving Klaus, to loving to hate Klaus, to HATING Klaus, to hating Klaus with a passion!! (But i still give him props WHEN he has his moments) Marcel i tried to like him in the very beginning, wayyy before Rebekah. But i went straight to trying to like him to, I want him dead. Lmao...didn't take too long. Elijah, I loved Elijah, then i had a huge grudge against him for yearsss. I just RECENTLY got over it, and now i like him again. hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  31. He was really whiney. Klaus looked like a kicked puppy when Cami first refused his help, then changed her mind, I hated that scene at least Caroline would have had the manners to say thank you. When Davina first refuses his "gift", he again looked like a kicked puppy for a second, he recovers but it's clearly there. He whines to Elijah, he whines that Cami had sex with Marcel which so what? Cami s not his girlfriend, she can sex up anyone she wants.

Hmmm... Idk. In my eyes I've seen Klaus try this kind of behaviour before; lots of times, actually. But he was always pulled out for some reason or other (not helping himself or being himself, someone betraying him/not trusting him, an enemy (he's always the cruellest with those) spiting him, etc). But this time he's kind of... calm. And then there's the lack of the "I'm playing you!" glint in his eyes. Idk. I'm not saying it means change, but Rebekah and the thing seem a good enough reason if it's the case.
In case you need false hope, case in point:
    - He says the bastard comment with a lot less self-pity and takes his brother accusations extremely calmly (for Klaus).
    - He did nothing just for the sake of being cruel/manipulative/annoying.
    - He did three things for the sake of others (ring/pact/Genevieve), though the last one backfired when he proved a point.
    - He was kind/polite/calm to/with everyone. Including seeing Hayley with Elijah, Elijah accusing him, Cami and Marcel (Klaus-style), Davina and Josh, Hayley.

There's only so much I can ask of a character in an episode, but I hope and see these as signs. I also think road-to-redemption-Klaus has a lot of potential tbh. Hope with me. :P

  33. Maybe if they'd show her being a leader and not just acting like a bitchy mean girl then I could get down with Hayley. Daenerys Stormborn she is not, Hayley isn't even worthy to clean up Khalessi's dragon's crap. Hell, she's not even worthy to be Sansa's handmaiden.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hmm... All I heard was "Please kill me and my only friend." :p Hehe.

  35. The women who elijah was sitting down with in the restaurant is Jabborwacky from OUAT:Alice in Wonderland lol

    ReplyDelete
  36. HA! hope with you? Yeahhh nice try. lmao. But i'll take your comment, only b/c i'm just really annoyed right now, my mind is somewhere atm, and i don't want to talk about him. But i read your comment. I just can't comment on it now. Let's just put a pin in it for tonight.

  37. I really like Genieve but please cant you defende yourself agains another witch or what?.. what they did to her in the past really changed hetand that upsets me i was hoping for her to really save Kieran but her bitterness won.
Glad to see Josh cheering Davina up, he is a great friend and that speel is for the real Vampire daylight ring or the one he wants to do to the werewolves?
it was a good episode, sad to see that Thierry was teh one that gets to die cause of Marcel actions and Elijah is trying to make things work so bad that he doesnt see he is doing it all wrong,

    ReplyDelete
  38. It was the daylight ring spell. Klaus doesn't know what stone he needs for the moonlight rings (day-walking rings have lapis lazuli).

  39. Thanks i just thought Klaus being Klaus he always has a second intention.

Well, we clearly have a different definition of whining, so fair enough.

  41. The greatest weapon17 April 2014 at 14:35

Well, it's better to hope than to know to expect disappointment imo. No need to answer if you're busy, I understand. I was trying to help you hope but I guess I had the opposite effect. :P

  42. I'd want to screem YES, YES, YES to this please, or it all become unbearable to watch soon.

    ReplyDelete
  43. She is a bitchy mean girl. I also know her back story since I am a fan of TVD and I can't forget she set up her friends and a large massacre of her own kind. TO just ignored that whole part but I can't forget it!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lol obviously he did those things for his own Agenda we just aren't sure what that is just yet.

  45. Pérola Cardozo Alves18 April 2014 at 02:09

I think not. I think Klaus is being Klaus. The only thing Klaus ever truly wanted was to have family. He realized he failed his Mikaelson family beyond repair, but he has this child in the way, and he just found out his other family, the werewolf part of him, and he's thinking, his child will probably be a werewolf too, so, are the werewolves he need to help, so his child can have the family he didn't quite have. And even step out s father, since Rebekah pointed to him that he was becoming his father. He's tired of fighting for an ideal family for him, so now he gave up and just wants a family for his child.
Those tears weren't for Kieran, were for himself, actually. Cause he actually let himself care for Cami in this non-physical way, but as a friend, and he felt betrayed once again. And he doesn't want to hurt her, cause he does care, and he does know it's his fault at some degree, so he's frustrated once again. Like... Can he ever trust someone? Can someone ever understand how he feels or think? Cause, although he did betray a lot of people, he was betrayed endless too.
So, part of his acting is to guarantee the safety of his baby, and part is him actually trying to atone for his sins, in his own way. But, I think that somewhere in the future the French Quarter will realize that they actually need Klaus to be his Klaus self, cause in the end of the day, kingdom without king is a land of endless battles. There is method on Klaus way of thinking, not the best one, granted, nor the high moral kind, but it works, if he's less impulsive and people just stop plotting around him, you know...
