    Gibbs' dad. The actor who portrayed him, Ralph Waite, died a few months ago so they're honoring him with Jackson's death in the finale.

    Aww damn I didn't know that, I always liked him. So glad I found out before the ep otherwise I would have been a total mess. But I think I will have a box of hankies handy because I have a feeling I am going to need them.
